Water taxi always! We usually walk back from Universal (not Islands) to hard rock, but first thing in the morning, those water taxi views are beautiful. Y'all are brave for this one 😅 also, I'm a new sub and I'm loving your channel! I had been watching some Pugh Two and UA-cam recommended me your videos and they haven't disappointed. I've been going to universal for years, but I'm binging some videos for my next trip, and you can never learn too much about these parks. Thank you!
Amen! You can never learn too much!! This one was a beast to film for sure! We appreciate the kind words and support!! Pugh Two are awesome! They are the kindest, most genuine people you will meet! Not to mention their content is top notch! Thank you, again, so much for the support!
As I said in another video, the Garden Walk is a longer path to take from Cabana to the park then Hollywood Way, and it is just as safe. I stead of crossing the bridge to the garden wall, take the ramp down instead, that leads to Hollywood Way, which is a much more direct path to CityWalk than the Garden Walk, plus it puts you in the same spot.
The security time saved on water taxis is a game changer... worth the wait for the boat. (Walking also has its own security) Avoiding the main security hub is always advised. The main security hub can be outrageous.
1. Water taxis 2. Walking 3. Buses This has nothing to do with the speed, but the experience. I enjoyed staying at Dockside, but once I got to stay at Aventura and take the taxis, I'll never go back to just having the bus as my travel option. I love the water taxis, but I also enjoy the beautiful walk from Aventura. I got to experience the walk after there was a delay in the taxis and I didn't want to wait to check in for the OI event.
That’s a great question! The shuttles will drop you at the shuttle drop off at CityWalk! From that drop off to the is less than 5-10 min walk depending on which park you fancy!
Totally the water taxis. Who cares about speed when it's a freakin boat ride? You never know, coming from Cincinnati, the luxury of getting on a boat just to get Starbucks. Lav Life!!!!!
@@fudge_factor I'm a Thanos snap away from convincing the wife to come back for the June meetup. The flights down that week are almost free for us, with points to use out of our timeshare. I'm hitting a couple quick music hustles to get us there. Hope to see you guys again!
Love the water taxis, but only if you can jump right on one! Haven’t walked from CB in a while, do you still have to play Frogger and dodge traffic crossing the street??
@@fudge_factor The stella luna and stella nova hotels are supposed to open in january and february of next year closer to epic. These will be the prime value hotels on the same level as cabana bay and aventura. Helios I'm assuming will be the premier value at epic.
My first trip to universal one of the best "discovery" was how close and easy the water taxi was. The security check point was fast and no fuss. Not to mention it was so relaxing and fun. I had to take the shuttle one time cause the weather was horrible, the water taxi won't go during rainstorms. But the shuttle was so clean and easy to use. Not a bad second. There is no way I'd walk..this New Yorker is not used to that Florida heat and humidity in September. I may have gotten so heat stroke and saw jesus..lol.
The modes are great and pretty straight forward! That's a great point about the water taxis! Haha no getting heat stroke! that's not a fun way to spend a UO vacation! Although I'm pretty sure Aubree prays ever time we ride Rip Ride Rockit lol 😂
Ben Aubrey 😊😊. Yall deserve a BIG ice cream for this one. ☝️ Love all the data that went into this video. I generally will walk in the morning from Hard Rock or Royal Pacific and then water taxi back at the night time. Just cause I love the water taxi. It’s not always conducive in the morning as the wait is long so it is definitely much faster to walk in the a.m. Thanks so much for all the hard work that went into this one. So much fun.😊😊
I love the morning walk on the walking paths and water taxis back in the evening. That walk from Endless summer looks brutal! Not just the time but all the traffic 😬. I switched our resort back to Royal Pacific from Portifino (too much construction for me right now) I like that it’s closer too! The only downfall for Sapphire Falls, which I love that resort! Is all the people that use the water taxi from the other resorts.
Great comparison vid despite how unfun it likely was to shoot. Question: Looking for a nice semi-upscale restaurant for a celebration while were out there for the June meetup. Considering The Palm but open to suggestions and there aren't a ton of vloggers out there doing full on comparisons of places like that. Have you been to The Palm? Worth it? Better choices? Maybe a future video idea? 😊 Thanks guys!
Haha we made the most of it! It helps knowing people get value out of the video so thank you! The Palm or Bice would be our choices. Bice has some great Italian food and the Palm is a super nice steakhouse. Either would be great options

Great video! Thanks! I found this video by chance, it was exactly the information I needed. The title is what throws it off
Hmmmm that’s good info to know! We might have to think about changing the title then!
We are glad it’s what you were looking for!
Absolutely!!
🙌🏻🙌🏻
Epic video. For pure experience, the water taxis.
Totally agree! Hard to beat on a nice day!
Water Taxi all day long, less time in security lines, plus it's a fricking boat ride. LOL 🤣🤣😍😍
Gotta love the boat ride! We've seen people just ride the water taxi's for fun!
Great video guys, thanks! Staying at Royal Pacific in May and had been wondering about the walk time for EPA. Glad to see it’s a quick one. Thx again!

You did, you did! We filmed this prior to knowing that route! Still an option for sure!
Great video! I don’t think I’ve ever seen a video quite like this. I love the water taxis. Very little walking and no security hub!
Thank you so much! We are glad you enjoyed it!
The water taxis are so good! They are an experience all themselves!
The security time saved on water taxis is a game changer... worth the wait for the boat. (Walking also has its own security) Avoiding the main security hub is always advised. The main security hub can be outrageous.
It can definitely be long depending on how busy the parks are!

No! There’s a bridge that takes you across the highway! lol 😂 great reference though
Ben walking from surf side after knee surgery is SO impressive! Great video guys!

Great video covering all the transportation options from the hotels. Endless summer will be closer to epic universe than the other existing hotels.

@@fudge_factor 🤣 that’s definitely me during an EPA morning
Gotta get to security! Totally get that! Are you headed to Velocicoaster or Hagrid’s?
@@fudge_factor totally Hagrid’s first then the bathroom 😂 then Velocicoaster. I truly love EPA at IOA!
Oh yeah! Gotta love epa at islands! You can get so much done!
We really enjoy the walks. Only took the water taxi once.
Most the times we walk too! They are such nice paths!
@@fudge_factor They are and a lot more quiet than I would have thought.

When did you guys record that video? I’ve been curious about Portifino Bay’s construction.
Back in January. Portofino bays construction is pretty front and center right now. Most the east wing has scaffolding and tarps on the facade
@@fudge_factor thanks!
Absolutely!
I will be staying at the Royal Pacific and looking to maximize my early park access. Does the water shuttle really only start at 7:30?
Great idea! EPA is great to get a lot done! Water taxis start 1 hour prior to early park admission
Back in day we use to walk from the Rozen Crown Plaza up International drive...... Mad or what😂😂
Wohh, that’s like 4 miles?!
I know we were fit back then 💪now we either get uber on stay at Aventura 🥰 booked for next year can't wait 😁

VERY 3 weeks whoop whoop 😁😁
Oooo that’s a nice long holiday!!
If you are staying at another hotel, can you take a water taxi from a different hotel?
Yes! You can!
Water taxi all day. So much shorter at security. 😊
Water taxis are so nice!
Water Taxi
Yes! All. The. Way!
Love the water taxi, but I swear it's always a 15 minute wait for it. I think I just have bad luck!
You can almost be in the parks with that amount of waiting!
