When they blew up for a bit after the recent Lollapalooza set and I paid attention to them for the first time in forever, that was the part that I was most surprised with. Fred actually still sounds perfect. I get it, he's not Halford/Steven Tyler in regards to pushing his voice as an older dude, but it's pretty incredible how good Fred is live. I never understood the hatred for this band from other musicians and people in general. They got lumped into the NuMetal genre when they were their own band and had their own sound that was far from Korn and bands of that genre. (no disrespect to Korn or other bands) The mix of Hip Hop and metal and, dare I say it, pop, made for an amazing band and songs. Mr. Borland is one of the greatest guitarists of the modern era and the whole band is kick-ass! Mr. Fred Durst, in my opinion, is one of the greatest frontmen of all time. He seems to live for that spotlight on stage and delivers what people pay their hard earned money for and appreciates his fans. The whole band does! I am so happy to see them back out on the road and playing music again for their fans.
There are several factors for this: 1) Nu-Metal ("crossover" for non-americans) got lots of hatred in general because there are way too much purists and way too many fans of either rap or metal that despise each other 2) The pop element means they also get flak from the crowd that hates anything too popular. So, IF you are going Nu, at least, don't sell out. 3) Fred Durst definitely had some questionable moments for example when he was totally drunk on stage and tried to play guitar. And for most he wasn't "true" enough and didn't pass as either a skater/b-boy nor as a metalhead. At that time it still wasn't common to be a white rapper nor to do metal without having long hair. I am not saying I am agreeing with anything of this but I can see where they come from. It isn't always easy to seperate the tryhards, corporate shills and sell-outs from the true artists, especially when they mix genres and you therefore don't know what to expect.

This set lives rent free in my head from now on.
The latin-american crowd has to be the best crowd on the fucking world, just people singing and enjoying like beasts.
Tu los has dicho hermano
its why a lot of metal acts go there ( Nu- Metal, what have you)
Sadly most tours visit every country in Latin America except Paraguay. Not surprising, since we're just about 6 million, so it might not be very profitable, but still sad.
Fuck yeah props to them aye
@@grizzlyowlbear3538 It honestly probably has something to do with some random law from your government, that may make it harder for acts to come thru or something. 6 Million is alot of people
LEYENDA
This takes me back. Cant believe they still sound good
People can say what they want, even make fun, but these guys still have the energy they did 22 years ago.
A concert without breaks and with so much energy... Ammm I don't see anyone doing it now, even the youngest ones
It is only an hour set to be fair
Saw them in NZ. Amazing show. Shit still rocks like I saw them in 2001. They just don't give a fuck anymore, which is great.
@@petelewisNZYes failure, we all know your 2h long performances.
They aren't as fucked up on drugs and wild as they were in the 90s and 2000s. A little disappointed but they're taking it easy. Still glad to hear em.
They sound great, and Florida Santa looks like he's enjoying himself
Jacksonville Jinglebells
After all these years they still play so tight!
Legends. Limp Bizkit changed my life as a rapper back in 1990s from significant other album and forward. Inspiring me at my 40's watching this now. I can sing all their songs in all their albums and some even call me Fred for my inspiration from him of his style. These men rocking the stage after almost 30 years since they started jamming together. kids born when Fred started rapping are 30 years old today. Thats Legacy. This Energy is another level. 90s Rule Forever. The music you guys made is living another 1000 years and more... Keeep Rollin Rollin Baby.. Who Agrees here.. leave a comment or just a simple fucking Like... (we never had youtube/insta/fb or any shit back when we made this)
Best shot there ever was . My opinion they sound better than ever. Wes is a straight beast. Going to see them in July at Nissan. Taking my 14yo boy. Tooling to see rob zombie when he came here with mudd vane power man and static c he loved it
You're not a rapper
@@rosscostuart3409lol .. word.. it can be argued that if fred duhrst inspired you to rhyme....you are not a rapper.
With that said...the fact " N2 GETHER NOW" ???!??!?? A song that prob WON FRED 1million fans alone on the strength of a premo/method man feature.....That would've NEVER LISTENED TO LIMP.... is WILLDDDD
Can't believe this song is not a regular on any of their tour sets
@@p__kinggI got to see them do it live with Method Man in Orlando way back in the day. System of a Down was the opening band. Red and Meth were the second act and Limp Bizkit was the headliner. Great show all around. Red and Meth put on a killer show. LB was awesome. SOAD came out being pushed by orderlies on stage and the set was like a mental hospital. Great show all around.
Fred Durst is now a new TEKKEN character.

Freddy Kazuya
Fredimitsu
@@LRM5195 Fredimitsu i am dying hahahahaha

The crowd is fucking dope. Paraguay is lit!
ssshh.. nobody knows about us. let it be a secret...
you should check out the Argentina Crowd.

Here comes Argentina, they think they all that everywhere you go. They think they better than all Latin America. Piss off
I remember seeing them in 2015, man, the energy you feel in the audience, everyone’s jumping, definetly one of the best concerts i’ve ever attend
Limp Bizkit is one of the small handful of bands that I love 90%+ of their songs. They sound even better now! 💪 👊 🤘
Good thing every single kid is filming the show while jumping up and down. When they have this wonderful version to watch later. It’s almost like they could have just experienced the show.
It's not to watch later it's to post on social media to let people know they got to do something cool
Or to watch here on UA-cam
Wes Borland is so underrated. He made them special....when he left they lost something -- glad to see him back for the glory tour.
