corruption crawling is a chore, doing it once is enough. for context i wasn't planning on playing too much this season. but since they introduced the catch-up mechanic, i'm now getting great progress with alts and because of that i plan to focus on LE this whole cycle.
LE is not getting easier, quite the opposite. If EHG wants builds to orbit around 300 corruption, Aberroth and future content will be much harder because you can't brute force them anymore. Try to kill Aberroth using a build that you can barely farm 350 corruption with right now, it's Dark Souls 2 level of frustration. You will need to learn the boss's mechanics meaning that it will be skill-based rather than build-based. LE is not what EHG was thinking of, this is absolutely sure. They never expected us to create these one-shot monsters and LE will probably undergo a period of finding its own personality. People will complain but people will always complain.
Yeah, complaints will always be there, I agree. I meant easier in the sense of getting to all the content. Before this was locked behind a grind, not so much anymore with getting to higher corruption easier. Personally I hate the system with using these Eyes to even fight Aberroth. Unnecessary grind. Like the materials in D4. Just pandering playtime at the cost of fun.
You are right, I´m casual playe of PoE and LE, playing it about 10 years and never played high corruption echoes. Never! I have no time and dedication to such hardcore play. And I don't even care.
My experience with the combat is that it's gotten marginally tougher but I still find it easy until I get one shotted. I'm not a huge fan of that current dynamic.
Played all major arpgs, last epoch is the best thing that came out after d2.
