    I'm a bodybuilding show promoter for the OCB. Last year, I wanted to livestream my shows and learn to do it myself. I have come to your channel more times because of the clear direction and the easy-to-follow tutorials. You make it easy.
    Now, I am four weeks away from adding my overlays and bottom third. Your help makes it look incredible.
    So, thank you a bazillion times over.

    THANK YOU!!! I tried using Virtual Cable several years ago and never could get it to work. Your video showed me exactly where I was going wrong.

    Michael: Clear, concise and simple to implement. THis single dilemma is what stymies MANY people trying to output OBS over Zoom. GREAT JOB and THANK YOU!

      So when I’m in streamyard it’s taking the video only and the sounds are coming from my mic in streamyard?

    • @MichaelFeyrerJr
      @MichaelFeyrerJr  25 днів тому +2

      If thats how you set it up. If you arent using the virtual audio cable then yoe tou should add your mic directly to streamyard.

    Excellent free tutorial. It's worth mentioning that if someone has access to Elgato Wave Link software from a Wave Microphone, Wave XLR, or Stream Deck+ - that software will do this routing trivially.

    Can i use virtual camera to export my stream to another OBS on the WAN for input? Basically i want to join their strean as a camera.

  • @3namesjames
    @3namesjames 26 днів тому +1

    I use the same workflow to broadcast through OBS and Streamyard at the same time (OBS to my company's proprietary streamer, Streamyard to Facebook live). I find that the audio isn't sync'd with the video. To solve this I selected the "Low Latency Audio Buffering Mode" option in OBS settings.

    So good! Thank you!!!! How can you make sure that the resolution on the OBS Virtual Camera is decent. I tried doing a presentation/class using OBS, PowerPoint and Zoom, switching back and forth to different applications and screens. Unfortunately, everything that wasn't my camera was "grainy". I have a high powered internet connection, with plenty of up speed. If I share "native" (i.e. NOT through OBS) the resolution is fine. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for your time!

    • @MichaelFeyrerJr
      @MichaelFeyrerJr  25 днів тому

      I dont think you are doing anything wrong, I have heard people mention this many times. I think its something to do with the color source used by zoom. If you go into OBS advanced settings tab and then and then video, changing up these setting I have heard can fix the issue.

    Thanks for the video content...just as a heads up, for the discord issue with the content being backwards...this is normal for discord, but you wouldn't have to flip anything around as the viewers will see the content correctly...when you went back into OBS and flipped it backwards...it would look correct to you, BUT it would then officially be backwards for your discord viewers. 😅

  • @boggs2
    @boggs2 25 днів тому +1

    when you reverse the feed so you can see it correctly in discord, the viewers will see it backwards...discord gives you a mirrored version but sends out the correct version for the viewers...this is so you will not have a hard time orienting your head when looking or pointing to overlays...if you did an obs full screen projection and shared the monitor that has that full screen projection it would look normal to you and the viewers... you will be the only one that sees things backwards in discord if you use the camera button in discord.

  • @ChristopherUranga
    @ChristopherUranga 26 днів тому +2

    I’ve used the OBS Virtual Camera in discord, and although the preview is flipped, the person you are chatting with sees you normally. Idk why but you aren’t actually mirrored

    Does the same apply for the prism studio and is prisam better vs OBS ?

    • @chancethetechie
      @chancethetechie 26 днів тому +1

      Prism has viritual camera and the virtual audio cable is on the machine not the software. Process would be the same. Prism is OBS with extra features integrated. It won't be better or worse for this process.

      @@chancethetechie Thank you very much for taking the time to answer and if you don't mind, I have a follow up question. It is my observation that people make more videos about OBS vs Prism . Is one more stable or more developed vs the other?

    • @chancethetechie
      @chancethetechie 26 днів тому +1

      @@yankoyankov2752 Both are stable. Prism is a company that took OBS and added features and function is not built in to OBS. However, OBS has plugins that will do all of those things. OBS is updated often and will almost always run better on low powered systems because it does not need to run those extra processes. Prism tends to me more user friendly to those just starting, but I always recommend if you're serious to learn OBS.
