I have been watch the adventures of Frank and Sarah and remembering my basset, Ginger. They are a terrific pair, just adorable. Especially loved the lettuce, Frank in the snow and their afternoon walk. Now I'm smiling from ear to ear. Thanks!!
I have a question about the breed. Would 30 min morning walk, a short sniff outside at noon and a longer 1 hour walk in the late afternoon be enough for them to be calm and quit during some hours alone? (By walk, I mean on a long leash and through the woods) I would of course also play with him every day and do scent games with him...
Loved this video! Especially the Bassetmobiel and that "drive" to the walking trail. I live in Zambia and take my 4 doggos to a safe area to walk them, in my open game - watcher Landrover. People always laugh and point....it looks like we are on a game watching, doggo safari. 😁

I had four basset hounds and was walking three on one leash and one in my other hand when suddenly the three took off and drug me down an embankment through the weeds to a creek I had the leash wrapped around my wrist and couldn’t get it loose I was thinking about getting snake bit while I was rolling around in the weeds finally was able to get up and they were having a ball in the water didn’t see that coming and they all had a separate leash after that you gotta love them to death mine are all gone now and I miss them
Beautiful companions Frank and Nancy. They had me smiling like a complete ninny. I can only imagine the pleasure and laughs that they gave you over the intervening years. Thanks for sharing these two great characters with us folks. I wish you rainbows.
Very cute! We think it's only ours that do things like having a drink in the middle of the "getting ready" for a walk until we see they are all the same! They are adorable and Sarah has a beautiful voice.
you guuys are awesome I to have a hound and I love him dearly just wish I had more time to spend with him but trust me the lack of love is definately not there.
Bassets "love" to run away so you need a fence. They make them think there's an invisible fence which is pretty clever imo. :) I don't know if I could trick my basset like that, though.
Usually you need a fence because Bassets tend to escape/run away and go on a basset journey. They make them believe they can not run away by pretending there is a (invisible) fence. Therefore they need a car to get out of this area. ;)
Well, you may believe these lovely people are pretending to have an invisible fence, ValBordeaux, but I'm certain there really IS an invisible fence because he takes off their sensor collars at the beginning of the clip and puts on their 'go for a walk' collars. I love dogs and bassets are definitely in my top 5 favorite breeds, but NO dog is so smart that these folks would go to the trouble of switching collars just to make the dogs believe there is a fence. It's there. The collars prove it!
I have two Bassets. You don't take them for a walk, you take them for a sniff.
I have a female and walking is always an adventure
@@richardkatz2811 If you are talking about your wife or girlfriend I recommend : leave out the jewelry stores!
I miss my basset. They're the sweetest, most loving dogs out there. Please pet a basset if you ever see one :)
While Sarah was getting a drink and playing with the food bowl, Frank is like, "Come on!! We ain't got time for that!!" LOL
This video needs to be longer.❤️
They are so stinkin cute 😘😘😘😘
Love the deception of the "drive" to the walk area! *LOL* great video!
Sweetest breed in the whole wide 🌎!

how sweet these 2 beautiful bassets are! My late baby girl was also called Sarah and she had more like Frank's type of coat.
Frank is such a beautiful boy! I just love him more each time I come back to see his antics!
Thanks for reminding us how beautiful Sarah's voice is. We hear it so often, that we sometimes wish she would quiet it !

They have a bounce in their step when they walk.

Hi Menzie, Yes, Frank's feet get lots of comments -- we say he's wearing leg warmers, and that he's a ballerina in disguise :) Thanks, N
😂😂😂😂 bassethmobile at the end of the driveway 😂😂😂😂 i think i die
Bassets can drink for a loooong time!
And sound like a horse! Still miss my Ernie! 04 NOV 2011 :-(
Adorable dogs! .Thanks for sharing.
My bassett took quite a few head turns while I was watching this video. She heard the familiar moaning. I love your Stars! Keep the videos coming.
Cuteeeee. Kisses and hugs
Bassets can easily lose their collar whenever they want. It is something to do with their shape!
I have two, Nora and Lola and your videos certainly resonate!
Que lindos y adorables.
Son mi raza favorita.

Adorable 🥰❤

I love mine, no other dogs like them
A BAD CHOICE FOR QUIET HOUSE, PLENTY ON RESCUE, GET OLD ONE. TAKE SOME PICS AND LOVE THEM AND NEVER GO BACK
That’s a great video
Legend has it that they were last seen at the end of the drive way, heading off into the sunset and never seen again...
That was great! I love Frank's droopy droopy socks on his back feet. :)
I've got an invisible fence too she won't go past 😃
Invisible fence...great idea and your neighbours ( wish we were yours) must be absolutely fascinated!💓
Basset mobile is pimp!
Frank barks funny! It's like he's out of the subject then he's ooooh!

Not spoiled....Definitely not spoiled 💙 I miss my Daisy
Basset owners are members of a cult. These dogs reach you in a way that only another Basset owner could understand

Perhaps if we raise a rumpus they'll hurry up!
Gotta wash my bowl...LOL
The tails wag in time with the baying. Kids.
That area looks so cold and depressing....if I were a Bassett I'd be howling my head off too. Lol
Tough hunting dogs

so much drama with a basset!

How come you can't be my neighbor? I would be over the moon!
Cat, Chaps and Emma
Do you think they would really 'think' about walks themselves? Our Newman sure doesn't! lol

spoiled ? naaaa
i didn`t understand what it was with that invisible fence? do hte dog need a car ride before a walk? :)

LOL, BILL IN THE ELEMENT VEHICLE,. CHEAP, THEY RUST. THE DOGS DO NOT UNDERSTAND THEIR PARENTS DO NOT OWN PROPERTY TO RUN
Many dogs by their nature are curious- are you sure driving them to the end of the driveway would stop them wanting to run off & explore?!
yawn
Yawn
...you even have an Element just like mine!
boy are they over weight
