This is a typical beagle waking up......honestly after 20 minutes of thier yoga class yawning and stretching and scratching themselves then they get out of bed. My beagle is in my bed around 9pm and she duznt wake or get out of bed until gone 10am. If I try and get to walk her before 10am she makes a groaning sound when I physically lift her out of my bed and will sit down on the pavement and refuse to walk. In all honesty it's a Wonderful breed for a family but stubborn it thier way or th high way, really naughty but fun. Also if you like yoga get a beagle
The alien in your backyard beagles are generally energetic unless u feed them more than twice a day because they will get fat and lazy they love to eat but i’m sure if u emphasized being active they would love it if u want something a bit bigger and similar to the beagle but usually more goofy get a pit but get one that’s a puppy or u know is well behaved people train their pit bulls in the worst ways they can get big so i’d suggest getting a smaller one like 35 pounds if u like smaller dogs u can usually tell by their paws but pits can get big

Reminds me of my beautiful beagle puppy back in 2003. ❤️🥰 If only I could go back in time. My puppy was named Larry. He lived for around 12 years. I'm starting to get tears in my eyes now just thinking about him
my beagle was not a morning dog. didn't even like waking up to go outside until at least 11 am. when she got older, she didn't wake up until 2 or later sometimes.
Oliver is so beatiful, he was one of the resons I got a dog. Seeing him now, all grown up, its very good! I hope to see him for many years to come. Thank you for sharing him with us!
This is so heartwarming. When a dog sleeps on his back like that, it means he feels safe and secure in his surroundings. And in Oliver's case, he is also very much loved.
My friend has a St. Bernard, and it was inside a bar when a city police car rolled by. The policeman stopped and came in to "investigate:" the safety of the patrons. He walked up to the dog and the dog did pretty much the same thing - rolled onto its back and rubbed his face & eyes with both paws. The officer just smiled, shook his head and walked out without saying a word to anyone. Huge dog, but cute as heck.
I was thinking the exact same thing, but then I remembered there is a certain percentage of the population that hates everything, including themselves. In my many years, I’ve never seen anything as pure and wholesome as a dogs heart.

When my brother went to college, he took a little beagle dog he named -- after me -- Susie, with him. Susie not only kept my brother company, she also within a year introduced him to his wife. Beagle doggies are good for all sorts of things. Love Oliver and how he softens all the hearts of those who watch him.
I got my beagle puppy last year and he died at 10months from an intestinal twist :( we couldn't save him and i miss him every day, although my puppers life was short he had a huge impact on my life

Not just Beagle puppies but older Beagles too! Mine is 10 and she will stay in bed all day if I let her! Even in the morning I’ll be like “wanna go out and go potty?”...she looks at me, yawns and then buries herself further into the blankets😆 she’ll go like 12 hours without peeing because she’d rather stay in bed! She’s always done this since she was a pup🐾♥️🐾
That was the. funniest and cutest thing I’ve seen in forever!! I’m not being critical here, but I wonder if he has fleas/ticks. I could tell by his noises that he was frustrated. And rubbing his ears on the bed is another sign. And he was rubbing hard! Then he scratched some more with his back leg. Poor thing! Lastly, he gave up and resorted to shaking his entire body as if he was wet. I know by now any fleas must be gone because your clip is from 3 years ago. Please keep on loving him all day, everyday! My dog did this for a week, turns out he had an ear infection and a few ticks in his ears Well, my dog was literally crying then, now he's just getting some medicine for the infection, no more scratching
