1996-1998 GMT400 k1500 Silverado New AcDelco coil movement

Is this normal for a new coil? My old coil was solid.

Truck would cut out and run rough only in hot summer temps 90 degrees and above. Let it cool down and it would be fine. Turns out it was the ignition control module mounted to the right of the coil. The original one lasted until 211k miles. I'm guessing the header heat finished it off. Installed new one and all seems well. Waiting for summer weather for the true test.
