I Found The Best Way to Explore Orlando Without a Car | I-Ride Trolley | My First Experience!

- In today's video I take you on another fun experiment around Orlando. A common question that I receive from time to time is what is a good form of transportation around Central Florida that's affordable? Well I think I found it and it's called the I Ride Trolley. And this is found up and down International Drive and through Major Blvd close to Universal Orlando. This service can take you pretty much anywhere that's off I Drive Orlando from Fun Spot America, The Orlando Premium Outlets, Icon Park, Pointe Orlando, The Convention Center, Sea World Orlando and all the way down to The Vineland Premium Outlets that's close to Walt Disney World. I explain and show you everything that you need to know about this service. I hop on from the Orlando Premium Outlets and I take it all the way to Icon Park and I show you some updates and a small tour around Icon Park. Next we grab some lunch at Yard House and then hop back on the trolley at stop 14 and head back to the outlets. Orlando has so much to offer outside the parks & this type of content is great.
We used that trolley many years ago ( my oldest son was like 3 and now he is 22) it was very good back then but only came like every hour or so back then.We stayed in a hotel and took it to Universal every day for about 3 days. I'm happy to see that it's still going and comes alot more often..

Did this in December! Great way to get to the malls, restaurants...etc! The drivers i met were extremely nice and helpful. I did the 5 day pass, quick and easy to pay for.

Loved this video, Dev! I'm from the UK and have always been curious about taking the I-Ride, so thankyou! I love these videos about things unrelated to the Disney/Universal parks, they're great for tourists!
Finally someone shining a spot light on this. I you to drive for them and it's great way to get around the I drive Sea world and universal area if you are staying at any of the hotels. A lot of people don't realize that some of the hotels along the route includes free day passes to ride the trolley in their reservation.
Love your videos. So different and much more informative than just strictly theme parks around here in Central Florida, like a lot of other vloggers do! Appreciate you!

Great vlog !!! I stayed at the Elements Hotel in Ontario, California two months ago and it was clean, staff was excellent, location was perfect, they had a fire pit area, free parking, the mattress was super comfortable... I live in Vegas and we really enjoy the Yard House - we ate at the Icon Park one as well.... I love the trolley transportation system.... thanks again ! Be well !

Love this video, trying to drive on International Drive in a rental car during rush hour was so stressful last time we visited! This is much more affordable since we spend all day in the parks anyways and wouldn't need to pay for parking.
Yep used to ride the IRide trolley all the time when on vacation ☺️ nice and clean and get you to most of the key malls / close to theme parks

We loved using the trolley when we stayed at the Hilton on International Drive. Only wish all the stops have a covered stop because of Florida rain 🌧

Thank you, Dev, for this great video. I’m a DVC-owning mother of young adult children. At this point, they don’t want to pay what Disney is charging for tickets. I love that they can stay for “free” on my points while enjoying other Orlando attractions. This looks like a great non-park day. On other days they will be Uber/lifting to Universal.

Loved this video, as usual! Just want to give a heads up to something you mentioned in the video regarding the Four Points Hotel. You mentioned that you and Bianca have been talking about staying there. If you do, check to see if they've completed the exterminating process yet. I don't want to give bad info about anyone on your site. We just stayed there in 10/21 and just recommend checking that first, or at least read the reviews ;)! Thanks again for this video though!

I have stayed on International drive many times from UK without a car & used the trolley bus , my boys when younger loved them & although they can get busy at times like you say they are a cheaper form of transport & I have always felt safe .. not a fan of Uber myself personal choice ! I must admit the thing that ALWAYS confuses me in the North / South routes ha ha .. Love that you are doing stuff outside the parks as well tay safe x
Yes I agree I don’t like Uber or Lyft either. . I guess it works for some people but I heard when there’s high demand they can increase the prices to two or more times as expensive but on public transportation of the trolleys keep the same price.
The House Cheesesteak at Yard House is amazing!!!
I used I drive trolley many times. Also have used the lynx city bus on I drive as well to go to Disney ticket transportation center. Take the lynx 8 heading in the direction to convention center get off at stop across from SeaWorld Infront of the Renaissance hotel. Then hop the bus 50 take to Disney ticket and transportation center for the parks. Lynx has an app where you can purchase bus passes thru the app instead of dealing with cash. Make sure you look up the schedules so you know when to head back. Also the 50 has a stop at Disney springs.

When big conventions return the trolley will be packed but it is a very good option and I use the transit app and it gives real time trolley times at stops

Oh sweet there is a Titanic Muesum! I really wanna go to Florida now. So I did a 3 part vlog at the Arizona copper museum and the history is fascinating. The founder of Clarksdale,AZ built the first master planned mining community for his miners in Jerome. Senetor Clark had his hands on the claim for Fremont st he sold to John C Fremont (Vegas) he build one of the first mansions in NY, he built the train that went to Vegas and Utah and all that jazz. His nephew was a first class passenger on the Titanic he put his wife on a life boat and was one of the men who went down with the ship 🚢 in style. I vlogged it! Jerome and Sedona!

We visit Icon Park every time we visit. We've eaten at Gordon Ramsey's, Yard House, Shake Shack and Uncle Julio's. Haven't done any attractions though. As a Chicagoan I had to go to Portillo's during our last visit. Lol I like that they are building up the area that Portillo's in.
Oh my God thank you 👏🙌🙌 for this ....I don't drive and this is perfect to know when I visit again I can be able to travel around without a car. This diffently means alot for people like me that don't drive and way cheaper then to keep taking Uber nothing wrong with taking that but with a budget this is great.
Great for me also without a car. Although I can drive, I get stressed driving in big cities that I don’t know so good to have a choice.

I always wanted to do this but my daughter was apprehensive. (Not sure why since we use public transportation at home). But thanks for this video. We will be doing this on our next trip. We stay at Endless Summer resorts and usually use Uber to get to the outlets and Icon park.

Awesome video, wish I hit this area up when I was there in 2017, hard to get there, before it used to be 14hrs to get there, didn't have a one stop flight now it is and is 9hrs from Hawaii

Really enjoy the tours outside of Disney. As a Resident AP we have really been thinking of staying outside Disney now. We have never done Universal and that is now on the list with the pricing at Disney. Thanks for giving us the tours!

We stayed at the 4 point Sheraton and I will NEVER stay there again. The room has nice decor and I had an AMAZING view of Hogwarts 🏰 but they have bugs (roaches). We switched rooms 3 times and each one had them. I checked out the very next day and they were really apologetic and refunded my money. It sucked because I was there for Memorial weekend. Pretty much all the hotels was sold out.

I wanted to ask if one day you could do a video series one the sunrail there's not a lot of good content on UA-cam. But it would be nice to know what you can do in the different areas that it service such as local places to eat and attractions or points of interest with in walking distance
As someone who doesn’t want to rent a car or use Uber or Lyft since sometimes the demand price changes based on high demand just because I’m gonna spend all day at Sea World and or discovery cove this can be very helpful and give me another choice.
