Meilleur pianiste au monde : cela ne veut rien dire. C'était un immense musicien et un être humain extraordinairement intéressant. Maintenant il existe non pas 1, non pas 10 mais des centaines de pianistes tout aussi intéressants, doués, créatifs. Mais chacun trace sa route originale.

The bassist perfectly played well along with Michel's virtuousness, especially in the musical piece, Estate. I never get tired of listening to Michel's albums. One of the best jazz pianists of a lifetime! Hard to believe he is gone.

En esta oportunidad con una formación para mi gusto un tanto extraña cuando el brilla absolutamente en trio con contrabajo (no bajo electrico) y batería.
Memorable su trio con Miroslav Vitous y Steve Gadd.
