Seriously, this is one of the best tracks in all of PC-98. ZUN's comment was that he wanted to use this but he wanted a light tone for the Extra Stage, as a result he cried that he threw this out which I can see why. In all honesty, I would have not complained one bit if this was in the game, this is a masterpiece and made to be a track that was pure awesome. The used extra stage theme is great but I prefer this one but far. Also the extended video length is awesome, very much so for this track.

Even though ZUN said otherwise, I feel that everyone (except Orange, sorry girl) in LLS is connected in some huge plot from the past or something, which would sorta explain why you can hear Yuuka's themes in other characters themes.
The reason you hear Yuuka's theme in Gengetsu's theme and this stage theme is because they both take place in the dream world and Yuuka is connected to this world somehow. It's just a leitmotif.
Wow, the art kinda pierces my eyes, but the weird comment section is just on a whole new level... Anyway, hey, this isn’t bad! I think that this is pretty Good! Probably the best unused track so far. why does it sound so sad, though I like 2:58 as it sounds like another theme :) (5:28 sounds crazy though lol) (I just realized that that "another theme" is Yuuka's 2nd theme from the same game, lol)
try embarking on a journey to listen to all Touhou music in order from 1-19 + CDs and other official stuff! it's certainly a super cool experience!! i'm currently on 17.5's OST xD
Whatever happened in that stage, I'm just glad those two didn't attack at the same time like Junko and Hecatia. They would be unbeatable. Also if it had this song it would be my second favourite extra stage theme - not that I'm complaining about The Inevitably Forbidden Game, that one is great too.
My favorite unused track of Lotus Land Story and probably out of all the PC-98 Touhou games...just something about it sticks out to me and I don't know why!!!
Magical indeed~ Overflowing almost~~ particularly at the beginnings. On the other hand, it kind of reminds me of Lotus Road. Truly a shop on our way through the famous road. The structure reminds me of Reincarnation too...
