Where do you not want the attacker to be able to access (what parts of the pitch), etc. Very impressive high levels of successful tackling btw, mainly because the attacker was forced onto the defender's strong stick at just the right moment. Good tackle timing too.

kevin D I like kookaburra but most sticks are ok. A stick is a stick. It is how good your techniques are, which is important. For example, a low bow helps A LOT with aerials but having a good aerial technique is much more important. A low bow helps you to move the ball more easily when ball is on left side of your body. It will make keeping the ball flat on hits more difficult though. I like a mid bow - it is a good, balanced stick profile. Make your technique good, not buy a stick that makes up for it 😉

Really should be able to push over third to half a pitch width. Slap or hit for longer or faster passes. Depends on how slow the pitch is too (e.g. is it quite sandy or dry) and how urgently you need to get the ball to your team mate.
