This was my favorite podcast, the lads Alpha Wolf are such amazing band and this just feels like a bunch of dudes in a backyard with beers chatting about life...
Thanks! Great dudez. -GaЯza
Alpha Wolf have fucking made it and that makes me so happy! I remember hanging out with Sabian and he said his dream is to play with SS! I have so much respect for all these dudes, have helped me out when I went to Melbourne from Adelaide
I was one of them beating up people in adealide ahahaha
1:34:28 Thank for the shout out boys! can't wait to share the stage again!
The fact that CANE HILL had some inspiration on AKUDAMA made my day
These guys are RIDICULOUSLY good live. So much energy. Very cohesive. R-18 goes so fvcking hard.
I was at the original like ups first show....
And the previous deathcore band of John and Sabian...
Crazy to see how far they've come from our little town in Tassie!
got hooked when subzero came out... long time 30 years metal hardcore fan gonna say these guys is something.. love this interview. thanks garza.
Love the podcasts and the guests! Alpha Wolf slams.
I personally love the lines “say it to my face, better dig 2 graves, thought I told you mother fuckers I don’t play safe” from akudama. I fucking love that bit. Yea the drop is cool and the breakdown is awesome but I love the delivery in those lines. It has so much attitude. Sick.
🔥New to Alfa Wolf. Great guys! Thanks for the intoruduction to the band. 🤘
The podcasts is fire! First episode I watched. Podcasts like this make my job go by faster
Wow this was such an amazing episode!!! So cool all the love y’all gave to Wes and Mike and Staind Dysfunction has some dope riff’s
THE BEST RIFFS! -GaЯza
あ - く- だ - ま *WOOF!*
What I always hear, because Alpha Wolf right? So he barks, but very angrily! Love the song, sometimes wake up and the first thing that comes to my head is that part since months now... Even tho Aching Longing, 60cm and Bleed 4 You are my favs, Akudama is just on another wave-length.
The guys also spread a very positive vibe which helps me out a lot, love them!
Edit: I knew their songs since about like around 6 months now but never really realised it. I told my mate that they have a heavy sound "If I remember correctly" I told him.... Man, was a big understatement he told me xD. Their concert 2.October was so damn good, I came for Polaris but I left with Aalpha Wolf and Polaris.
This was great, love these guys and can't wait to see them next week !
Fun podcast will watch more :)
SO stoked to see them on here. 🔥 big fan
Loving your podcast! the artists and convos you have are awesome!
I saw these guys for the first time with Bodysnatcher and Vatican, with a couple of local acts at The Riff in Springfield Missouri, BEST show I've ever seen, when Alpha Wolf took the stage, the building might of well have exploded, the energy was unreal, can't wait to see these guys again 🤘🤘
Alpha Wolf have bodied the modern metal scene and essentially created their own subgenre. Amazing band and great dudes. Also incredible live.
Never seen your podcast before but will definitely be watching more Garza 🤟
Love the alpha wolf boys and so proud of them 🇦🇺
loved that interview man! alpha wolf boys seem so down to earth, best heavy band going wordwide atm imo
Stoked these boys are running the Aussie flag overseas alongside parkway (there’s a few others aswell)
Been following and seeing Alpha Wolf for years!!! Love this band so much andam so stoked they are killing it overseas. This is an awesome podcast - so cool to hear some of the stories behind the album.
Just finished watching ur interview on the punkrockmba! Keep up the good work brother! Appreciate ya!
Amazing group of lads, all around. Awesome episode!
Love hearing the mention of the Nile AZ show! It was absolutely bat shit crazy that night, the heat honestly added to the anger!
I been enjoying these guys for a couple years. It was cool to get to know some of their personalities and stories of the band formation. They are all very humble guys! You get the impression that they’re just regular ass dudes but they’re extremely, extremely talented. It’s kinda trippy really. It’s like their personalities don’t match their skill set. Watch some of Mitch’s drum videos. I mean you already know they’re all extremely talented individuals if you’ve listened to them. This is a good way to be though. Keep pushing boys! We love what you’re doing! I’ll be seeing them in the states. Worcester MA in March! Thanks for the podcast and posting it up G!
Thank you x
I saw them at the Masquerade and it was so worth it! I'm glad they played on a venue they liked and enjoyed the show! Even lost my glasses on the pit 😅
love to see the boys up doing a podcast, would love to see you get kublai khantx on one day
Iv been hooked on alpha wolf for a few years especially after seeing them live, so stoked about how stoked they are about their own shit, love it!
Love these guys! Saw them live in Montreal yesterday. Bangers after bangers
These boys drop absolute bangers
Love this one! Seeing alpha wolf tomorrow 😮💨😮💨😮💨
I really wanted to go see these guys play Toronto last month, but they were an opener, and I moved hours north of the city, so a tough sell. If they can come back and headline, I'm there!!!
Can't believe the success of Akudama riffing while drunk lol. That song slaps
I saw this and said fuck TV iam checking out some real Metal shit this is awesome pod cast right on Garza !!🤘😈🎶💥✨️🍻
I was at that last show before the tour got canceled from covid. Super sick. The guys are awesome and perform so well live. Love alpha wolf
I've missed them twice in Toronto, once because of covid and the other because the tickets were already sold out. They're one of my favorite Newer bands and definitely deserve some hype thrown they're way.
Alpha wolf 🔥🔥been a fan and never new how cool there dudes are
You guys went hard at Knotfest Syd, really didnt expect it. Set the standard for the card for sure.
Garza asking for a bottle opener and Mitch eyeballin him and sayin “that’s a screw top” 😂😂😂
Didn’t realize Scotty wore anything else other than a hoodie and black pants lmao
On a real note this was a great, great interview.
Great podcast, these dudes are great🤙
I'm late but this was awesome, saw these dudes at the Masquerade in Atlanta twice this year and it was absolutely sick both times hahaha
To sum this podcast in one word.....
WOW
These guys seem really nice and chill!
It’s funny because growing up in the 90’s being a rock star was still a dream for a lot of young musicians, and now the age of the rock star is truly over.
We now live in the age of gear nerds, really chill dudes and disgraced perverts
Just saw these guys perform in Hobart tonight. They put on an absolute fucking banger of a show! 🤘🏻
Alpha Wolf fucks so hard. I'm new to your channel but I'm diggin it my man. Keep this going please!
MY BOIS ARE DOING IT
great podcast
Can confirm you are “in the algorithm”
This band is fucking bad ass, love this podcast!
THA BOISSSS !
They can call their genre Emmure-core!
Cheers, to Metal! .m.
WTF. Some things are crazy. I'm from just outside Cardiff, Wales and A big Alpha Wolf fan. I had no idea Holding Absence were Welsh...🤯
"We don't talk about Perth" 🤔
I wonder why
If ya like coors bud don't know if you can get it but try staropramen(czech) or lech(polish) beer.
Great interview. I'm waiting for their new album
what’d you think about it?
@@zander504 it's a great album, very heavy
@@MetalBere yeah the singles made me think the album was gonna be soft, but i was decently surprised
@@zander504 far from that. I liked it a lot 🤘😎
Garza needs to get Spite, Thy art is Murder and Whitechapel on the podcast 🤘
20:50 we try to sound the most fucked up and it works
Lochie "literally" keogh
Shout out to #canehill !
Alpha Wolf be like:
Actually, can we borrow your mic to track a song that we haven't finished yet
🥰🥰🥰
Garza you need to get thy art is murder, spite Whitechapel and Chelsea grin on your podcast 🤘
"Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard". One of my favorite quotes.
Yeah it's corny! Mix it!!! Fuck yeah I love this so much haha
Shout out Vatican and Iris.exe
sabian is a alpha chad
Now I know why he wears the mask
And with a comment like that it’s a no brainer why your band ain’t doing shit, ya flog 👎
Ahahaha gotem
Isn't that a little rude? Wtf
Alpha Wolf is good but Australia has a better band, it's called LiveConformDie. Check their album Circa '94. Very creative and unusual music. On August 5th they will release a new record.
Why can't both bands be good?
@PVRIS you're welcome.
@@FilthyJazz someone is always better. LiveConformDie obviously is more thoughtful and creative band, not so straight forward like everybody these days. They have that spirit of 90's when creativity was on top of everything. Alpha Wolf sound good but nothing special, listen to Spineless from US - almost exactly the same.
Also, I can recommend bands like Creak from UK, Kissing Candice, My Ticket Home... Much intresting than all of these Lorna Shore nonsense type.
@@sweepingdenial everybody's got an opinion! I personally feel like music should not be seen as a massive competition of who's best because that to me, is not what music is about. I personally, like both alpha wolf and conform, I also like thornhill and lorna shore, you don't have to isolate yourself to 1 band and battle for them.
@@FilthyJazz i don't isolate myself to one band, I'm just looking at things objectively. I like bands that have their own sound and especially voice which is rare today. Conform is one of them. But I get it, Alpha Wolf and Lorna Shore are easier to comprehend because of the hype.
Saw these guys back in May here in Australia, NT. Not a huge fan of the current Metalcore formula but these guys put on a helluva show.
P.S Nice to see the Guitarist keeping the 'Emo' hair alive in 2022.
