Love my rr pro. Work with sap in pines and the rope runner is easy to clean and well built.

I have the roper runner pro and I can’t really tell you why but I prefer my zigzag plus using the chicane in srt works of a basil anchor works good for me

A couple of days ago, I was climbing with rain and mud and I realized that with a wet rope it can be a bit tricky for the device to activate, I had to manually raise it so that the bird would hold the rope as it normally should, obviously these are special situations, I was using 11 mm rope and a lot of water and mud, which affected the bird, but apart from that, it's a great device. Love it!

Unfortunately that is a common problem with the runner. Rain isn’t it’s friend. I’ve had them become jumpy at times or stick when it’s raining. But honestly sap is the worst.

It's best to have the roper runner pro first on your ring and have your tied in behind it in drt configuration.
