Why is it so satisfying watching him giving a tour to something I can't buy.
Maybe just because he does it so well? I dunno...LOL
Kosta Lazić because he does it so well and the yachts are beautiful 😀😀
We're never too old to dream my friend👍✌
@@GustavoLammerda do you have a cinema and a gym in your house ??
You can if you work hard my friend. Never give up on a dream.
After half a dozen beers you wouldn't notice the interior.
Might have to give that 'Shagpile' a trim though lol
Ha!! True!!
By the looks of this boat they’d be coors lights
so you're saying you like the soulless cheap ikea look then
The interior of this boat is fine, better condition then what I have seen in some houses in 2020
You summed it up perfectly, it truly is a home from home.
Dave it’s amazing 😀
Jordan Pritchard only if you like ugly homes
Used 2 Million Dollar yachts are showing up rather frequently, of late. It's like everybody decided to upgrade their yachting life all at once. So, for the newly wealthy, here is another wonderful vessel to add to your wide selection of custom "boats". Each of these "newly" used yachts are all very different as well. There can be no ranking put on this example, it's not only unique, it was well constructed and has obviously been nicely cared for its entire "life". Another entertaining tour from my favorite (only) yachting tour guide - Aquaholic...
I really like this boat and I would choose it over many of the showier ones. Thanks for giving us a tour.
You're very welcome
Yeah, a boat designed to be used and lived in rather than showed off.
Dorit Bergen it’s very elegant and nice 😀
@Raul Tiangson Bargin for a 22yr old boat ....you have ZERO EXPERIENCE
colintraveller hey man. Is that bad to buy a 20 years old boat? Would that cost a lot to maintain?
People say dated, maybe it's a generational thing but I love this boat and like Nick, I love the family separation in the cabins not to mention the amazing country kitchen... when I inevitably win the lottery,, ... Aquaholic and family will be my honored guests on my new to me 108 Westship ...
Set your goals higher than the lottery my friend
Yes its dated, but I wouldnt say its an old boat, old for a boat is is 1980 and early, in my book
@@lovejetfuel4071 Old seems sort of a rude statement when speaking about vehicles. Yes, some might be dated, but think of a classic ferrari worth millions. People don't call them old. They are classic vessels that are always going to be sought after.
They should have had teak on the floor but just covered in plexiglass so if you did spill your wine it would be forgiving
Wouldn’t take much to turn this into a truly lovely home on the water. Sure I’d want a pretty major refit if I was actually going to cruise with it, but as a home, it’s nearly perfect. I think I like these tours of older boats more than the newer ones sometimes, because there’s more potential for making changes. At any rate, another fantastic Aquaholic tour!
Sunday isn't Sunday anymore without Aquaholic TV escapism ...
A lot of boat there for jussssst £1.6m Nick. Interesting tour as always.
For a 98 build it should be 800,000
I was wondering what it was in Sterling. Would be handy to see prices referenced in Sterling.
Having grown up in the nineties, the style of the interior brings out a lot of nostalgia. It's obviously not as showy as modern ones, but I know I would be more comfortable in this boat.
+1 for having no teak "eye candy"; +1 for having side door access to the berth. Two things I wish were a standard on most modern boats.
Can't say I like the interiors, just not my cuppa, but a very imposing vessel nonetheless, and the fact it has a hot-tub is very nice. Wonderfully clean engine bay.
Outstanding review, as per.
Stay safe.
This would be a lovely family holiday home, not fancy, but very roomy and easy to keep up. The two apartment, three salon layout is brilliant for a 3 generation family. The price actually makes it affordable for people well-of enough to consider such an option.
I actually love the interior! Pure nostalgia!
With the 2 toilets in the Master, this is PERFECT for social distancing!
Funnnnnnnnny
GreatPapaLenin 😂😂😂 planned one advance 😂😂
🤣
Social distancing is my 2020 excuse to her indoors ....
LOL
The colors and textures that go into the cabins and hallways gives me doctor's office vibes. It also leaves me feeling like I'm going to find floor to ceiling aquariums around every corner.
Now that one I could live on. Thanks again Nick! 👍😎
Knowing what a decent chap Mr. Burnham is makes these fantasy videos even more enjoyable.
Love the message on the board in the crew quarters " more beer for Tim "
Your a scream Nick " this boat is not a show pony , spill red wine on deck no problem " you then proceed into salon ......cream shagpile carpets , with bar ....# red wine magnet ! , great video as ever.
I've always wondered how the teak flooring fairs against food and drink. I think I wouldn't care about the odd slash of wine, it builds in character.
Just pre stain the decking with red wine, problem solved.
@@JB-ym4up Lol, priceless J.......Z
I liked it. Owner made some very practical choices. Like the deck, no teak. Spend your free time enjoying the boat instead of cleanning the teak decks constantly. Easy to clean. Saves time and money.
Amazed that besides the tender it also holds 2 jet skis. Impressed.
They way it is set up, forget dayboating. Lets go places for two weeks.
Great video Nick.
Nick, I just love your videos. You are a fantastic host with a very soothing voice. I believe you have found your calling!
Absolute sublimity. I have to say my favorite vid by Nick is the '2011 Nor-tech 80'. Love this.
You deserve a medal for not dissing that 90's decor even once in your walkthrough, Nick - a true gentleman! I do love that forward galley/meals area though - only seen that in one other yacht and it's such a great piece of design as it makes for a really cosy, social space.
Thank you do much. It is an older one and really nice. Yes, the space got wider there when you are walked inside that living room area. The width is very good. And to have two families on this one would be nice. Thank you for showing this one. I continue to see in any warm cities why living on a yacht is nice.
I find some of the mid 2000 "showy" boats age really badly and look very dated. This looks great, hard to believe it's 20+ years old. Best "older" boat I've seen you review (apart from Smuggler's Blues of course!)
That is a spacious Yacht. That's how they need to design them. There's little point to having all these sunbathing areas for 4-8 people that can fit 20-40. This is a perfect example of a yacht being a yacht and not being a "Cruise Ship". Fantastic.
You’re the Jim Ross of yachting. Your voice and mannerisms are so cam and soothing.
There really isn't much I'd change on this in all honesty, I really do like this as just a thing to live on for a week or three at a time.
A fascinating tour, thanks Nick.
And it’s fantastic you still have tours to post. Thanks 😁
Hey Nick ! Wow, only $2 million (never thought I'd utter those words) This is a great yacht. One of the comments said it speaks to them generationally. What a perfect way to put it. Exactly how I feel. Features I like are separate stairs for accommodations, internal stairs to flybridge, country kitchen, full beam lounge & what you first said walking onto the yacht. How it's a ship to enjoy yourself on without teak decking & made to "Just continue to work" without fancy auto opening doors. I watched this several times against other recent $2 mil range and $4 mil range and this ship still wins for me. For $2 mil vs $14mil for Gulf Craft Majesty, I'm on this ship and may scratch my head when looking at Nordhavn. Yes Nick, I actually said it...... Z
Neat layout. That galley and seating area forward was "brilliant"! Truly has what is needed and no extra bits and bobs that will require more maintenance like electric doors that look cool but seem to take more time to use than regular doors.
Most established couples have no qualms taking a dump in each other's presence so the two toilets needn't be an issue.
Nice hull lines, still looks good 22 years later. Decent performance even for today as well.
The lower aft cockpit definitely looks designed to take a "combat" fishing chair.
I noticed the dining table in the saloon only seats six, but the boat sleeps ten guests. The galley dinette will seat at least six as well though.
The four bow cabin berths definitely feel less fancy. I wonder what the dynamic was there when they designed the boat.
I really miss teak decks. I know they're a pain but I just couldn't do without them.
Beautiful Family Yacht with separate section for the kids. Love the country-house kitchen! With the price, there is budget left over to get rid of the american faux-Louis XIV deco junk.
Couldn't agree more......the Americans have totally lost it style-wise!
...but beside that ...it's great value for money
Only one thing I like from this boat those big side windows on the main deck. They're to die for❤
As you said, that's a lot of boat for the money. Some cosmetic updates and it would be a stunner. good tour, Nick.
I love the 90’s look, wouldn’t change a thing!
I love those 90s designing. They are so user friendly.
Awesome layout with those different family areas, and that great galley/breakfast room. Would love to see frontal windows in that galley room, but otherwise, what a great boat. Way better than more modern superyachts.
Lovely Sunday tour. This boat definitely seems made for family and friends and not for chartering, which is a nice change. :)
A beautiful boat that demonstrates how much things have changed in the world of superyachts over the last 22 years.
Something different again you have showed us, the 90s was good times, just good solid boat for a perfect summer season of having fun with family and friends 👍🏻😎🍺thanks Nick good one 👍🏻⚓️🍺
Some of the interior was dated, sure, but that's a VERY minor expense, and you're getting a LOT of boat for the price. And very "livable" with its layout. Fantastic job as always, Nick! You've given us another boat that we want to think about buying...as soon as that winning lottery ticket comes in. 🤣
That had such a homey feel to it and I loved that bar with the regular seating. Can't wait to see the next one 😷✌
Man, this ticks all the boxes.
The fancy yachts are nice but this looks so comfortable!
Cheers Nick, great opportunity boat. Those forward cabins are fantastic for a family operation, six passengers in the middle, Capt, and cabin crew forward, engineer and deck in the stern, and the looks of that kitchen, enough provisions for a good extended charter service in the Gulf. I think it is a great buy.
Really great tour of a classic looking yacht, incredible VFM and a really relaxed vibe, love the layout, loads of space and comfort...very nice and nice to see the crew being properly catered for...
American... 1990's.... was waiting for the "orange" woodwork... rather pleasantly suprised with that interior. I could live with that no problem. Feels very much a family boat, despite the size. Nice choice Nick and thanks to Denison too, they've found you some really different boats to review.
Wow. I just love these older "more affordable" boats. I didn't realize that not having teak was an option. I actually liked the interior. Hopefully that's stain resistant carpet for when I spill my red wine inside not just outside.
I’m now really believing I have 2 million quid. I haven’t even got any work. Nick provides hope. Thanks Nick.
Love the white board in the crew area. "More beer for Tim"!!!
The hull shape and overall look of the boat from the caption reminds of a upsized motor torpedo boat. Very cool.
I liked this one. So much better than the ghastly shiny plastic chrome and glass monstrosities we have seen. The crew quarters were more civilised than some we have seen. I'd go for this one.
Well done Nick! Thank you very much....
Always a pleasure to work with you guys! 🙂
judging by the wardrobe i believe this boat is owned by john hammond from Jurassic park 🦕🦕
Paul James #hats 😂
Spared no expense!
Paul James 😂😂😂 so true
That´s a lot of boat for the price. Superb video, as usual. Thank you, sir.
Wow it has some speed! That was not expected! It’s charming and it would be such a wonderful family boat that you wouldn’t have to be focused on breaking anything or scratching, it’s wonderful! This family and kids could really relax! Thanks againSir Nick, hope you and the family are well!
Cheers Michelle and Lewis
What a splendid boat. It has just about everything you could wish for. Thank you for sharing this video and keep safe in these difficult times.
Really comfortable warm and practical feel. Great design. Holding up really well for a 22 yr old yaucht. $2M seems like a bargain. It is elegant miixed with informal home feel. The big kitchen with view is a great gathering place. Itreally is a perfect boat for living or long trips in comfort.
Its a lot of boat for the money. Its like that Guy Couch you had on Aquaholic Nick. It allows mere mortals (e.g: like those who have become lottery winners. With enough cash on the hip after, to maintain her as she should be), to have a chance at owning a serious Super yacht. I have My favourite yacht types, and I really love watching the walkthroughs of the brand new, or nearly new 'state of the art - no expense spared' yachts of All sizes. However I thoroughly enjoy the videos of yachts, that are still holding their own - whilst berthed alongside their newer, and way more exspensive vessels in the same class/size. Why pay 50 when you can pay 20, or 10 when 2 million. Then again those with 'Stratosphericaly' large bank balances. Its all about keeping up with the (Capital top tier J) Jones's. Lovely yaght..
Don’t miss the 90s decor, still a dream to own and be out on the water living the good life.
Watching your videos is my favourite past time
Glad you like them!
I really love the layout I did not expect that. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a boat like that before, beautiful.
Just realised I like your videos before I even start them. Guess that says a lot about you. Keep up the good work!
I must say, I was surprised by the interior of this yacht. I expected it to look really outdated but it is actually quite nice. I doubt most modern yachts will age this well. Older yachts often look too, "nautical" inside, as if they were trying to look more like ships. This one truly does look elegant and classy. Sure, it will need a refit but not nearly as extensive as one would imagine. Good find!
Have a safe blessed day! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
One of the Best boats you have done a Tour on!!
It’s amazing, looking at a very nice 90s yacht, at how much better yacht builders have gotten to provide more useful space in the same footprint. Great video!
Very usable and worry free realy, good range and performance also. Another cracking tour mate. 👍👍
Very nice volume for the money. The front cabins look to my like for children and the back for adults. Very well constructed ~ no squeaky floors ( unlike a lot of new boats that you test). This would be a great price to purchase and charter out at reasonable rates and make some money. The
Lovely ... classic 98 styling. It is amazing, how 98 seems so Retro, yet so modern, on this yacht.
I like the 90s theme. And if I could affford a yacht I'd definitely go for one like this - reliable and meant to be used
You are the best at what you do. I'm going to buy me a yacht because you've taught me well .
11:46 appears this boat has been in considerable distress recently, message conveyed: "more beer for Tim."
I was noticing the same thing.
Like many have already stated, the carpet has to go... but there were many aspects of the boat I did like. I thought the kitchen/galley was really different and cool. The overall size and actual moving around and living space was REALLY nice. This is a used yacht and a yacht to be used! Excellent tour as always!
I take it as is, if it was offered free!
Im a simple man. I see a new AQUAHOLIC video, I like, I watch
Good man! :)
Great boat to spend a few weeks on cruising the Caribbean. Shame it’s only being used as a day boat! Brilliant tour as ever. Thank you 😁
If the survey proves out, this is one of the best ever family cruising boats you have come across. It still has plenty of timeless elegance.
“It’s not a show pony” but its all you need really...like the variety of your videos!
WOW 22 years old but comparable or better than some new yacht designs, stunning! All I need now is $15M Australian dollars.......I think I got the conversion rate right :]
Very humble looking interior. Definitely a good ship for a family.
Blue light disco downstairs 🕺💃😀
That kitchen area is stunning. Wow I really liked that.
Hi again Nick, hope your well mate.I agree with you on keeping things simpler so easier to maintain while enjoying your down time. This maybe one boat that might just stand up to the 'wear and tear' or breakages as us parents call them, from our kids aka equipment quality testers.Still new ish to boating but your vids are educating me nicely Nick.Compared to newer models, older boats seem to be more robust and more geared towards 'boating' and fun rather than just posing 😂 funny how im only 46 yet although love all boats you posted to date, i tend to prefer the older stuff you feature, omg im turning into my dad 😂😂 roll on your nxt review 👍
WOW! Super Nice yacht! Good presentation, perfect for me!👍✌
Great video Nick, really enjoy all the tours you do! Keep up the great content, stay safe, and on the road to 200k!
Thanks for coming to our side of the pond and showing what Miami offers. Loved your Miami Vice video.
Very much a pleasure. I was already planning another trip across, but sadly that plan is now very much on hold...
Wow love the big kitchen space
Feel like you rather like this boat sir..great video as always, good to see your subscriptions rise as well, you deserve it.
Thanks 👍
Lol "Here's a hint, dont use it at the same time! Not rocket science." Savagely hilarious
Pretty impressive for that price. But I'd expect the total cost of ownership to be high. Still a great looking boat.
Hope you still have enough videos for the next month or so. Enjoy your Sunday Nick.
Okay for the moment...
Love the layout of this yacht
Finally...a super-yacht with a Breville expresso machine!
Espresso. ESPRESSO
Hey Bob. Please pronounce it as Espresso, not "expresso". Thank you.
this boat is crazy! So fast, big, gorgeous and even the crew cabin looks fantastic
Hi Nick. Thats a lovely boat for its age, very homely. Great there is no teak deck but i would colour deck grey to offset the white. Definitely a family and friends boat.
Nice one Nick Neil Gusthart keep up the good work and you and you Family keep safe
This yacht is amazing! Its luxurious, fast, and it looks magnificent! Also this review is great! Thanks for the great vid Nick!
My pleasure!
This is probably the only time you can say
Big boat little money
Absolutely beautiful
The first thing that came into my head after seeing the interior was that it would make a ideal set for a Alfred Hitchcock movie.
What an absolutely gorgeous ship. Really lovely spacious areas, great living and bedroom facilities, staff area very nice and engine room looks orderly,. Very nice. Could almost be a Nordhavn.😂😂😂😂👌👌👍👍👏👏
Great to see another yacht video! I enjoy seeing some of the older yachts to compare them and see how yachting has changed. When all this is over could you try to review Christina O, I understand if it not possible and I don't imagine it being easy, but Onassis is one of my idols and I'm sure his yacht will bring even more traction to your channel. Thank you for all the great content during the quarantine!!!
I like this boat, but not the one I would choose if I had $2m. Thanks for all the wonderful videos Nick it’s seeing me through lockdown
