I'm probably the quietest person in the world, so yes most of these are true, especially the 'analysing and thinking' thing before speaking. But what really bothers me is when I'm quiet ( as usual ) and someone asks me 'What's wrong with you?'. Nothing at all is wrong with me....it's like being in a state of meditation all the time. But unfortunately we live in a society where talking is everything. What quiet people wonder is why people talk so much? Sometimes other people talking just sounds like noise ( known as misophonia ). I can listen to a person talk for about 15 minutes before I start getting irritated. With all the people that talk way too much in the world, we need a lot more quiet people lol.

I’ve also always been the quiet kid in the back of the class and one time I got so mad at someone and the entire class stopped what they were doing just so they could actually hear me talk (more like yell) at the kid who was yelling back. I noticed that everyone along with the teacher was staring at me. Only a few people in the class have actually gotten into a conversation with me and everyone else has either 1. Just heard me say hello and my name 2. Has overheard me in a conversation with someone or 3. Has never heard me talk and only knows my name because someone else said it. Then I just continued with my work. I think I was like 12 at the time. That day was _so_ awkward.

All of these statements are true. I’m a quiet person, and the one thing that hurts me the most is when someone says I’m weird for being quiet or that I should stop being quiet. I got very insecure about it, I wanted to be outgoing, but honestly, I enjoy being quiet. I like being alone and independent :)

Sometimes he sounds more intelligent than Bill Gates & Stephen Hawking! But of course, when it comes to dating or consulting others, he’s a great listener. I have a very quiet spirit to me. There are times when I talk but I am mostly quiet and observant. I noticed that people who like to talk a lot usually don't have anything to really say or they are trying to impress you. People who talk too much and always try to out talk you or speak over you don't learn accurate information because they don't know how to listen. They are always ready to talk and interrupt and cut you off in the middle of a sentence. I never talk to people first. I always let them start a conversation and move their lips first so I can study them. I usually give 2 or three words at the most. People who talk a lot are mostly full of shit. Wow! I am a quiet person. I finally see a video that knows about how I truly am. Cool. It's true. We do think a lot. And when people talk about something that I can learn from then I am all ears. But when people talk about nothing for over 10 or 15 minutes, then I do change my face and start to walk away without saying anything because I am done listening. I did that to my roommate once. She was talking about BS for too long when I wanted to have breakfast with her. So I just got up and say, "Ok." and walked away. After that, she started to talk less because I figured her out and she saw that I would call-out her bluffs. When someone say, Sorry or forgive me more than 5 times, don't believe it. They just want a reaction, but just give them a response only. Less talking is better. One more thing, we do talk a lot only if the subject is interesting or it's about a hobby that we like. Also remember we don't like gossiping because it is a waste of time about other people's life. I saw so many times how gossip people gossip. If they gossip about someone, remember they are gossiping and complaining about you too. Don't be part of them. Run away from them.
I learn more about silence when i go abroad and work, the more you keep quiet the more ur safe of everything. Because the more you talk a lot the more u will in danger.

In my adolescence I was very quiet observant person. During middle school and high school I tried the socializing extrovert persona. It gained me a lot of rewards😅. Being silent and observant is my true nature. The bliss of solitude is enthralling.
When you’re an introvert stuck in situation with a flock of extroverts mashing about, chatting up and yelling bubbles and you also notice that one introvert keeping to themselves. Sweet bliss of comfort oof. It’s like you guys both silently acknowledge each others being without even needing to interact. But yeah, also what most extroverts doesn’t seem to understand is that while their thinking we’re probably spaced out or inattentive…we’re actually listening to you and very observant. So yeah, even if you don’t realize it , IF I don’t seem to not bother talking to you, it’s probably because we’ve already seen enough of your character to have made, usually a judgement about you. Which you portrayed by your own actions and are probably just unaware of how YOU come off. I’ve had extroverts bother me before like “why are you so quiet?” “Are you okay?” Or in general try to butt into my personal life, but all I can think is “and why do I want to talk to you, or why should I? I just listened to you spout a bunch of bullshit to someone else for 10-15minutes and talked shit about others, and now I’m supposed to want to interact with you? Anyhow, the way I see it. Yep, number 1 is one of the main reasons I'm quiet because of past experiences. All these reasons are why I'm quiet. I hate when people tell me quiet people are dangerous. Very offended and wished they would be more open to get to know me better rather than prejudging me for it.
Well you're absolutely right about me. However, I get bullied ( not sure if it is bullying) and teased by classmates and sometime teachers in highschool for being too quiet. I see some people that dont talk alot in my class but I have to say, mostly 98% of them are extroverts. One kid told me that if you're quiet and you dont co-operate with classmates then you're weird and labeled "strange". I'm more active in the house though because I hate highschool. I like writing and one time, there was a story i made for my best friend (based on our friendship) and it got leaked. from 3-5 people to the teachers knowing it. It was based on our personality and I loved it because they were true. Everyone loved it and told me to add them in the story and talk about our daily lives as classmates. Then, intern teachers came. My loyal reader came up to him and made him read one of my chapters. The intern smiled and told him it was beautiful. The loyal reader pointed at me that I was the author and it made me blush. I really love writing now not because of I know that I love it, but now I want to do it because some people actually loved my shit. And that's kinda enough.

I'm myself a quiet person. While I many not be a jolly lad, certainly I'm not a killjoy and some people have indeed acknowledged this about me. However, what I notice is quiet nature is frowned upon and people judge you as if there is something wrong with you. When I don't express something in a certain situation, people even go to the extent of saying that you are not a "normal human being". This lack of social acceptance really hurts me. Being quiet is very natural to my being and having to push myself out of that zone does make me tired.

As the saying goes: "Silence is golden" I am a quiet person for sure. I'm a very good listener and I can converse with people on many different things even if it's small talk. Those who know me well say that I don't speak up or that I'm not "assertive" when situations arise out of nowhere. Quiet people don't like conflict. I often don't say what's on my mind either because I don't have the words to express them or it could be that I don't like starting trouble. Being quiet is a good thing because it helps you to think. Like my father says to my mother, "Shhh!! Be quiet Lorine!! I can't hear myself think!!" When someone asks me a question I don't blurt out an answer right away. Instead I ponder on the question until I'm ready to answer. You avoid any unnecessary problems when you think before you speak. I may be quiet but that doesn't mean I don't know what is going on around me. I am fully aware of my surroundings and I'm a very intuitive person. Yes I do have my own friends but the circle of friends is very close and small. I love being a quiet person and I think that other people should learn to understand us (not that we care because most quiet people don't).

The main thing in any remotely serious conversation is to really LISTEN to the other person and don't just be waiting for your turn to speak. And try not to turn conversation back around to yourself and your experiences. Sometimes this is useful to show you can relate to their experience but often it's annoying.

When you’re an introvert stuck in situation with a flock of extroverts mashing about, chatting up and yelling bubbles and you also notice that one introvert keeping to themselves. Sweet bliss of comfort oof.
It’s like you guys both silently acknowledge each others being without even needing to interact.
But yeah, also what most extroverts doesn’t seem to understand is that while their thinking we’re probably spaced out or inattentive…we’re actually listening to you and very observant. So yeah, even if you don’t realize it , IF I don’t seem to not bother talking to you, it’s probably because we’ve already seen enough of your character to have made, usually a judgement about you. Which you portrayed by your own actions and are probably just unaware of how YOU come off.
I’ve had extroverts bother me before like “why are you so quiet?” “Are you okay?” Or in general try to butt into my personal life, but all I can think is “and why do I want to talk to you, or why should I? I just listened to you spout a bunch of bullshit to someone else for 10-15minutes and talked shit about others, and now I’m supposed to want to interact with you?
Anyhow, the way I see it. It’s like going into war and you’ve already decided to show everyone your game plan and your intentions, or playing cards and you’ve decided to show your own hand to the table prior to beginning the game. I always formulate an opinion about someone only after I’ve listened to their opinions.

Yep, number 1 is one of the main reasons I'm quiet because of past experiences. All these reasons are why I'm quiet. I hate when people tell me quiet people are dangerous. Very offended and wished they would be more open to get to know me better rather than prejudging me for it.

Well you're absolutely right about me. However, I get bullied ( not sure if it is bullying) and teased by classmates and sometime teachers in highschool for being too quiet. I see some people that dont talk alot in my class but I have to say, mostly 98% of them are extroverts. One kid told me that if you're quiet and you dont co-operate with classmates then you're weird and labeled "strange". I'm more active in the house though because I hate highschool. Never like cooperating with kids that pick on me and most of the time I lose self esteem and get depressed. I'm socially awkward and shy because of this. So I ended up not talking too loud.
It's important to find people close to you that accept you in that situation

I like writing and one time, there was a story i made for my best friend (based on our friendship) and it got leaked. from 3-5 people to the teachers knowing it. It was based on our personality and I loved it because they were true. Everyone loved it and told me to add them in the story and talk about our daily lives as classmates. Then, intern teachers came. My loyal reader came up to him and made him read one of my chapters. The intern smiled and told him it was beautiful. The loyal reader pointed at me that I was the author and it made me blush. I really love writing now not because of I know that I love it, but now I want to do it because some people actually loved my shit. And that's kinda enough.

I like this video a lot, because yesterday, a young guy who I never make trouble with started babbling and talking crap about me. He said, "Nate doesn't talk much because he was abused as a kid.". Then, later started telling me how big my nose was, etc.

I'm myself a quiet person. While I many not be a jolly lad, certainly I'm not a killjoy and some people have indeed acknowledged this about me.
However, what I notice is quiet nature is frowned upon and people judge you as if there is something wrong with you. When I don't express something in a certain situation, people even go to the extent of saying that you are not a "normal human being". This lack of social acceptance really hurts me. Being quiet is very natural to my being and having to push myself out of that zone does make me tired.

As the saying goes: "Silence is golden" I am a quiet person for sure. I'm a very good listener and I can converse with people on many different things even if it's small talk. Those who know me well say that I don't speak up or that I'm not "assertive" when situations arise out of nowhere. Quiet people don't like conflict. I often don't say what's on my mind either because I don't have the words to express them or it could be that I don't like starting trouble. Being quiet is a good thing because it helps you to think. Like my father says to my mother, "Shhh!! Be quiet Lorine!! I can't hear myself think!!" When someone asks me a question I don't blurt out an answer right away. Instead I ponder on the question until I'm ready to answer. You avoid any unnecessary problems when you think before you speak. I may be quiet but that doesn't mean I don't know what is going on around me. I am fully aware of my surroundings and I'm a very intuitive person. Yes I do have my own friends but the circle of friends is very close and small. I love being a quiet person and I think that other people should learn to understand us (not that we care because most quiet people don't).

The main thing in any remotely serious conversation is to really LISTEN to the other person and don't just be waiting for your turn to speak. And try not to turn conversation back around to yourself and your experiences. Sometimes this is useful to show you can relate to their experience but often it's annoying.
