I think the problem is only in the US, here in Portugal and all over de the Europe comes with a modern turn lights, that is a shame but I think you may find other legal option.
i can tell you why. with these signals, they can only be seen from the side. with those bulky turn signals that come with the bike in USA, they can be seen from the front. so if you're at a traffic light where left turners yield to traffic going straight, nobody can see which direction you're turning unless you use hand signals. and R3 doesn't have turn signals in the mirrors like Kawasaki does. so your only option is either the Yoshimura signals that face forwards, or these flush TST signals

@Matt Murdock If you are getting one brand new, then break in period teaches you patience. I've also been avoid riding with other riders. The bikes stock muffler is loud; surprisingly. Not Akrapovic loud, but still loud at lower rpm's. Even my friends were surprised as my CBR 600rr was very quiet at lower rpm's.. The bike handles very well even in wet condition with the stock tires. The high beams are VERY bright and the display is one of the best features on the bike as well. I plan on changing out the stock levers to ASV shorty's but that's just personal preference on my end as the long levers are a pain with my hands. Many people are surprised that my bike is as R3 when they see the photos I post and overall. I'd recommend this bike to anyone; beginner or experienced as they are just simply fun to ride which has surprised me as I wasn't expecting to enjoy riding her this much.
@@TSTindustries I have no issues with the parts so far. They are working just as well as when I first bought them so thats an A++ grade. The only thing which happened otherwise is vibrations causing one of the fender eliminator screws to come undone; which isnt a big deal and a random woman forcibly bending the eliminator causing one of the screw sides to strip. Its currently being held together with zip ties.
Got mine last week. I was very upset I couldn’t finance a new r6 due to insurance costs but dang aren’t I glad I didn’t buy one as my first bike ever. I guess things happen for a reason. I have this exact model and color and absolutely love it.
@@itstenebro oh yeah. Anything to get rid of those obnoxious hammer head lights. Brightness wise they're honestly super bright.l, even in daylight. The halo option is definitely worth the extra and looks super clean. Halos also turn off when the blinker is in use which is nice. I went full tilt and also got the integrated tail light as well as the fender elimination. TST is top notch, you definitely wont regret it. Good luck modding your bike bro.

I just put some on my r3 today. Install was easy. I don't think I'm even going to add the relay even though I bought it. Probably flashes 105 bpm instead of 85ish and it's sorta perfect.

ah, so that's why the signal on the right side of my fairing doesn't have the running light anymore. my previous owner already had these, and after i removed the fairing, that little part was dangling and i didn't know what it connected to. i'll have to take off my fairing again and put it back in. the running lights really increase my visibility
I did My one, honestly you don't have to take out the entire part where the indicator is fitted just the top part and the front part both made of plastic they need to be removed.Again the indicator part need not to be removed.I hope my comment isn't upsating anyone. Thanks
Put light pressure on the lamp from the underside towards the outside. Use a fine flat screwdriver to disengage the detent one side at a time, in progressive small steps until you get a quarter inch or so gap. For me it usually takes 5 to 6 steps until it is loose enough to where I can work it by hand, still prying the detents away from the ratchet face in the lamp. -BR

It's tough to describe the answer in words. This is why we make these videos. If you imagine the process portrayed in reverse, you can judge the difficulty of it for yourself.
There isn't a number i can quantify this with. The fairing geometry where tje signals mount is such the it faces both side and front of the bike diagonally. Our signals fit there and fire the light in that diagonal direction so both front and side are lit up. The lens also bulges out but still is continuous with the fairing surface
@@johnmartin358 the way i designed the system allows for the halo light source to be changed without removing the signal from bodywork ad long as you have access from back side. On yhe R3 there is access. The light source has a few detents that flex on the way into the housing and pop open into receiving windows
I don't fully understand your question . I am going to have to speculate to answer it. Your bike comes with oe lamps that have a running light and signal light circuit. They use incandescent bulbs as light source, and draw a good amount of current to light them up. Our signals have the same two circuits but use LEDs as light source, and therefore draw a fraction of the current as compared with OE lamp. The running light is only on when the bike is on, and the signal is only on when the signal switch is initiated. This works the same for oe and our signals.

Some people follow the schedule outlined in their owners Manual. Some do every 3000-3500 miles depending on the oil used. On some of our race bikes with built engines we use good Ester based oils and change every other racing event.

Good day! I installed the led lights just today and found a problem on one of the signal light. It appeared that the other one on the left side doesn't blink brighter compared to the right. I tried a lot of things just to figure out the problem but still it just don't work properly. I think there is a problem on the item itself and I am so dissapointed.
We have a customer support team along with warranty to take care of you in case there is a problem with equipment we sell you. There is a chance something is going on with your electrical system preventing full brightness. Please contact our customer support guys through our website. They will go through a quick troubleshooting procedure with you and either lead you to fix the issue or send you a replacement.
Like with any flushmount signals you lose the protruding part of the signal and the lamps sit flush with your fairing. For maximum visibility but with a changed look from OEM I recommend our BL6 pod signals.
If you still decide that you are interested in the flush version then you can read some of the comments below to get an objective opinions on brightness, directionality, etc.
I would say better than most flush mounted signals on the market. You can look through the comments and also the reviews on our website to get independent opinions.

@@johndypot do you mean how to make a hole in the fairings for frame sliders? On the 19+ bike you would have to remove a portion of the fairing that has a connection point between two panels. Then those panels would not fit together well. This is why we did not make a frame slider installation video on this bike yet.

@@unaltr then your connection with our signals will be plug and play except you will not have the running light function. You can just get tje GTR version of the signals to not have to pay extra for the Halo element. If you do want the Halo element then the installation will be a little tougher but i can guide you through what components to get, and how to install them. If you feel up to the task, and if you have enough experience to make this installation, let me know.

Wow, I just did this in 45 minutes including installing the relay. Super easy and the best thing is you don't need to take off the fairings.

How do I remove the locking bit on the blinker light , I forgot to order the halo/running light and install the light before I noticed
Technically do dont have to remove the signal from the bike, just need access behind it.

Yes but keep in mind that they are flush mounted signals. If you are worried about visibility then I would say go with our BL6 pod signals.

The Daytona round of CCS and ASRA is coming up soon. We are setting up in the pits tomorrow and will be racing Friday through Sunday. I will have the GPS logger mounted to the bike. Should be able to get you guys some figures after that.

my turn signals just have 2 wire. How i connect them

@@unaltr then your connection with our signals will be plug and play except you will not have the running light function. You can just get tje GTR version of the signals to not have to pay extra for the Halo element. If you do want the Halo element then the installation will be a little tougher but i can guide you through what components to get, and how to install them. If you feel up to the task, and if you have enough experience to make this installation, let me know.

In its stock form I believe the indicated speeds recorded are 110-112 MPH.
