Poor boy if I ain’t mistaken I believe that is a 3/4 hp by that being a 750 model but I may be wrong have a great day my friend
The Snad Pro 75D I had was a 3/4 HP. This VEVOR is 1 HP 750W 3500GPH.... and it made a big difference in my skimmer suction and running the Polaris65 pool vac. much better.
So I sold my house with inground pool and I took pump to add to friend's above ground pool. It's 1.5 HP will it be too much lol. My pool was 28,000 gallons this is a 1,000 gallons I believe. The pump that came with hers is awful. .07 hp
Just noticed she has same pool as you. Just gotta figure out a filter now. I could not remove mine.
Depends on how much water per minute it pimps, you can over do it.
If you have a=the pump I tink you can buy just a filter tank.
I just want to thank you for sharing this video. I bought a Vevor 10” sand pump and I’m having the hardest time hooking it up due to the fittings and hoses. After 2 returns of various parts I think I’ve finally figured it out. I’m trying to hook it up to the Summer Waves pool with the skimmer/filter combo. Papaw Rocks! 😊
I think ever pool has a different style of hook ups, make things difficult for sure.
Flip your t-tape roll over, it will work much easier for ya.. great job, explaining the whole deal, I read some reviews complaining about instructions.. yours are just fine by me..

Can you tell me what type of skimmer that is? Did you attach it to the hole that was already there?
That is the Intex Deluce Pool Skimmer. It hooks to one of the B Ports (water going to the pump). which the other day I did some of my own plumbing and got mine connected to both B ports on this pool. If you going to have a skimmer like this and a Polaris 65 pool Vacuum this 1HP VEVOR Sand Filter pump is doing the job much better than the 3.4 HP pump I did have.
I had a Hayward 24ft above ground pool my steel frame rusted so i bought a bestway, do you know what i need to use my hayward pump and sand filter on one of these pools? 16:45

Hi! I was wondering if you could help me. I just bought this pump but it’s leaking at the skimmer basket. I can’t figure out how the O ring is supposed to fit in there.
That O-ring is hard to get to seal sometimes.
The flat side faces up and I use a peace of wood stake as a leverage handle to tighten the basket lid down.
That's the only thing I don't like about this pump is the o-ring .
The 12 inch doesn't have the internal threading at the top of the filter for hoses. Clamp only. So I can't screw in an adapter to convert to threaded and all the 1.5 clamp hoses I have bought don't fit. Makes zero sense. There are plenty of adapters that convert a 1.25 clamp to a 1.5 threaded. But does anyone have a link for 1.5 clamp to 1.5 threaded ???

Just finished installing the vevor 14 inch sand filter pump. The return to the pool is terrible 1.5 threadless fitting. I connected to a extension cord press the on button..... Nothing pump won't turn on. Lol any suggestions?

I have a bestway max 18x48. Would this work? Im looking at the 14in, but wonding if we should go the size u have. It will be our 1st sand filter.
I don't see why it wouldn't work. I can't speak for the 14" since I've never had one.

Still doing great. The gasket in the strainer is a little aggravating when cleaning the basket but other than that, it's working out fine.

Did u ever figure out the timer I have that model and I’m not sure how it works yet.
You can set it to run one time (forever how many hours you want) and never come back on until you manually turn it back on. OR you can set it to run for (ever how many hours you want) and it will come back on at that same time each day for the hours you set.
@@papawsplace so how do you set it to come on at the same time everyday
Hold down the timer button until the LAST Light ( past the 24 hour light) is off, then set the time you want it to run and then hit start. After that it should come on and run at the same time every day. But if your electricity goes off it has to be set all over again. If the last light is on when you hit start, it will run one time and will not run again until you start the pump manually.

Have you had any problems with it blowing sand into the pool? Read alot of negative comments saying it does and im really interested in purchasing this exact pump for my 18x 48 pool.
I have had no issues with it. I have to wonder are they using the correct sand and are they Rinsing long enough after backwashing the pump.
Caused by cracked laterals in the bottom of the sand tank. They want crazy prices for them. None for Bestway though. I had no luck finding them for my Bestway, so I switched to this model. Bestway lasted two summers by the way until I started to get sand in my pool. Started to watch videos for why it was happening. Everyone said cracked laterals meaning the spiderweb looking thing in the bottom of the sand tank. So, I looked at the manual for my Bestway unit and yes, they break t down and show parts numbers but for the life of me I could not find parts for my Bestway so I gave up and bought a Vevor. Waiting for delivery. Hoping the hoses I have will connect.

I have the same problem with the different size fitting too hoping they sell that in a local store if not have to order online
I would not recommend Vevor pool pumps or filters. Their customer service is terrible, and if you have to file a warranty claim, you'll be sorry. I had a bad experience with their sand filter pump. It was defective, and I had to return it. Their customer service was so bad that I finally had to file a claim with my credit card company. That was a lot of trouble, and I would not recommend Vevor to anyone.
I've had good luck with everything I have from VEVOR but I've never had to deal with customer service though.
Vevor warranty is a joke/crime. They do not stand behind it at all. Even within 30 days they offer you a small fraction of your cost in refund. and want you to keep the pool pump.
