Received the modifier today and tried it out on my slimline pro and I must say this little piece actually works. Was actually happy with the performance without the modifier but made the slimline hit like my modified T-outliner, amazing something actually works as advertised!
MMA BARBER LIFE appreciate this detailed review. I got mine yesterday.. I do have a question tho. how many times would you be able to sharpen your blade without it not being to thin?
Great vid man. You are the only one that explains about separating the blades on the pro li before modifying. Been searching online and UA-cam for like 2 hours trying to find out the proper way without messing up my blades. Good lookin out very informative video!
Thanks for the review. I purchased the product as well and I noticed that it does an amazing job of sharpening the blades. However like you mentioned I noticed that when you place them on the andis T-Liners and zero gap them it does bite and catch a little. Thanks for the information on what to do when this happens!
Here's a tip. get 1200 grit sandpaper and lightly, stand then on a back angle then draw the edger stroke back-wards. then side to side will knock the bite as well. cheap and works. BI here
It will make you cut look sharper but it won't sharpen a dull blade. And the reason you don't flip it over and do the inside is because it will create separation between the still and moving blade and it won't cut
Jamil Mcintyre bro I experiment flipping the blade just to see if it will work and it did .. in fact my blades be cutting better from the previous blades I sharpen
Are you reviewing this product for a check or because it's really good and works!!! If he becomes rich from this product because it's official, it's one thing. But to say that you hope he becomes rich and then request a check in the same video, is like playing those that watch your videos by telling them whatever and wanting a check for making this product appear good,
i need some advice , i shape up my hair and my son's hair with the T-outliner with the stock blade , I go over our hair lines over and over , it doesn't "hit" well , so do I zero gap? or modify the blade?
Modifying the blade isn’t necessary for a dad like yourself who is only cutting himself and his son. I would recommend zero gapping them, or setting them closer. Just remember, modifying is going to the extreme because as barbers, we do both modify and zero gap trimmers.
So if my blades are zero gapped and hitting good already,do you still recommend this product being that i would have to push my blades back a little after using this product for possible biting(cutting skin)?
Concierge place honestly, if you are perfectly satisfied with your trimmers the way they sit, I wouldn't touch them. It's like the classic saying...if it ain't broke, don't fix it! Stay cutting my friend...
Brother first good morning brother! I'm wanting to learn a bit how to regulate the spring of my gtx t-outliner and am afraid to break it, is it reliable to do what they recommend in videos ?? If you can make a video regulating the spring pressure gtx would be very grateful !!
When you talk about regulating that spring, i assume that you mean the tension spring. I do not like to make videos when their are already good videos out there, so, i'll recommend that you check out AD The Barber's channel. He has an excellent video on how to set your tension. You want either, a quarter to half-moon gap in-between that ball, and the metal spring. ua-cam.com/video/4E5QwpXqdYY/v-deo.html
I honestly would love to be cute, and say that i'm not telling you to try and be exclusive, but I cannot find the website anymore. It took me so long to find them, and I lost the web address that quickly. I'll try and find it for you.
Dan the Man. Atlanta Barber & Beauty Supply go this website and you can find them there they only $25 im barber that loves looking out for other barbers
Ordered mine, and a 10 second blade setter, on the August 18th, still no sign of them. Emailed the company, no reply... Pretty terrible customer services 😡😡😡
I don't know why zero gapping clipper or trimmer barbers focus on them in my opinion clipper or trimmer works better with out zero gapping them and only need one clipper to be zero gapped not all tolls 0 gapping em
Bro, I'm a barber and been wanting that gold blade since I was in school. No one seems to want to share where they got it, like it's some secret. R u willing to share where u got it or what u looked up to find it?
i honestly cannot tell you because i forgot where i got them from, and what I typed in. i understand why people don't wanna tell because it took me sooo long to find it, and when i went back to check on em, they were sold out. good thing i ordered 2 of them.
Brandon you have to buy the whole trimmer to get the blade. Here's the link, but I must admit, I've had this blade before and it's only good for looks not performance. I'm sorry, I can't purchase this. It's doing the same thing as a piece of sandpaper at the correct grit and a steady hand held at the right angle can do. Sorry.

It's the truth. I loved my Wahl detailers before but after the 1 minute blade modifier, they're truly BEASTS!!!! Best addition to the barber game.
Do you get anybody complaning about discomfort while your lining em up?

1200 grit sandpaper and oil will. just be gentle lay flat side to side, like sharping a razor
You are my all time fav dude on clipper tutorials 😚
This is a must have especially if you get the zero gapped two amazing products
I planned on purchasing one. Thanks for the review.
Does the thing expire? Or does it have number of use then its done?
Around 10
