Reflectix insulation helps keep my camper cooler in the summer, warmer in the winter, and blocks out the early morning light. I decided to cover the outer side with fabric, so it looks nicer from the outside.

That fabric is really pretty; matches your camper so well. Love that color! I've never been to Ollie's, but I think I'll find one and go see what it's all about. Great idea for making reflectix attractive! Thanks Doreen!

I wouldn't have thought to sew the material on the reflectix, Great idea! I'm going to try this.

Pretty!! Don't you just love using sheets instead of buying fabric!! I just bought 2 gorgeous printed full size flat sheets at the 2nd hand store for cushion covers in my trailer makeover! Way cheaper!

I did find an awesome vintage sheet for 50 cents, but it wasn't big enough, and I couldn't find another, except on Etsy and eBay, for way more money. This sheet set was only $9.99.

I was thinking about doing this but wasn't sure if you could use a sewing machine to sew the fabric on. Now I know. Thank you!! (P.S. They look great, by the way!)

Why not put material on both sides? Then beautiful inside too.

I have curtains on the inside, so I don't even see the reflectix.

I would think this would hinder the job of the reflectix. Please let us know if the reflectix still works as intended. I would love to do this, just not sure. Thanks for sharing! 💜🙏

It probably does change it some, because it's not reflecting anymore. It will still help, because the windows are just plexiglass, and a lot of heat comes through them. It still acts as insulation.

Don’t you need the silver facing out to reflect the heat away ?

It probably would work better that way, but it still blocks a lot of heat just because it's an insulation.
