I’m 18 minutes into this video and I’m loving every minute so far. I order 465142 this Apollo with that same spec silver flat medium trigger. Skied. Now back to the video.
I am lucky to do a Bill/build drill in 3 seconds , The Blake drill 3 different targets in 2 seconds is insane on the bare drill you use slide release no sling shot , slide release , just a preference or slide release is just faster , wish I had time on range with someone like you , I cannot afford a beautiful Atlas , but I will get a SAS2. pro tac 5 inch model
@@martyyoung3611 I think I do too. I just don’t know if a comp gun is as flat as they say it is, this ported stuff seems pretty cool too but again I’m still on the fence.
@@mliler1405 The Erebus is AMAZING. I've got two and they were my absolute favorite pistols to run... until I shot the Apollo. This is my new favorite.
I don't know if you are the guy to ask but how would you rate it on a scale 0 to 10??? I have one on order and talking to the guys at Atlas they assured me that its the best thing since the Erebus..! Talk to me...😎
It's a 10/10 for sure. Am I biased? Sure. But I can tell you this, I could shoot any pistol in the world, and I choose Atlas. To take it one step further, I chose the Apollo even over my Erebus!
@@Joe_Farewell That's what I want to hear I am a bit bias due to the fact that it would be my first Atlas and having a bunch of questions and listening to Atlas employees now you saying what you said I'm hyped. One more thing...Make sure you mention that on your next review on the Apollo bruh!😎
It would be more cost effective to sell the Athena you have and get a Apollo. The slide cuts on the Athena don't allow extra space for the porting. Cutting into a Athena slide would make the gun unattractive and thus devalue the gun significantly.
Cool? Sure, but imagine not retailing out a LH grip module build and not letting someone send their current set up in and pay for it to be paired to the frame
it’s basically a ported Athena. The introduction of the apollo is basically giving the customer the choice. Want a ported gun or not? Mfs always wanna yap and complain
Contextually, it’s important to understand something when an American complains about a high end manufacturer offering another gun option to their customers: it’s an American problem. Out of 8.13 billion people on this Earth, 333.29 million have this freedom to pick and choose the highest tier firearm available. Most other citizens can best hope for is to wait a year or so for someone to build a replica that fires plastic airsoft pellets. Something to think about.
Awesome video man, thanks for the content. Appreciate just being there having fun showing the good with the bad.

Just ordered my Apollo three days ago. Still got a year to go until I receive mine. Very excited for it. Kinda need to forget I ordered it.
Freaking awesome video bruh. On to the next one. Saving this one to watch over and over until my Apollo is delivered 😮
Hahaha that's like smelling the cookies until they finally come out of the oven!
@@Joe_Farewell wow yes.🤣🤣🤣

Some of the best looking guns out there that aren’t 100% custom. I would argue there just as good if not better then a custom DS 1911.
just take my money pls! I got my Erebus, now I m hooked
My wallet says stick with the shadows 😂
Would be awesome if us presents could get our hands on one in a timeframe that’s less than 6-12 months
What is the make /model of the holster you are running?
I’d love to see this done with the ibis or the nemesis. I’m kind of stuck between the two right now.
The Nemesis is the one I want.

I bought an Artemis, Erebus and Athena. The Erebus shot the best. The Athena is my favorite. Didn't care for the Artemis
@@HoldTheLineDefenseSolutions that’s what I needed to know. I think the Erebus is the one for me, thanks!

Glad to see a competitive shooter made errors also and dont hide it

Where can I find Joe's drill targets?
Dude beat that thing off so much, he had a negligent discharge.
Anyone know what brand belt he’s using?
802!!
Does not put you in Open for IDPA. TONS of XCs in IDPA
Could you swap in an Athena barrel to run limited optics?
It would need to be fitted
@@AtlasGunworks That could be a great upsale opportunity when ordering one!
I guess since I’m watching this I’m not just poor…I’m Poe🤣🤣
So is it worth getting my Athenas slide and barrel ported? Id have the apollo at that point.

Mine will not run hollow points
Is it just me or is he drawing before the timer goes off several times
Which times?
Yep Fancy Toy! If so great, why arent more military special operations using them?!
Lot of repeat video
Fucking so much non-substantive talk. Pass
Meh, ported. Can't use with USPSA. fancy toy but that's about it
It's more of an all rounder per Atlas. It does fit Into IDPA and PCSL pretty neatly tho
Just run open division

😂😂😂 all their guns well over 5k. Yeah. On a handgun? Nah. Makes Staccato look budget.
It's like how buying a $250k Ferrari makes a brand new Corvette look budget... There's levels to this game.
