I like how you are a consistent uploader and reveal tricks. When I was younger I used to be baffled by tricks but it's so satisfying to see how it's done, in a timely manner. I also like how you say that it's just a possibility (or give multiple ones) and that you don't drag out the explanation to make it a certain length to get more money.

If the two top cards were the ace and four of spades you could just use the five of spades as your prediction card and tell the spectator that the prediction card is the sum of value of the two cards.

Just an observation. If the card you take out in the beginning is a prediction, why do you need to snap your fingers or flick the card? It’s not changing from one card to another, it’s always been there, so nothing “magical” is happening. Would it not be better to put it in the card case and build the tension when you take it out with it’s back to the spectator and just simply turn it around to show the prediction?

The more information you give people, and the more chances for them to watch for the magic to happen, the easier it is to lose them. Provided they’re busy watching for a swap or trying to figure out where you double lifted (ignoring why that would even matter) the less their mind goes to the more obvious answer of your shuffle

Also the "downside" can be solved if you pair values differently. For example instead of pairing like SUIT3 = SUIT1, VALUE3=VALUE2. You can do Suit3=Suit1+Suit2, Value3 = Value1 + Value2.

I didn't need the tutorial. Just watching how the trick played out, it was quite obvious to me. I watched it anyway, and the way he suggests handling the case where the "prediction" card is the second card is IMHO a clumsy approach. In the case he showed (AS, 4S), I would just go to the 2nd & 3rd cards and make the target the 4H. You can then use a false cut or false shuffle to move the AS off the top, palm it off, or just make an excuse to take that card off and bury it, depending on what you are comfortable with. Alternatively, when you go to look for the prediction card, you can split the deck at any point, then place them face down in the opposite order (a cut, essentially). Just move the hands apart, pretending that you are still thinking/looking for the prediction card. You could, for example, split between the 6H and the AC, then take the AD from the bottom as your prediction card as you reassemble the deck. If you look, then shuffle again, it won't come off well, and you might have to do it again if it still doesn't work out.

What I actually like about videos like these, especially ones I have seen from you, is that you only really show half the trick. What I mean by that is so many people online will bitch and cry "you revealed the trick, you ruined magic, wahhhh" but what I like about it is that it makes it easy to learn something really easy, but we have to do the rest if we want to do the trick. A trick is as good as you make it. Ever see cup and balls? Pretty sure I learned that one when I was 6, though I've seen Penn and Teller do it too and amaze millions. The trick is only half of it because you have so much personal opportunity to dress it up to the point that two people could do this trick you just showed, but have it look very different. I have learned a few tricks but changed something or gave a different story. "I had a dream last night about these cards and you picked a card. I am going to take that card out of the deck and lets see what happens" is very different than just straight "is this your card".You didn't ruin anything. You inspired. Teach a man to fish. You taught how to fish, we just need to provide the hook.

I just watched another magician teach this trick. Lol. I have to watch it again. Its cool.
Its to much to type. Sorry. But the cool part is, you write your prediction on a piece of paper. Then after you reveal your prediction, you then ask what number did the spectator choose in the beginning , you use it again, and you deal that number of cards down, and the final card is the actual card, from your prediction. Its cool.
In this trick, When you have those 2 piles of cards, and you need to get both bottom cards to the top of each pile, you can shuffle them to the top. Or do what MLT did, just turnover each pile, showing each face up card.
But i dont like them ways. In a different trick, MLT had to force the original top card, now the bottom card on the spectator and after he dealt so many cards down, he said. Lets see how many cards we dealt down, bringing that original top card from the bottom, back to the top.
That is what i suggest doing to reveal both cards.

Honestly you can get rid of that top card problem if you just use it to flip the spread over, using that top card as the “surfing” card for the spread flip. I don’t know what it’s called but I love the way it looks. You can just look at the second and third cards instead, use the top card to spread flip, then placing it on the bottom of the deck, grab your prediction, and good to go 😎 no need to do an extra shuffle or anything

I really like easy to do tricks like this. It lets you focus on your presentation, which in my opinion always is the most important part. Also a quick note on the "problem" of the top 2 cards having the same suit or value. I just see if the 3rd card is any better, then take out the second card (at this point no one knows what you are doing anyway), then say "nah, that's not it" and put it anywhere in the deck.
