I like how it starts out sounding similarly to the original, but already establishes itself as sounding different. Really shows that even just a simple instrument change can make a huge difference sometimes. And hoUUUHGHGHG that extra ending is so little in terms of how long it is but does SO MUCH.
This is SUCH a PC98 stage song, I can't believe ZUN swapped it out - he was right to sob over his desk!!! Your arrange feels sort of like a recreation of the raw PC98 sound compared to the Akyuu version. It makes me think of playing Touhou 1-5 on my NEXT emulator, or back in the day with Anex.
I love this feels too like a ZUN CD version of the song! Like the little added instruments and the last short "extra" melody is something pretty typical of ZUN arrange's in the albums. I love this.
