I found a little trick about the tension and how to set it pretty good every time when you're tightening the screw make a little Half Moon on top when you're screwing it in the hole you sure look like a half moon on top and then you know you're good.

I prefer Ron’s blade over a stock blade every day of the week and twice on Sundays
Ace OfFades same here! The stock blade took a lot longer to get a decent edge up too.

Detachable doesn't have a T-outliner. they have a regular outliner blade aka 000000 1/150"
Only issue was , you had the blade set closest when you tested on the soft part of your arm but , you backed off of it to bald out (Counter Productive) . That's where the drag came from . My thing is in general I said I don't bald out with my trimmers but , to break the blade in i clean up fades /shaves etc . Naturally the detachable would bald better because it's the one you have set to do just that . If you were gonna bald with it that wasn't the best way to test that theory lol
That’s why I tell people to not bald out with trimmers. They were still pretty close after I reset them. It was a minor difference. They cut well too. A lot better than the stock blade. I’d take a Ron Legend over stock any day of the week. A stock blade takes too long to get the job done.
If the blade be irritating your skin and can't even bald out, it aint worth 40$ step your game up Ron or lower your price.lol

Bro why people need to bold with trimmers,you have clippers for that,thats why they have a lot of power so you can do that,after clippers on lowest settings,you can use prety much any blade on your trimmer,i think that GTX blade would be the best,and thats it.
Wahl balding for faster balding out why use slimline pro with long hair they are not for that and they line up perfect and for designs are great and do take the line from shave aswell

to me the best trimmers are trimmers with deep teeth like the slimline or gtx. wahl beret. trimmers make your life as a barber so easy but to be honest. when edging up my nr1 tool is the razor🔪🔪🔪🔪

The only modified blade that I had that was legit was the og titanium Babyliss blade

I modify some of mine but leave some stock because the stock blades are better for balding modified blades are for edging mainly in my experience

Balding i use 000 for bulk,00000 to get bald, outliner to get bald like a straight razor.

Stock blade mirror and a good hold angle while tightening has worked for 2 decades. My lines have been good since I actually learned my tools. If all hair grows straight it would be easy to give a good line up. But it doesn't, so it's just up to you the barber to learn your craft no special tricks needed
