HOW TO SOLO against bigger crews in SEA OF THIEVES! - Ігри
This is how you go against bigger crews. Find the players who have less than 10 hours in the game and have no idea what they are doing. And kill them.
That what i thought
They're literally chasing him
@@mird5350 doesnt mean they know what they are doing
Every sot streamer the same they always bragging how they dunked on somebody who doesn’t play the game 24/7. And sot streamers never look that good especially with the shit my crew pulls off
I just downloaded the game the other day. Never played before. I pulled out of the outpost and noticed I had someone on my boat. I never played before and was confused he set my ship on fire and killed me. I was like ok so I respawned and I was back on my boat. 2 min later I had a giant boat beside me blowing me up. Fun game.
Damn the players I go against usually fight back
Frrr
Some dudes don’t even care about the loot on the boat they just wanna kill
@@SMURFF707 does anyone even care these days its just pvp Obsession these days sot its pvp only brainrot Minecraft its a pvp game uno thats pvp or look city sim its a pvp game if it got a Multiplayer it must be a pvp game for some of these mentally unstable
@@pittsburghraiderAre you mentally unstable? What you typed is basically gibberish
@@pittsburghraiderwhat are you on about? Sot has always been a pvp game, it’s just that now people are getting good. And noobs like you don’t like that because now you have to put effort into getting good at the game, just be honest.
So i came here to see a short on HOW TO SOLO and then you showed me HOW LUCKY YOU WERE to fight some noobs then the vid ends. Thanx i needed it.
But he's right! These are the kind of incompetent crews that you'll run into all the time and the way to beat them is to just attack fearlessly
Noob stomp
@@Tuck213 and 90% of time u'll get rekt 😂
@@glopstotem not true. The incompetence in this game is widespread
@@Tuck213 i must be one of those so , lol , cuz when i'm alone, if i die one time, i never come back on the ship cuz he sinked while i was dead. Every fuckin time
I love the part where he explains how to fight bigger crews (like the title implies he is going to do)
And then shows footage of him getting lucky against a bigger ship bc the other people were dumb and didnt fix their ship. They couldve easily beat him if they have played for more than a day
Every time a bigger ship appears in the horizon my ship gets bombarded by hundreds of cannonballs with pinpoint accuracy effectively killing everyone on the deck and wrecking the ship in seconds, these guys were just looking at your ship waiting for a bigass cannonball to hit their face.
One day you will be the ship with the insane accuracy don’t you worry! It is a great feeling when you get there 😂
Dude on the mast literally got hit with 2 sniper shots and just stood there like 🧍♂️
"Huh, musta been the wind"
The key is to fight crews u know u can win against
Facts. Too many people saying these players were just swabbies, or they would do X to come out on top because they are amazing at the game. Picking your battles is the smartest thing you can do.
@synthemagician4686 you know it's pretty easy for a sloop to sink a galleon or a brig, so it's not just picking your battles, just gotta be good at the game.
@@VouzzRBLX Hitting the Galleon at that water line and then a ballast ball. Game, set, match.
@@VouzzRBLX Hitting the Galleon at that water line and then a ballast ball. Game, set, match.
literally.
I wish I would get on a server with guys like that but no. Only tryhards for me 💀
Kinda feel like this streamer is one of those try hards.
Then get good so you can beat them. Oh wait you don’t want to put in that effort to get decent at the game, you want it to be handed to you. Too bad!!😂
This video is a great example of what you shouldn't do as a solo
Right? How the hell was that other crew not boarding? And the streamer didn't throw even one blunder bomb, let alone a fire. I'm like...Uhhh...
Phussybond or whatever his.name is I forgot is the goat at teaching solo strats. He is the best, he can teach anyone good to become almost undefeatable as a solo sloop
@@Alx-je7oj Agreed. There is a certain amount of coordination and ability to be really good, but he's absolutely a great teacher.
@@Alx-je7oj he makes nice beginner tutorials and I love his content, but he isn't the "best player" by any means, his guides become unreliable as you approach higher level combat. people such as kaijoi and massivesponge are better
Everyone gangsta when the Kraken shows up in the middle of a fight.
My crew is so cursed we, always have something show up on us. A Galleon came while we were just 2 on a brig. We put some holes and fled. Soon enough, the kraken comes and the Galleon catches us. We sank it, beat the kraken and then a pirate steers away from another player ship to attack us instead. We're trying to run to sell loot and a megalodon spawns and chases us while biting for 15min. He flees and a skeleton galleon spawns. We survived out of pure luck
The key to Sea of Thieves is to stay calm. To do this, focus on your breathing and don't let anything bother you, like trash talk or how many times you've been killed, just keep calm, though this does need to be refined over a while
any advice on this?
@@Royal-xr7gt pretty certain Phuzzybond's got videos on this sort of thing.
But something that's helped me at least is to accept that losses happen, anything and everything that can discourage you will happen.
Embrace this fact, but don't lose hope and don't give up, this is a chance to make a bold play. If it pays off, look back and see what you did that won the day, if not, pick apart what they did to counter it.
If you're back is up against the wall, Fight in such a way you go down satisfied. Take a chance.
Remember that trash talk is only talk. It can distract you ONLY if you let it.
Study other people's approaches, experiment, see what works and practice.
It's going to be a long road. But above all, don't give up.
Hope this helps
@@Royal-xr7gtplay over 1000 hours and then rage ehen you hit reg
@@Royal-xr7gtdon’t get mad at anything. Raging adds to the overthinking. Breathe in through the nose out through the mouth, watch your breaths
After a while, you place less stake on your loot. When you don't fear losing your loot, you can stay level headed in battle.
"I'm just passing..by... IM PASSING BY BROTHAAA WHY U SHOTTING AT US!!!!😂
Now do one where the opposing crew doesn't have the Inky Kraken set.
Yeah they are wannabe sweats
This is exactly how you lose a fight as a solo if you’re going against people with more than 10 hours of game time
I found that the most effective way to deal with people like this is looking more intimidating then you are. I have found that when you are solo, shooting for the helm and the bottom of the boat is best. Most crews will run away and won’t turn back if you just hit a few lucky shots
It’s not about the crew size, it’s the skill cap of each player on the ship. Having 4 new player is very different from 4 sweat lsd that still live in mama’s basement is very different
I have this weird bug where they shoot back
sinking swabbies is never a challenge
the key is to be lucky enough to find your self against new playes who doesnt even repaire
You know these guys were probably curious and just minding their own business and this guy out of nowhere probably just started to shoot
Behold ladies and gentlemen, that guy.
Inky kraken sails….. that’s how you solo a brig 😂
For those who don't know. You can shoot, melee or even blunderbomb a harpoon and it will retract the rope.
I swear all the videos I see of solos go up against a crew of apes but when I play solo the crews a fighting like the loot is worth real money.
Когда мне попадётся подобные корабли происходит это 1 стрельба по корабли и мачте, 2 камикадзе в подробностях не нуждается, 3 водила который плывет мне в бок или выворачивает на боковую сторону
I have very little experience in the game, maybe 10 hours. had a Galleon chase me with 3 people on it. I ran past an island tried to sail and dive to escape but they kept chasing. Jumped on the island in a cannon tower, anchorballed them, ballast balled them shot a few normal shots and had a HUGE distance. Then i dove and felt good fending them off as a solo sloop :)
they were swabbies tho
Yeah they had kraken set 💀
kinda
maybe like 100 hours, atleast thats what im guessing.
@@pneumonoultramicroscopicsillco Way less. 20h tops
@@pneumonoultramicroscopicsillco no way they have 100 hours and are that clueless
The fort of the damned has spawned
Imagine seeing a sloop and being like
Yea how abt i just take that on instead of having it be a fair fight
Sadly happens way too often. It's almost always the Brigs too.
@@nitrolight1778 yea
brigs and gallys don't care what ship you're on, they'll kill you just because they enjoy angering people
It’s a pirate game what do you expect
@@atbadwolfbay14 for there to be pirates not americans
You got lucky your on PC with good wifi your a skilled player and clearly you got put up against rookie pirates it's always hard
My last solo session was that I was attacked by a gallon. I put up as mutch fight as I could buy as soon as my mast was whent down it was over.
Man, I love the black-tipped sniper rifle here. Sadly, I couldn't find it anymore.
Turn on server hitmarkers, you can only get hitmarkers when they actually do damage
Took out a galleon by myself. All my friends on our brig were yelling at me not to do it until they saw the galleon sail around the corner of the island on fire. Was some of the most fun I’ve ever had in a game
Seeing him chase I knew he just started, I know this because I just started but barely realized that if they are outrunning you, grapple and turn slightly towards the opposite direction and it slows them and has your multiple cannons on their side. Also, use sails for quick maneuvering or turns without actually sailing ahead of them. I recommend getting use to the sloops alone first. Go to faction battles, 1v1 and find matches. I did that for a couple days and I feel much more confident now than my first days. Practice and battle.
You cannot convince me that streamers are not the biggest cheaters
This is how the 3 sweats on a brigan felt when they chased me down solo on a sloop lol.
To win as a solo you need:
- skill
- to understand that most crews have one sweatlord and two noobs, they don't work together well
- no fear of losing
And this is why I play Safer Seas when playing solo. It’s just so much nicer being able to do missions and treasure hunting when I don’t have to spend every second looking over my shoulder for enemy ships
It’s only 30 percent payout though. I just started playing and I was on safer seas for maybe a hour and I said nah this not worth it. You can’t even do certain events so I just said fuck it and went to high seas. It’s not so bad I met this cool dude at first did a bunch of events made a lot but then met some other people who tried to take it all away. You just have to get used to it but safer seas isn’t worth it if you’re trying to make money
@@Cookah007You play on ps5 broski? Im finna buy the game rn we can party up
@@Cookah007 Nah fam, if I have to wait half an hour for the game to load, spend a few hours gathering loot and then lose all of my progress to some rando, THEN it’s not worth it, because you get NOTHING. I’d rather spend 2x as many hours enjoying myself gathering treasure and actually getting PAID for the treasure then spend several hours online getting stuff and losing everything because you couldn’t unload at an outpost fast enough
@@RandomUser8P okay that’s also a solid point too cause that’s happened to me like twice now
@@RandomUser8P Lol you should sell more frequently, and you'll have time enought to sell
Yeah if there mind was to look and not shoot cannons lol
got the obsidian sniper and other pieces of obsidian gear through game pass ultimate and it pissed off my veteran sot player and i love reminding him.
My professional competitive pvp friend who I used to play with was so damn good at the game he made me feel so useless to the point I swore of SoT for the most part because I realized I’ll never be that good. Like, bro single-handedly takes down big crews while I just sit back in awe at the burning ship before me
The night i became pirate legend, right after exiting the cave, i solod a bright by myself and that was such a booster to my ego lol
Had the Same situation when I was doing coral curse with the chest on board and I completly demolished them with 16 hours of overall game time😂😂
This depends on the crew competence
My boy had that full auto Draco grapeshot cannon 😂
The machine gun can stutter is something I haven't seen in a while😂
i normally use the brig it's more fire power but almost as easy to control as the sloop solo
Once I was in a sloop with the chest of siren song and this galleon with Reapers bones emissary pull up. I shot them twice and they backed off immediately. They didn't even fire a single shot.
I was on a gallon solo because my friends weren't online yet and I sunk another gallon with 4 players
Dudeeee the graphics are what impress me in this video
Hit reg at the beginning was a beautiful touch
I think a better way to phrase it is when you go against a galleon theres a 50/50 chance that its a group of players who at least have an idea of how to play the game, or theyre complete noobs like these guys who either dont know they can even operate the cannons and if they do theyre probably gonna miss their shots.
TLDR: fight cans and get lucky
I was playing sea of thieves yesterday on my galleon and we fought some skeleton fleets that had cursed balls. They made it tough for us to use our cannons much. But when we did, we gave the skeleton fleets hell.
That was probably a 2 man brig. I know when I face a brig they’re already harpooning me and sniping as soon as I go to turn. Then if I’m lucky I’ll get away only to be boarded with a cannon shot
Has anyone ever told you how much you resemble Matt Smith? 😂
I'm generally very lucky with PVP as a solo.
Somehow the other crew always has a keg that I hit even if I didn't see it.
Thx man this helped a bit with my stuff, what was that rapid fire cannon ball u used?
It's the "movie magic"-ball! 😅 It would be awesome if we were actually able to rapid fire in Sea of Thieves tho!
I was wonder why I keep seeing this really nice Briggs out on the waves, and yet when we get too close, we see that the people sailing on these Briggs are wearing beginner clothing.
Just disable cross play. Most sweats are pc
The gunslinger kangaroos, you mean? 😂
Bruh any competent crew would have boarded you so fast. That crew looked like they had ZERO clue what they were doing lol.
Usually if I solo a galleon or a brig I just shoot two 10-20 cannons into them from afar then cannon over killing the crew over end over till they sink, but one-balling the whole crew would be the ultimate satisfaction🤝🤝
You look like if Linus tech tips played sot 😂😂 no disrespect just funny asf
The key I have found as a person who solo sloops its to know what battle you can win and what ones you don’t think you can for example look at the ship cosmetics are they all from the pirate emporium then they’re probably new so you know if they want to attack you you will know if you can win or not but if they have high level cosmetics maybe stay away
Yea cause they were absolute noobs… Inky Kraken Sails and everything
Fr, they barely shot a single cannonball. Sitting on that cannon for days!

Don't diss on the sails bro 😭
Ok. Inky krakens a nice set. But yes they have a LOT of room for improvement
As soon as I saw the inky kraken ship set I knew for sure ur win🤣
I only won against a galleon, because half the crew was braindead,a megalodon spawned and was fighting them, and because i had no treasure, so i was willing to be reckless
Let them follow you. Sail against wind. Take ur hidden gunpowder barrel swim into ocean and board there ship with it kamikaze style
I never played sea of thieves but it looks pretty fun
Soooo practice firing cannons for hours on end ...because I can't hit a damn thing with those 😂
It really helps to pick the right cannon skin for you. Many of the skins flare out towards the end of the barrell which obscures your view. One of the best cannons to use is...the default cannons. They give you excellent visability.
The streamer here is using the golden cannons (I use them too) they are the exact same as the basic cannons but with a little bit of gold colouring on them, they were given out during an event though. Another good option are the Hunters Call cannons, I can't remember what level you need to be with them to purchase them, but they are pretty and easy to see with.
@@HockeyWerewolf Good tip, much appreciated! I've been using the Merchant Alliance cannons though I did like the default ones for that same reason, I'll try that out, thanks!
This is right as is right for newbies to make alliances
Bro goes mihawk mode
how to solo against bigger crews:
Doesn't elaborate and fights people who don't even have 10 hours
As a solo player I can't tell.you how hard it is to play with other players on larger ships! 😂
I once sunk a Galeon with my friend, they were 4, we were 2, they still couldn't even hit us
Always try to avoid broadside and it'll develop a deadly skill
And keep distance! Most people can't hit shots from a distance so if you can, you can hit them and not get hit and maybe even board(which you can't do against a good crew unless you deckshot) but let's be real, you'd have to be absolutely insane to solo a good crew.
I opted to play local server for my first game. Its fun for right now. Im just afraid once i switch to online servers I'll just be spawn killed for nothing.
My man is fighting a crew of 3 year olds and flexing on me
sloop is the hardest ship to sink, fastest ship to sail against the wind. 😊
How to solo bigger crews, get broadside, yeah right, this dude ahahahaha xD
I’d have to agree, fighting bigger crews that don’t even shoot back is indeed the hardest thing to achieve on the sea of thieves
Whenever i fight back, 2 people pop up on my ship and drown it, spawn killing me everytime. While others shopt through my solo sloop.
If you go solo like that (broad to broad) you gonna be demolished by average crew.
Anyone else ever make galleons cry as a solo like triple reported for harrasment
in the last 2 days i sank like 5 bigger crews as a solo slooper xD most of them where brigs a galleon too but that crew sucked so it was pretty easy
There was a reaper 5 on a sloop that started attacking me and my mate (we were on a sloop too) and it was one guy (or so we thought) so me and friend chose to fight, I boarded him with an explosive barrel went below deck and there wer like 10 GUYS TUCKING BELOW DECK!
I literally just got annihilated by a galleon while tryna go solo and I jump on UA-cam and see this 💀
If your soloing a sloop always go infront of your enemy so you can board them
Well played brother. I just bought the sot today.
And sadly the most common type of figth
What r your specs? Your fps looks so good i thought the clip was interpolated xd
Normally when I play with others there’s one person trying to flee and the other trying to murder the other- like bro I am tryna get they loot Stahp FLEEING-
Uhhhh Michael you remember the names of those players or the captained ship if it was captained?
I solo'd a reaper brigantine a week ago. I was gonna quit the game but wanted some action before i left. I went in expecting to loose fast. But 20 min in and I made one of the kids rage quit.
How can you increase the sensetivity on cannons? When I use keys it goes faster but when I use Mouse its giga slow and idk which sense setting increases cannons aim
Yeah, totally, not so bad when you’re a Sea Of Thieves streamer with more experience than the entire opposing crew combined times 100.
Who else saw the skull face behind the enemy ship? 💀💀💀💀
Me and my buddy were on a sloop these exact people (i can tell by their outfits and their ship fit) we killed them 3 different times when they tried to come after us we were just doing forts😂😂😂
I fought an epic battle against a reaper brigantine, im also new
I was just practicing on forts, circling around them and training my aim
Few minutes later a reaper was on me and decided to fight
I realized it was a crew of 2
They landed shots on me, I landed some too
I circled to a good position where they couldnt hit me
Whaled on em and landed a ton of consistent shots
They ran away lol, decided not to chase and called it a day
Man of course you can sink in solo if the brig full of AI
