Wow I just got this video recommended and I'm shocked how good his Chinese is. Most foreigners who learn Chinese struggle with the R sound (especially in certain dialects) but yours literally sounds like a native, it's so shocking. I see a lot of "white guy impresses foreigners with NATIVE Chinese" but it's always obvious they have an accent, but this one is something else! If I was approached by that Patrick I'd think you're truly Chinese lol
Chinese is one of those languages that you don't expect a non-ethnic to speak so well. I love their reactions. I am impressed with the English of so many of them in their spontaneous remarks.
Besides native English speakers, I've found that most people love it when someone speaks their native language. It's just a great way to bring people together.
The biggest coincidence just happened! I’m watching this and see someone dressed in a SpongeBob inflatable walk by in my school. It was the perfect day to watch this video!😂
Some of my other favorites of his are when a massive wave at the beach sprinkles salt on one of the gang's surfboards and takes a big bite out of it to which Patrick angrily replies, "Hey! I was gonna eat that!" and another is, "I may be stupid but I'm also dumb!" "Chum is fum." 😂
You have to be famous on youtube to pull this off! haha So so funny! The girl before advert 2, her English was perfect! Thanks for posting, made my night. And saved to read again tomorrow. Thanks for the Chinese subs, helps me learn!
@@LaomaChris African woman on my flight home from my friend's wedding asked me how old I thought she was. I said late 30's/early 40's. She revealed she was 56. I asked her how old I was, she said 25. I'm 37. I'm definitely holding it together 🤣 but still bro, 33 is so young. Don't think of yourself as old, I'm still a teenager at heart.

支持你的观点，我觉得一方面确实和他的性格有关吧，如果我对一门外语炉火纯青，也会保持谦虚谨慎的态度。另一方面估计是跟他要推销课程有关。我觉得学一门语言的目的是在于使用，不是在于炫技，能使得交流对象知道自己的意思即可，去追求地道发音不是学习的主要矛盾。
