the king is back!! great to see you again, pierre! this is my *5th Life Log* (yes, that's what i'm calling these now haha) under your videos and so much has happened in the time you've been gone. but no wonder you were gone for so long, Itaewon looks absolutely wonderful, in a way it reminds me of the Bahamas. i've only been there once on a cruise with my family, but the shops you visited have the same homey vibe i got when looking around some of the shops in the Bahamas, and i had a strong feeling of déjà vu while watching, haha. my parents just got back home from a 9 day long trip to see a concert near Yellowstone. i didn't end up going but i did have my girlfriend come over for a few days, since i hadn't seen her in person for a long while, and we had a lot of fun! we were planning on having our friend over, but he ended up not being able to come, so it was just us for a few days, but i didn't mind one bit. to be honest i forgot just how nice it is to have someone to hug every once in a while. she's the love of my life and i never want to lose her, ever. 💙 (and to any commenters that may read this and get sad from this, just know you aren't going to be alone forever!! i believe in you, and i just know you'll find the love of your life and that they'll fall for you!!) it's been a while and in that time i've done a lot! i managed to get a team together for a project based on the Paper Mario series that i've had in mind for almost a year now. i got inspired by the recent reveal of a remake of The Thousand Year Door, and i've finally gotten around to making it a reality now that i have a team of people who are interested! this week was a bit busy so i wasn't able to get too much done for it, what with juggling some personal and freelance stuff, but everyone working on it seems to be really passionate about it and to be honest they've already done more than i could've imagined. so much more is possible with this team, and ideas that i thought were only faraway wishes are slowly becoming a reality thanks to them and their work! as for some other stuff i talked about in my last life log, the New Super Mario Bros. Wii playthrough with my friends has gotten further along. we're at world 6 now, and outside of some issues with planning it's been just as fun as ever. i forgot how much i enjoyed platformers for a while. and speaking of Mario, i also ended up borrowing my girlfriend's copy of Super Mario 3D All Stars and am playing through Super Mario Galaxy 1! i only ever played the second game, but it's been a whole new experience playing through the 1st. i'm planning on giving Super Mario Sunshine a go in the future as well, but i can only focus on so much at once, haha. but that's all from me. i hope you enjoyed your time in Seoul, and i hope that many people who can come to Itaewon will come and discover it's beauty! it's such a nice little spot and you really showed just how nice of a place it really is :3
