love the video! a few ideas for the shop interiors are: a clothing shop, produce/grocery store, book store, café, tool shop, or a plant store :-)
this really is a different experience and such a nice break from the cookie cutter minecraft videos that are over saturating youtube. i love your videos!!

God im sure its daunting looking at the area for the city but your level of detail is so worth the time

amazing builds and great details again! you should definitely include a small apothecary as interior for a smaller house or maybe just a room. healthcare would be good in a busy part of the city where most people have easy access. then of course you should plan a supplier of herbs and other ingredients and a productuon facility for the medicine, for the shop nearby or in the industrial part of the city
Hey man, every episode you put out, especially after starting the city project, just makes me fall ever so slightly more in love with your world. The texture pack is a great addition I must admit. I don't quite like the red tiled roof, but other than that it looks really good. I especially like the retextured double slabs, the various iron bits and the lanterns. I quite like your candle idea but it ruins it for me ever so slighly that the flames doesnt stick to the wick. The bigger candles especially is a joy though suffering from the same problem with regards to the flames. I am a huge fan of your slow pace (I think I said this on the map house video as well). Please don't die, I wanna see this world develop over the years to come.

Small suggestion for the layout of the city, if I were a a noble/royal I would really dislike having to walk through a busy market to get to and from my rich friend’s houses. So maybe something through the middle to break up the walk would be nice. Like a well established road or something idk.

One of the interiors could be the house of a widely known cartographer, who is a curious fellow with lots of cool artifacts / collectibles who creates really intricate sort of maps. This could tie in really nicely with how you have that map room, and I feel like the new candle textures would be perfect
Awseome build! Maybe a crane on the Bridge where the big house in the middle is would suit it (or build in the roof truss of a high building)… pulling up barrels and food from a small ship below, creates a nice diorama

in the big house it could be cool if you replaced the paper in the item frame for a lectern. I think it would just be a better addition for the ink pot :)

Yes but sadly it’s not very relatable for most people so I stick to vanilla
This is really cool and obviously just apart of the process but it’s really funny to me to think that in a realism sense in the process of building a city the people chose to build a bridge and cover it in homes before putting any homes on the actual land 😅

Always a bit sad that you can't turn on the shader when showing of the building in person. It would be so nice to see how the sun interacts with all the different nooks and windows and such... maybe you can find a lighter shader that does have shadows, for showing off in person?
I will do this in future as I’ll be upgrading my setup shortly, may do a work around next time though!
@FitShawMC I like to use complementary unbound (with some tweaks of my own) or Sildur's Basic shaders. Both of them have their own styles and keep my fps at a solid 60 with a gtx 1060.
