Flex maybe like helmsman nad bilge and I'm now the worst at cannons but perfect for everything else

I got a weird problem: friends of mine that i invite to my ship can hear me but other crews can't. I checked the settings in game, in my game bar, in my sound settings even in my microsoft store were i bought the game. nothing helped:( any ideas what else i could try?

It’s funny us old players did this so easy. The new player base doesn’t take it as seriously or doesn’t care. But being a true pirate means always being on call. That doesn’t mean when you’re chillin for 15-20min you can’t dance and sing tho ❤ that’s the true pirate of SOT the role playing and silliness of it is my favorite memories. Short battles with hackers is lame. Long 20-30min chases with a long battle is truly rewarding and even if the other guys beat you. They have respect for a true battle. True pirates respect those that beat them in the end and earn loot. It’s the journey. That’s why I love it’s not about points. It’s about adventure. True adventure

im always helmsman for some reason (i am helmsman plus everything else because the other players are useless and do absolutely nothing)

I play all things so mostly flex but I get stuck as helmsman a lot but I can do bilge r main cannon too so don't matter

Driver fucking hate it just watch shit either work or go wrong very quickly

Well i like to play with my friend but he does literally nothing but board and blames me when we lose soooooooo I think my role is literally everything but boarder

Yesterday I was doing sea forts, did like 4 in a row, plus wrecked ships detours, did some fishing and defeated my first skeleton ship grabbed the loot as well. Anyways, when I was doing sea forts I remember hearing the bell ringing very strange (like it was a player ringing it and not the wind) but when I looked at it nobody was there, so I said “huh it’s a bug maybe idk some kind of “ghost” or whatever” so I kept doing sea forts for around hour/hour and a half or so, I decided to go back to the outpost thinking it was an awesome run feeling excited for defeating my first ship, I arrived the outpost safely, slowly approaching the nice lady (Soveraign) this player came out of nowhere and told me “I’ve been hiding here for a long time, I’m sorry that’s on you” *got killed* 😂

Dont know how I just noticed this but that's for sure me at 36 seconds wtf

Heres an actual tip, abuse your better agility, dont let them get on your side and use the enviroment to move, use the harpoon to do better turns, camp the ladders with the blunderbuss, give them no chance to fight you properly, after a while chasing you they will lose interest, at that moment you dock nearby and swim with a keg to their ship

One thing I love when playing this game is strategy. Don’t get me wrong, these are great tips. But no one expects to have a gunpowder barrel laden rowboat docking on their ship or a person sniping people with knives. For anyone playing solo sloop, It’s probably better to rely on strategy over anything else.

I love being helm, but I swear to god. Everything is your fault as helm haha

I'm on a trio brigg I'm they flex as you put If there is no repairs I shoot But if repairs I repair I also try to board but it's not always effective

Flex I'm always on overwatch checking the map and making sure other pirates aren't on the ship or any other ship gets the jump on us.

What's funny is that I slowly became the Helmsman of my team while arguing with one of my mate until I found the perfect argument. I'm French and in french the role is called "Timonier" and since my name is Tim it is now my forever role.

These are actual rawbots, usually you would get tripple sniped at such distance
