I worked a job that when you logged out that started your lunch break which was 30 minutes..I went up to the restaurant and ordered the special cause it was easy to dish out..they were so busy..waitress asked me if I wanted it to go..I would have been 5mins late back to work..told her no I'm going to sit here and enjoy my meal..I was a half hour late from my lunch break..same punishment if your 5mins late or 30mins..so first time in a long time I enjoyed my lunch and signed my write up with a smile on my face 😊

This song is Steve's own personal story about two people named Joe, his brother and his uncle Joe. The first part of the song is based on his brother, who tours with him while he's in Nashville. While Steve was playing shows across the country, his brother always seemed to be late. His Uncle Joe, his mother's little brother, was the mayor of Clarksdale and wanted to be the governor of Mississippi. He was never able to do so because when he was 35 he died from cancer
