Thanks for this video and review. I bought this when i got tired of buying crappy pill cutters for my medicine. I couldn't figure out how to get the blade in nor how to close it. Your video is very helpful. Based on your review showing that the blade doesn't lock in the down position, I decided I should probably remove the blade after use; I will store these safely out of the way from my grandchildren! Have a great day!
I have heard of that term and seen it around some. That's crazy though, Stanley has some great knives, but I usually hear utility knife here in the US more. That's a cool term for them for sure and shows how much Stanley pioneered the concept. Please hit me up with a subscribe if you don't mind. I'll have more utility knives reviews coming soon.
I didn't know that a folding Stanley was uncommon. I have a folding Stanley from Lowes. Bought it about 5 years ago. Black plastic grips and pocket clip, steel inside. Pretty durable so far. I think it was around $6.
This knife is junk. Loks great out of the pakage but falls apart. Ive hasd to tighten/rebuild it 10 plus times since bought in Nov 2023. Milwaukee Fast Back is a much better knife.
Another made in China crap! I bought the knit because it looked good but it’s the worse folding design ever. I am not even sure it’s safe to put it in my pocket.
Thank you for this video. I had no idea it came with the hidden blade and how to close it 😂. Got mine at Home Depot for $8 in Canada, 2023.

This is a good little knife. Compact and nice and light. Doesn't take up too much room in your pockets.
Thanks for video. Couldn't figure out how to close it....until now 👍
Sweet, glad to help! Please subscribe if you don't mind.
Same here
I just bought one & love it already. I do think a noticeable lock mechanism, but they should also have a place for storage for an extra blade.
Thanks for this. The information on the packaging is useless and I didn’t have a clue how to fold it back up until I watched your video.
Thanks for the once over truck guy new viewer and subscriber right here. I like your style and your presentation.

In the UK pretty much everyone calls utility knives, a stanley knife.

@@TheTruckGuy Why did I only just realize that's where the name came from haha

It's not super uncommon I guess. But certainly you'll see more Stanley fixed body knives.
I find my choose finally, thanks for video
no extra blade storage. i would go with the Milwaukee fastback plus it holds 5 more blades

button doesnt work, or blades wont go in for some reason, not to happy
I am going for it ! But closing ...
Found mine at Tractor Supply
For the price I’d rather have the folding makita.
