Captain Steve from BoatTest.com also does a nice job on their boat reviews, seen either on their YT channel or on their website. They do a separate video on the boat's features & then a test video going over the mechanical aspects including an on the water test of how it handles etc... Their reviews also give you various internal & external dimensions (cockpit areas, ceiling heights, step heights, railing heights etc..) & the test videos give specifics about the boat dimensions, weight, cruising range & fuel consumption at various speeds/rpms etc...
Great review. The one thing I find very "upstairs / downstairs" is the typically modest to inadequate crew quarters - even on the Sunseekers. Boats rarely have 1:1 guest / crew ratio at minimum; and I think this boat having 4 people sharing a wet head is unacceptable. You want a good crew? Take care of them!
@@danielhendry8376 Hey, Daniel. Some boats have more crew than guests - it all depends on size etc. If you have a boat for charter, it will have room for 8 - 10 guests. If you consider two shifts and always needing 2 people on the shift that double for service and house-keeping. You would need a chef, captain, crew. It adds up pretty fast. And yes, you can minimize, but for charter rates, there is an expectation of first class service. There are articles currently in industry news about keeping a good crew. Boats with reasonable accomodations and off-duty spaces create a better space for the crew, better attitude, better service and happy clients. It also reduces crew turnover for a more stable yacht and reputation. If you imagine the length and demands of a charter season, it's easy to see that when two people are sharing a cabin, it's nice to have a few extra square feet and a separate shower. There are some yachts that go to the extreme. I don't know if this link will come through - but it's an eye opener. www.charterworld.com/index.html?sub=gallery&image=11818.3475d
I usually find the sharp crisp lines a little severe, but they have somehow managed to soften the overall feel of the boat, and I do find it quite inviting. I think the lighter colour scheme has much to do with that. Another fantastic tour by Nick the yacht tour king. I actually think of him as Sir Nick. Yacht tour Royalty.
The best layout. If you are going on a trip with family then everyone can enjoy there own room instead of cramming into one room. Many big yachts tend to have 3/4 rooms only making it limited to how many people you can bring aboard.
If I came into a lot of money I think it would be impossible to choose a yacht because each tour I see, there is something completely different that I fall in love with. Thanks again.
one of the things I like to see is the crew cabins, this crew cabin wasn't all that bad for a 95. some of the bigger yachts have unbelievable crew cabins. I loved the layout on this one, two master cabins is pretty cool if you ask me.
I do love the minimalism as a lot of the yachts are over the top on the interior design and therefore add on a lot of on costs This is a nice yacht and thanks to Gulf Craft for letting Nick give us a great tour of a very nice yacht.
@@Irishandtired Siemens and Bosch are identical models, just differently branded. Until a couple of years ago they were made by a Siemens-Bosch joint venture, until the latter became sole owners.
"Great subtle colours ... I think that's great". Too right! So many of these multi-million dollar super yachts prove that money does not equal taste! 😉
This is a 100 foot plus boat shoehorned into 95 feet. A really nice crew area for the people looking after you. OK, their cabins are narrow and they share a loo/shower etc, but they get a decent sized window, not the usual small porthole. The payoff is a far bigger rest area when they are awake and off-duty. And how many captains have a cabin that is the full beam of the boat! The owner/guest area has the feel of a much bigger boat. Not sure I would want all those windows in VIP cabin on the main deck. Time to pull the curtains in a rough sea I think. I am in two minds about having an owners cabin on the top deck. But on the plus side you have fantastic views from your bedroom windows, and if you want a boat for mostly family sailing and not a lot of business entertaining. You do not need a top deck saloon for somewhere private for the family away from the guests below. For the money and the size I think this is a brilliant motor yacht.
This boat is one of my favourites, I prefer it to some of the boats that are triple it’s price, there seems to be so much value in this boat, I love it!! I don’t however love it as much as I love you Nick, thank you so much!! ❤️

I can honestly say that this boat left me cold. It looked as though it was "corporate" designed , it then that is my opinion and I am sure others will love it. However, it is great to see the other makers products out there. As always a really good video and commentary of this boat . Thank you for sharing this video.

I love this one! The salon and dining room are lovely and understated. I would gladly live in the front cabin on the same level. I also admire the bridge/Portuguese bridge area.
Lovely super yacht. As others mentioned, it has restrained but still elegant decor. Lovely layout on this. Like the crew area and the watertight door to the engine compartment that really eliminates the sound for the crew. Lovely lounges and dining area. Even if it might have silver oak, it suits this yacht very well. The helm/bridge is very nice and is just for the serious job of controlling the yacht without distractions from galleys etc…. For a super yacht, I really like this one. Thanks Nick 😊
Those interior colours especially the bathrooms just off. It's no Princess as far as interior design. But thanks for your always concise tours. Goodonyah Nick.
I agree, the interior has a look of being minimalist - you did not overpay for mirrors, lucite, and wood sealed in so many layers of lacquer it might as well be plastic. It's easy to maintain, easy to obtain furnishings that will fit and work into the color scheme. It's a good yacht that I would bet do well in Charter market too because of the toy capabilities, crew capability and range.
I am always fooled by your thumbnail's "lack of flash”. Your thumbnail pic is quick, concise, and to the point. In this day and age of clickbait, I’m used to a thumbnail pic of a 100m super yacht with a giant squid of Jules Verne-ian proportions attacking the bow, a back breaking torpedo explosion amidship, and 27 bikini and high heel clad women dancing on the stern with the caption "YACHTING EPIC FAILS!!!" Anyways, thanks for the great vids. Keep makin' em, I'll keep watchin' em.
Not gonna lie, I did not expect that price tag. But that front cabin... stunning. That's the type of master cabin I would want on my multi-million dollar yacht. Personally, I wouldn't opt for that rear cabin on the upper deck, but I also don't have a disposable $6,000,000 check laying around. This is easily my favorite ship you've shown, disregarding price and length (and mostly because of that forward master cabin and view it gets). I am curious as to why this ship seems to be much more expensive than other yachts roughly its size (at least it seems that way to me, it might not be).
Stunning boat!! love the light colours,so sick of seeing boats with dark wood and dark furniture, that upstairs room though, easy choice for which room i would choose if i had the chance, rather small galley i thought, for a boat that size. Everything about it,screams beauty.
Nice to see different manufacturers on the channel Nick. Not blown away by this yacht, if IKEA made a boat this is how I picture it would look. As always a great presentation bud. Cheers
Definitely stands out i a crowd that one. Im really starting to like the concept of an owners deck. That, combined with the access from the main deck cabin to the bow means that you can go on a lon journey and never have to socialise at all! :P
The smallest galley for a 12 sleeping guests ever. The bathrooms are quite small and simple, no exception. Maybe the owner specification drops the price to a flat 6M for a great 95 Gulf Craft. Lot to change for the rest of buyers. Excellent review, direct and informative. Tks
Outrageous boat. The colors are stunning. The layout I really like. The forward bedroom is wonderful. The engine room would be a never ending polishing job. But I don't understand the crew has to walk through a gathering area to come and go from there quarters.
A very interesting yacht but with a range of only 1400 nautical miles I wouldn't consider it a long range yacht, most explorer yachts have a minimum range of 3000 NM and 4000 plus is not unusual. The interior is nice but a bit plain but that comes down to taste and I'm sure that the interior can be modified as the owner wants. Thanks for the tour.
What a great boat! I love the imaginative floor-plan; it's very personal, even romantic. Can easily imagine waking up in the morning anchored in a blue-water cove, with your wife nearby, and enjoying that open view and beautiful deck! Scramble some eggs on the grill and pour a cold glass of orange juice, right there in the morning sun; still in pajamas!! Brilliant! Very innovative and fresh floor plan for the entire boat!!
if you were a owner operator with a crew this would be a great charter yacht. the cabin on the upper deck would be a great captain's cabin for the owner/captain
If it's an option... I'd prefer having the Captain upstairs. Even having 4 cabins on this boat still works. I personally love the yacht with exception of Captain being so far away in the very back of the boat.
Very nice boat. Has a good layout. Like the decor. Great walkthrough video. Your doing a fantastic job Nick, keep it up. Your going to go places with not only these tours but the quality of them.
Yes Nick you are the best at reviews. I’ve watched some others and there is no comparison. Even though you give each tour the same level of competence, there is always a gentle hint in your delivery of how you feel about the yacht. I think I have now caught up with those I watched before subscribing. Brilliant stuff. Looking forward to new ones and watching old ones I haven’t seen.😊😊
Love this boat..I think personally this is the best boat you have viewed nick..love those large windows and that cabin at the bow..really spacious..no clutter..real solid feel to it..and only $6000000.00..well priced
The cabin on top deck does not work for me Nick! A sky lounge is the way especially with the master cabin on main deck! You want the top deck purely for entertainment! If you have the top deck with cabin then the flybridge area becomes private when it should be the opposite! But as we no everyone who buys a yacht has their own view of the layout! Just my taste Nick but its still a beautiful machine! Thanks for the walkthrough and happy sailing all🛳⚓!
@Alexander Safronov: I agree the interior is stunning. I love the bridge layout too. But essentially it is a hotel! As a “boating experience” it’s limited to looking out at the Med (it's never going to venture anywhere with inclement weather) and going ooh and ahh. Like one of the other commenters I’m beginning to find 45’ to 50’ actually appealing.
Theres a lot to like and a lot crammed into a 95 and bearing in mind the pricepoint (compared to similar size vessels) if you can justify the $6m, i'm sure you could spec out an extra $200k on improving some of the F&Fs... and a bit less grey! Was expecting a slightly longer range, say around 2k, bearing in mind how they pitch this, but overall i'm rather impressed. The cabin at the front is the winner for me.
Had to re-watch this one since the launch of the X95. I cannot for the life of me ever understand how someone would choose to spend an extra ~£6m for an X95 over this boat. The owners salon on the top deck is exactly how Id fit mine out. That VIP cabin on the main deck would be converted to a gym. Only thing missing is a Jacuzzi on the owners balcony. This is quite a ship for the money!
6 million dollars seems a good price and I love the layout, with all the windows etc., although I'd have the upstairs as another lounge area. However it is very, very beige o-)
I don't like the way the steering area has no seats for the helm. I like the exterior design of the boat but not the interior. Amazing video by the way! Thanks again for a great vid Nick!
I'm not sure you understand how it works. In the 4 berth one bathroom there would be likely two crew on duty almost all the time. The way the shifts would work takes into consideration these type of things, there's some significant planning and thinking that goes into the logistics. 5 crew in a yacht with 8 guests, or 6 guests with a sun lounge, in this size of yacht is very, very good and it's not like the crew live in squalor conditions.
I've worked in the oilfields ...the camp conditions and shared facilities were tolerable. We were there to work. These accommodations for staff on the yacht are beautiful. There work environment is divine the locations are tropical. Boo hoo ! They are employees.
Great views from the Tender Garage!👍🏼 Thank you for applying on (or too, i‘m not sure which preposition is correct😅) my wishes😊 best boat tours ever!! Greets from Switzerland🇨🇭
@@AQUAHOLIC your right on, that the 88 footer you did was one of the ones I liked the most, but 2 masters on this one, and how open they are is very nice.

Not a lot to fault for only 6 mil. The Galley could not swing a cat, but the view magical. The finish minimalistic, not over the top, but pleasant enough Will never understand captain having to stand, when he just wants to sit down in he's own Captains chair, Again what are they thinking.. Save a grand and not install a chair? Crews quarters quite spacious for the size. Nice unique design for the front cabin ,felt like they ripped out the bridge and put a cabin in there because all the windows made it seem like it was the bridge. In all pretty good boat.
Great tour yet again. Nick always makes you feel as though you’re actually walking around with him. Only downside is I’m wondering how many staff I’d need ??

I hope you will review Nomad 65 SUV soon
This is beautiful. Love the layout.
I really want a expedition trawler....but
No toilet paper.... Not my boat 😁
my favourite tour to date Nick, lovely design, i really enjoyed your walkthrough, another great video, well done sir 👏
Thank you Nathan :)
Beautiful yacht...only 1 helm area? No wing or aft station?
A lot of boat for your money beats some of these knew boats hands down love it.
6 million dollars seems a good price and I love the layout, with all the windows etc., although I'd have the upstairs as another lounge area. However it is very, very beige o-)
It's owner spec so you could choose an upperdeck lounge (and the colourways).
@@AQUAHOLIC I'll find the 6 million first and then make some decisions :-) :-)
I don't like the way the steering area has no seats for the helm. I like the exterior design of the boat but not the interior. Amazing video by the way! Thanks again for a great vid Nick!
That’s a very poorly designed crew cabin/s.
4 berths, one bathroom, and not even a separate shower?
5 berths, 3 cabins (one of them en suite) and a large mess area, that's pretty decent in a sub 100ft yacht.
Only poor design IMO is the captain's room so far from the bridge in case of emergency, other than that 's fairly decent.
I'm not sure you understand how it works. In the 4 berth one bathroom there would be likely two crew on duty almost all the time. The way the shifts would work takes into consideration these type of things, there's some significant planning and thinking that goes into the logistics. 5 crew in a yacht with 8 guests, or 6 guests with a sun lounge, in this size of yacht is very, very good and it's not like the crew live in squalor conditions.
not great if you are in the bunk right next to the toilet no.
Hey there Switzerland! :)
Is it weird I’d still rather own the V55 you showed us a couple of days ago? 🤔😬
Not at all, each to their own, and it's great that there is so much choice.
@@AQUAHOLIC your right on, that the 88 footer you did was one of the ones I liked the most, but 2 masters on this one, and how open they are is very nice.
All the boats that is shown on the channel, this boat does not have all the fancy upgrades and materials. However, the design and the price is not bad compare to boats. If I had the money, this one would be the overall good value ship.
Fabulous work as usual! I love how much they crammed into this boat for 6 mil!
Another brilliant video as always. Thank you
Wow Nick 200k now , sensational stuff my friend, The word is out 👍
So there's a Washer upstairs and the Dryer is Downstairs? I like the Master Cabin layout with the Pilot above.
Awesome layout
Absolutely Beautiful Boat and Very nice tour as Always
Glad you enjoyed it
@@AQUAHOLIC I do Everytime You have to Create a Channel for Homes next HomeAholic😁
very good camera work.
Another beautiful boat and lovely tour as usual :)
You know, I would love to see you tour one of those really mega yachts some day (hint hint, lol).
Believe me, so would I! One day...
The size of that galley throw me off, it's tiny.
Great Vlog as always. :-))
Me to. There were a lot of things on this yacht that seemed small. I would still rather have the Gulf Craft Majesty 110. Wow what a yacht !
Zaineman agreed. The majesty series are beautiful but this boat seems to have some questionable design traights
@@The_Real_Zaineman Vastly different price range.
@@cbrusharmy absolutely, I just love that Majesty 110. I can't help it. Lol
Great tour yet again. Nick always makes you feel as though you’re actually walking around with him. Only downside is I’m wondering how many staff I’d need ??
3-5
You pointed out the clothes washer but no dryer. Are you supposed to hang your clothes on the rail to dry? Just asking in case I get asked aboard for a week or so. Lol
I liked the yacht but noticed no hot tub on upper deck and no televisions in any of the state rooms
As always, your videos are amazing. I have to say, in the time we’re in now with both war and general unrest in the world, it brings a special peace by watching your videos. I love it, and I hope you’ll keep on doing this “to the end of time” 😊👍
Thank you, me too! 🙂
@@AQUAHOLIC ❤️
Thanks again nick 👍
Love your videos! I think I've watched about 30 of them in the last few days :)
Yay! Thank you!
Well, we're all different... I think everything is just right! Colours, design, layout, etc... It would be this, or the Stella Del Nord...
