Just bought one and I'm really impressed with it. It was a factory-refurbished straight from Panasonic so it's been through Quality Control twice and you just can't tell it's not new.
Absolutely amazing photography, thank you for sharing your fabulous work. I have just purchased this camera, hopefully I will get some good results, I have got my daughters wedding to attend and take photos, hope I can get some good photographs for them to remember and for myself. Thanks again, regards.
Thank you. So many u tubers post samples post editing and you don’t get to tell what the camera is capable of doing. I just ordered the fz80 and can’t wait to see what it can do.
Ich hätte da noch eine Frage: wie sieht es bei der Kamera mit der über bzw. Unterbelichtung aus? Und wie kann man dies bei dieser Kamera einstellen wenn die Bilder überbelichtet sind?
ordered it today with some coupons from my local electronic store for less than 250, brand new. will arrive in a couple days but i think the price/quality/ZOOM is a good starting point for a first dedicated camera. its gonna be quite the upgrade from shooting shitty smartphone pictures for sure :D
Lol. Same for me. I'm getting one tomorrow usedthough, paying $150. It will come with a tripod, sd card, and extra battery. It'll be my first real camera. I was thinking of getting a budget DSLR but decided against that. After all, you need to learn to walk before you can run
@@beast11135 well, i actually ended up returning mine. the noise in the images was just too much. the big zoom is a fun feature or "gimmick" but i went for an entry level dslr then after all. the nikon d3500. i shot plenty of great pictures with it though it is gonna end up costing way more because of lenses. this year i then upgraded to the nikon d500 since i was reaching limitations in what i wanted to shoot, mainly the autofocus system for my birding needs. this hobby is just way too expensive :D
I am Bird photographer. I am very happy with my Canon Powershot sx510 hs. But it has 30x optical zoom instead 60x Like in this. 12 mpx instead of 18 Like Here. This camera (lumix) is twice more expensive than my Canon. Is it worth money for me ? I mean will i see a difference and upgrade ? Or is it not worth to buy Lumix dz82 when j already have Canon Powershot sx510 hs ?
I bought Panasonic Lumix FZ38 in 2009. Theres a bottom text Made in Japan. The camera is still like new. I have the original battery also in it. It cost about 300$. It was very good quality/price ratio at time, with HD video and 12,1mpx, Leica optics, 18x optical zoom. The camera still takes better pictures than Samsung Xcover(s), LG G4, Redmi note Pro. Well I must admit that LG G4 STILL has amazing camera. The zoom, lightning and colors is much better in real camera. Everything is easily manually adjustable by button, focus, zoom, light etc. If you wanna seriously photograph anything it is miminum requirement you buy these cheap cameras because their features beats the phones easily. Phones are ofc good substitute for pocket cameras but for serious photographing I don't recommend ANY phonecamera.
thanks very much for the video. It helped me decide to buy the fz82 as my first camera as I began vlogging my travels. The videos are on my channels if you are interested in seeing!
for the price of the camera it has a lot of impressive capabilities and for a beginner I would really recommend this camera. however the video quality is not very good because of the bad dynamic range, the horrible flare and most of the footage looks oversharpened. the photo quality is better but you can't change lenses on the camera and the 2.8 aperture is only at 20mm wide so at low light this camera is trash and you can't get blurred background effects etc. So if you only want to use this camera for personal use like filming your vacations I would recommend it but if you're going for professional use I would go for a DSLR or another camera.
Hey I'm using this camara at the moment and can't seem so set a focus with the backround blurred? How did you do the scene with the Christmas lights where you go from unfocused to focused?
To get a blurred background it helps to get closer to your subject and move it further away from your background. Also, you need to get the widest aperture possible. Another trick is to zoom in on your subject. To get a shot from unfocused to focused you need to use manual focus:)
Thanks for that I'll give it a go. I'm just a bit surprised as my little compact Lumix is brilliant in low light and I thought the FZ82 would be just as good in these conditions but obviously not.
@@angelaradford3580 which lumix do you have. I'm looking at the sony hx99 but I'm also interested in one of the Panasonic compact zooms but not sure which.
@@letni9506 hi. I have two one is a bridge camera DC-FZ82 but I still love my little compact DMC-TZ35. I have had it for quite a long time whereas the bridge not so long. I have always been so amazed at the quality of the photographs that I get with it, It even has a setting to photograph through glass and it works which is amazing. I do a lot of art work in mixed media and like to photograph as I go along to create tutorials and to be honest I do quite a lot at night and I can tell you this little camera is brilliant in low light when set on HDR. Now I know that they do the same camera with sightly different settings so watch out for the code numbers. I suspect they may be even better now.
I often shoot in manual video mode. I try to get the aperture as big as possible and the shutter speed around 1/50 (if I'm shooting at 25fps). To get your video exposed you need to upper the ISO but that will cause noise and worse quality so you need to keep it as low as possible.
I filmed every shot in full-hd at 25 fps except the slow-motion shots. The other settings were depending on the situation. The time-lapses are made using the built-in time-lapse mode.
Yes, I still think it is a great camera because it has very much options. The only downside I realized is that this camera doesn't have interchangeable lenses, so you can't expand your camera. But for this price, it's a really good deal!
There is a conversion lens for telephoto and one for wide angle mentioned in the manual. If you get either or both of these, I suspect your public would enjoy knowing your impressions.
If you become familiar with the various modes, you can actually get the 35mm equivalent telephoto on the FZ-80/82 up to over 6,000mm. Just using the Intelligent Auto, Intelligent Zoom, and Digital Zoom, you get up to 3,300mm without even having to think about it. This is NOT a low light camera however, as it has the smallest sensor on the planet! Don't get this camera if you want to take pictures of the Milky Way, or Auroras!
Perfect video: Short, diversified and straight to the point!

Do you think this thing is good for my first dslr camera? I want good quality and frames, focus but not too expensive x

does the ois stabilization works with 1080p video?

What do you find is the best setting for low light indoors.
This camera is unfortunately not very good at low light situations, but I think you can get the best quality by keeping the ISO as low as possible.
