You have no idea how fortunate you are that i am not your neighbor. Because i would be at your back door every morning with a cuppa and I'd want to stay and play with fabric and whatever you want to do for several hours. Yoy are one of the sweetest people and having you for a friend would be such a blessing!
Kate, I often go thru your playlist and watch the older videos. I just finished watching a video where you showed us the Grandmothers flower garden quilt your mother made for you. How beautiful! Received my lovely package yesterday Kate and I love.all your personal touches! Little tags and notes and the beautiful way you put together the parcel with the hexie pin cushion, even down to wrapping the hexies in tissue like a hexagon! I can barely stand to use the darling hexie papers you cut out. And the Eileen soap...oh my! Deliciousness! Thank you❣️👏
Just discovered your channel. Have been doing english paper piecing for about 5 years, mostly small projects. I am working on 2 large ones right now Tula Nova and another that I designed. I just love it, find it so relaxing and soothing and unlike my traditional quilts very portable. Love your videos, you remind me of my aunt's mum, she lived in Bristol and taught me how to make a proper cup of tea, years ago, still make it and drink it daily. Everyone here in the states think I am a snob for insisting on a proper cup of tea, but I so love it, if only I could get some scones and clotted cream to go with it and an occasional trip to Marks and Spencers. Will be watching for future videos!!!
a long time ago i remember a hexigon quilt we had the fabric now my daughter in-law is hand quilting now im so excited for her...quilting is a passion for me! kate you are not just a quilter or gardener or paper mechaer you are an Artison like me ill be watching more this week

hi, kate! I’m new around here - just found your channel a week ago and have already subscribed. Your content, gentle voice, kind demeanor and the cats(!!!!) have all helped me gain a new, calmer perspective on what’s going on here in the states. Having gone through new jersey’s very stringent (and wise) shut down a few months ago, I find myself filled with frustration at the lack of concern throughout the rest of America. I tell you this merely to help you see how much your channel is helping me keep from letting others’ carelessness rob me of my efforts to remain calm and carry on. Oh the wee stitched bags are gorgeous. I can't put my finger on why but I love sewing paper. The pin cushion kits are so beautiful, I hope they do really well for you. Ahhhhhhh, t'is all so lovely. :-)

Well Kate, I’m diving right into English Paper Piecing with a big project…full size…or possibly twin 😊. I purchased the Sizzix machine and cutter plates, 1” and 1.5”. I’m getting ready for hip surgery and thought this would be a great pain distraction. I love, love, love Agnes’ quilt. Thank you for all you contribute to my daily joy.
Hello Kate. I just found you searching on You Tube/hand quilting and your English Paper piecing posts caught my eye, did not know that what I passionately/obsessively do had a name. I am a London based artist (jodieglenmartin.com) with a love for patchwork, I have spent 10 years patch working pin wheels to make memory quilts out of my 3 children’s clothes and now need to learn how to hand quilt, which is how I found you. Now this was how you assembled my little kit! I’m enjoying it so much. In fact, I almost finished it, and noticed one of the sides was sewn wrong. So I took the whole thing apart, removed all the papers and started over. And I never redo something. But this has inspired me more. I’m ready to make the ball next.
Those kit packets are adorable! I love your stamp. English paper piecing is addictive, and I have 2 sets of 2 inch diamond shapes, 100 in each. It's so good to see you looking much better. Take care Kate, God bless you and the cats. I noticed Norma at the end, such a sweetheart

It must be wonderful to know that you are so loved by all of us on the lime-green couch. I just didn't sleep well until I saw you on the mend. You have made a huge impact on my life and my psyche -- and my creativitym as well! My (mostly) Liberty hexagon EPP quilt is well underway and I might even finish it before a year!

Your videos are so well made and so relaxing. I am really enjoying them and the cats! When they rub against your arm I wish you would pet them more. It's like they are saying, "Don't talk to them, talk to MEEEE!" You are the busiest person I know. I wish more people had hobbies. I think your videos are successful because you just talk like I'm sitting with you. Kate you will smile at this, but I was sold the minute you started talking about that new Norma stamp. I do junk journals, and I cant wait to put my Norma stamp with that lovely brown paper and that darling tag in a special journal. Of course, the pincushion is also special and i can't wait to make it. You are the most creative with these projects. I also got a card set with the craft photos to add to above journal. It will be dedicated to Friend Kate at Homely House in the North of England. If thoughts and well wishes could heal, all of us on the LGS would have you healthier than you have been in years.
