I had 5 kids so I would have loved having a home like this when they were young. ( We lived in an 80o sq ft 2 bed 1 bath 1970 when the youngest was born. Then bought THIS house which is 4 beds 2 baths and about 1,500sqft (sp just about double sq ft) and it seemed sooo big for a while. Then the kids grew and took more space LOL. They are all grown up.amd having kids of their own and. living their lives now. Thanks for doing this. I love watching home tours but having someone who knows the little details of the ho.e doing it is really cool.
This home is huge. Perfect for a growing family. Having the heat registers in the ceiling makes placing the furniture easier. Kitchen is well laid out. I’d upgrade the stove. Plank floors are very nice. Cabinets appear to be a decent quality. The den is perfect. Love the fireplace TV wall. Like having the utility room off of the kitchen. Needs to have a sink if the room allows. Guest bedrooms are a great size. Master suite is large. Bath is well appointed but I’d upgrade the shower to a tiled one. Guest bath is nice. I’d add a transom window. I usually find a fair bit of things to change/upgrade. With this one my comments are minimum. It’s simply a nice home.
Thanks for a great comment! Sounds like you know your stuff! Keep watching and please keep commenting.
Modular and Manufactured home reviews I love doing them. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
This home is fantastic. Definitely top of the line . Blessings every one. 🌷🌷⚘
@Marisela Cantu indeed
Very beautiful home. Only wish your company was over at or nearer to the east coast. TY for sharing your info with us.
Love it! One of my favorite 32x80 floor plans.
Good morning! Thank you for sharing these homes. You’ve inspired me to do home tours!
Very nice family house
Hello Mr. Wilkins this house caught my eye because it’s named the rifleman well I’m a big fan of that show so I had to look at your house it’s a beautiful house extremely big for me but it’s really nice and I enjoy watching the video tell your wife have a happy Mother’s Day and I’m glad to be a Mom myself I have enjoy touring this house be blessed
Great home Bill!!!
Thank you
Nice floor plan..I would make the master bedroom larger with with walk-in closet
I agree that is the biggest flaw in this plan. But saying that, this is otherwise a very versatile home at a good price, and I'm sure could be easily tweaked for most people's preferences. Other than the small master wardrobe, I think the entry living room doesn't have enough separation to make it as useful as it could be or likely used as often as it might otherwise be. I was also a little disappointed by the size of the main living room. It is shown with a three seater couch and one chair only, and would be cramped with even one more single chair, let alone a recliner.
I like your color scheme and staging.
Just beautiful house love IT
Hey there, Just wanted to leave a comment for support. Love the videos, and wanted to say thanks all the way up from the Great White North (Nunavut, Canada!)
Sam, thank you so much. I know I'm no video pro. I appreciate the support and comments. I've learned from some of the negative ones, and always am thankful for each comment
Like the jetted tub option.😊
I really like this! We're looking for a 4 to 5 bedroom and this is a much lower price point than I've seen anywhere else.
We have some excellent homes at very affordable prices. Check them out at www.oakcreekabilene.com
Lovely
How much does a home like this goes for? I'm impressed!!!
Is this dr Phil? We have the older version of this exact modular we just bought it on 5 acres. I love it, just wish it was updated. It's from 2016
This is not dr Phil, it's oakcreek Bill. Lol
I would put the ☕ pot beside the fridge where the 🍶 is near, + organized in that area for your ☕ and tea
I am in 😍 🥰. I would love one.
Nice home
Thank you 😊
Nice home. Prefer sheet rock walls. Master bedroom needs a walk in closet, and the kitchen needs more drawer space
Your video was good. I like that you open up the doors, especially showing the kitchen pantry and laundry room. For a house that size, the kitchen pantry is way too small. Some people might need to turn that nice extra space in the laundry room into another pantry instead of putting a freezer there. Also, I would rather see one big living space, instead of 2 smaller, separate spaces so a large family could spend time together. The master closet was also way too small. But that's just me.
Gd afternoon 🤩 I am from Alabama and I like to see the homes from Texas 🌟
My wife loves this! Do you have this exact house but in single wide???? Please let me know
George, Thanks for your comment. I'm glad to hear that your wife likes this home so much. this home is a 2350 sq ft double section. While I can get many of the features of this home in a single section, I wouldn't be able to create the exact home in a single. The maximum size of my single sections is 18X78'. Please give me a call and let's talk about what we can do to provide you with the features but in a single. 325-480-2014 ~ Bill
Thank you for getting back to me. Do you deliver to California?
Bigger Pantry and the living rooms in one big living that will be nice
Thank you very much for including a picture of the floor plan but would you please put the picture of the floor plan at the start of the video. That way we can look at it before you start the video. It’s easier to keep up as you go along filming from room to room. Thank you.
Wow, can you transport to California? Love this!
my question as well. would LOVE to have this set up.
I would also add a closet as soon as you walk in the front door
The rifleman shot me but didn't kill me it is amazing and beautiful lol
Just my size. Make it a smart home and I am happy. Also master closet is small. So much I do love. But there are some changes I really would make at time of ordering. I didn't see not 1 walk in closet.
I quite like this house, and its price seems good. It is large and versatile. I like the slider onto the outside off the dining area that many homes strangely omit. All the bedrooms are also spacious. No arguments over bedroom as far as size.
However, as others have said the master wardrobe is too small, but I like that it is not off the master bath and does not back onto a wet space. I think that is the biggest flaw in this plan for most people, and that being said, while a minor point, could be a deal-breaker for many.
I was also a little disappointed by the size of the main living room. It is shown with a three seater couch and one chair only, and would be cramped with even one more single chair, let alone a recliner. Extending this area would have the benefit of increasing the size of the master bedroom to accomodate more wardrobe space!
I also think the entry living room doesn't have enough separation to make it as useful as it could be or likely used as often or as effectively as it might otherwise be. For me, this is a big draw back of this plan! I like the plans where there is a second family room that can optionally add to the open living space as this one does, but can also be closed off, which is not the case here, and could not easily be achieved as far as I can see. I also don't like that while it is totally open it seems somewhat disconnected at the same time. Anyway...
I'd like to see a sink in the laundry even though it is off the kitchen.
I'd also like the option to have sliding wardrobe doors. And I note that the doors to the jack and jill bathroom open out, while there seems plenty of space in the bathroom for them to open into the bathroom itself.
For me, I'd also want to add a ranch slider to the outside to at least the master and one other bedroom. The master as a luxury option. To one of the other bedrooms so that if used as an office, someone coming to see you for business would not need to enter the main part of the house unless they need to use the toilet. I assume such options could be accommodated.
I have also been spoilt by seeing bathrooms with huge step-up showers. Nothing wrong with the shower in the master bath here, but seeing all the videos that are available, if anything like me you end up hoping to incorporate the best of all of them.
Hope I haven't been too hard on this house, as I appreciate it for what it already is for its price point, but I'm sure for not much more money could be significantly improved. For me, I see so many homes that are so close, but yet not close enough for me. While this does offer the fifth bedroom, it is clearly at the expense of other space on other plans of similar overall size. The laundry is fine but could be bigger. The pantry is one of the smallest I've seen. Most are significantly bigger, some are walk-ins and a few are even separate rooms. The majority of the bigger houses have walk-in master closets and many are huge with islands and such, even on modestly-priced homes like this. So, yes, you are getting a fifth bedroom with this plan, but you are losing some luxuries that some similarly-priced four bed plans offer. But I admit that many such plans have the master closet off the master bath, even when the layouts as they stand would allow a door from the master bedroom instead.
Bill seems as if he would be a good guy to deal with and I appreciate his presenting this video. I don't think he needs to spend too much time in every bedroom when they all are of similar size and amenities. Two equal rooms sharing a jack and jill bathroom. And two equal rooms sharing a separate bathroom. Surely only need to really show one of each type of bedroom.
Anyway, I hope Bill sees my comments as constructive.
I totally accept this as constructive. I appreciate your opinion and respectful critique. You are welcome to review all of my videos!
What is the price? Didn't hear that in the video
How much? And is there the option to not have the vents in the ceiling and to change the master just a bit?
current pricing is available at www.oakcreekabilene.com. Overhead vents are a yes.
very beautiful so far.the kitchen pantry could be bigger love the home though.rip out all carpeting.how much is the home
I would not put the microwave above the cooker, the steam from cooking can not be good for the underside of the microwave cabinet.
would be interested if it had sheet rock.
Love this but would want a hood instead of micro wave over stove, and in master bath NO tub, large walkin shower. Washer dryer step up where tub is
I have a collection of antique tins, coffee, vegetable, tobacco, spices. That would fit one cubby, I’d put my 1949 Eames designed hand mixer in another.
Sounds great!
I want Lucas’s room and what room would Mark get and where is the hitching post for all the unexpected cow pokes that come around looking for hand outs and work and general trouble to challenge the man that uses a rifle with the speed and precision that other men do with a six gun and there is no water troph
That extra living room is wasted space to me. Id add a bigger closet in the Master on the other side to the right. Directly infront of the master closet butted up I'd put a coat closet to your right as well & a pantry infront of the coat closet butted up to the master closet and coat closet.
I love the dining room in the middle and the straight kitchen, dining and family room look. Im not big on the dark wood and Id definitely add a fireplace in the family room.
All these mobile homes are missing one thing... a front closet .in the living room by the front door when you come in for coats and boots and umbrellas and stuff
Not all are missing that. There are several plans with that feature. It can also be added to many of the others.. but, that's a good point.. thanks for commenting.
When I look at a home I notice all the small things that people over look the outlet on the island is not straight when buying any kind of home make sure you look at the small stuff you will find things are not straight and people are in a hurry putting things in homes I grant you it’s a wonderful home but for the money your spending make sure outlets are straight corners and window seals are right cabinets are straight wood floors are not paper open the blinds and look around the windows a lot of times it’s just extra thin material that is left over make sure all the baseboards are not thin and they match and they are square with the room
Would have preferred bedroom was furnished.
Lighting ls bad to dark.
Would prefer Gray or White cabinets, the flooring be gray.
It's a challenge to get the lighting right while shooting the videos with my cell phone.. sorry for the inconvenience.
Base price?
Base price will be low 120s
Needs a fireplace...get rid of all carpeting...stainless appliances...on the walls are terrible! Please do these gorgeous homes in drywall!
I would get rid of the “den” and make one large living room and a larger master with walk in closet.
What are the plastic strips running down the walls?
This home was displayed with the vinyl covered sheet rock. Those panels are put up and the trim pieces added to cover seams. You can get the traditional textured walls in the living, dining, family, and master bedroom areas.
Why no show 6 bedroom mobile home
Do you ship to NYS??
I'm sorry to say we do not.
Dear sir, do you know if this home is available in middle Tennessee? I absolutely love it and I have farm land in middle Tennessee. Kindest regards!
😯Loving this home!🤩
Can the cabinet color in the master bath be white?👍
The kitchen and dinning is fine open, but I don't like it open from the kitchen to the living room. I seen a beautiful home, but the dang thing was all open. it's 1M,four bedrooms three bathrooms. it's big and it's a real house, not fabricated.
The outlet on the end of the island looks crooked. Cannot watch the rest....
How much for something like this
This home typically has a base price around 115k
Decent layout. The pantry door opens from the wrong side. Should be an easy fix. Not a fan of the walls. I prefer drywall. In the kitchen I like upper cupboards to go all the way up to the ceiling without those silly display areas.
Thanks for the tips!
Main attraction (master bedroom) should always be last to see!
Can you send me a floor plan, and other info on this one? I do no need 5 bedrooms, but love this. My daughter needs 5 bedrooms, so send a couple. If you tell me you can send it, I’ll give address.
Yes it's be very pleased to send to you. Email me at billw@oakcreekhomes.com
Well, for all this house offer with it being a 5Bdrm, 3Bath plus a Den it is not bad at all. Being that the Kitchen & Pantry is on the smaller side that extra space in the Utility Room, I would instore more shelving there for extra Pantry space. I would designed the shelves to where I still can put my chest size freezer in there as well. The Master Bedroom Closet is a joke that is such a big disappointment, there is no way my clothes plus shoes will fit in there together let alone to be shared with my husband as well! 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️
Not near enough kitchen for a family big enough to need 5 bedrooms. Just saying
Ikr but the living room could be used as a dining room.
That middle countertop has to go
I don't like the way you rushed through the home. Completely missed one bedroom. Slow down,
I don't like it living room Philips overtime can't even put a 3-piece living room stand in it.......
A little too dark
You can choose different decor
Outside color is horrible.
If you want to sell a home, use real wooden shelves, not wire racks it's tacky.
The outside is really ugly
There's nothing fancy about this mobile home...Alot of areas just screams cheaply made..
