At time 5:36 you screwed in the fittings into the valve system. My return does not have threads! it comes with the fittings but they wont screw into the valve selector. Help please!
I think it's actually 1 and 1/4 to 1 and 1/2 . According to the conversion kit on Amazon, it says they fit this kind of pool .(Bestway).....The measurements he mentioned aren't returning any results
Hey Paul ! So my pump is leaking from underneath the little engine and with it making a lot of noise. It all works just the water now is leaking out from under the little engine that intakes the water to the pump

Mine is not the 16in. I have the 3/4 HP pump. Mine did not come with that fan blade looking thing that goes inside. Just the white tube and the base on it. Is that normal?
You have the same system as mine. Just emptied the leaf basket but am having problems resealing twist cover without leaking. Not sure how the gaskets fits back. Any help appreciated. Jim
Yes, I purchased an adapter for the holes that helped connect and also change from sand to filter balls. Check out my other channel for the product I purchased to upgrade this.
I suggest use a 24 hour timer... plug the timer into the outlet; plug the pump power cord into the timer. Set the timer to the correct time, then how many hours per day you want your pump to operate.
Hi Paul, if you have to decide between the intex Krystal clear 16 inch and this one, what would you decide? I have a bestway 18'×48" Above pool and I'm in the process of buying another filter which one do you recommend me?
I am going nuts! I have the 14 inch vevor pump and I can't get the converters to screw into my outlet piece on the side of the pump for the hosing to go into the filter. I got the connectors so that I can use my intex plumbing and it won't work on the filter because the opening is 1 1/2 and so is the converter. What do I get so that it can work. I am ready to scream
I would not recommend Vevor pool pumps or filters. Their customer service is terrible, and if you have to file a warranty claim, you'll be sorry. I had a bad experience with their sand filter pump. It was defective, and I had to return it. Their customer service was so bad that I finally had to file a claim with my credit card company. That was a lot of trouble, and I would not recommend Vevor to anyone.
Hey All! - When filling your sand filter and want to know how high… The top of the sand is your filter surface area - so where the top of the sand filter vessel starts to narrow… don’t go past that!
@@Upgradetech I found the answer the time you turn it own will turn on. For example if you set it up at 8 in the morning and have it in 4 hrs it will stop at 12. the following day it will start again at 8 the following day talk to vevor and they send me the instructions and works

Probably already solved this but you'll need a 1.25 hose to 1.5 inch adapter to screw into the filter

Are you getting any sand in the pool? I followed the direction in the manual and using #20 sand.

About 2, depending on your pool, because some pools don't have the 1 1/2 for water out
my pump is leaking i don’t understand y washer put in correctly n i put that tape on there to stop leaking n it’s still leaking
The seal inside might be broken or not palace correctly, I personally had this issues when I first setup.

Why is the sand going back through the return?
Have you done a back wash to clear the sand you have to do this at least one every two weeks
