@@PourReactions Yep! One Piece technically has more chapters, but JoJo chapters are longer. One Piece is at about 23,000 pages, while JoJo is around 25,500 pages.

@@PourReactions Definitely. I've been keeping up with JoJo actively for about 20 years, which is only barely over half of the time it's been running. Especially considering Part 9 *just* started, and will probably be airing for about a decade.

DIO's honestly one of my favorite villains ever. He's so over-the-top and unapologetic with his evil deeds and so fun to watch. Jojo's Bizarre Adventure is definitely worth the watch, one of my favorite anime, just be sure not to skip any parts or the fanbase will be on your ass.
Also, since you brought up Devil May Cry, I'm gonna recommend you react to the Dante Vs. Bayonetta and Sephiroth Vs. Vergil Death Battles.
I think I will have to add JJBA to the rotation. This death battle created a bunch of questions. 🤣🤣🤣 ofcourse they have a Dante death battle .
Love seeing a JoJo Death Battle, since JoJo is my favorite piece of fiction of all time. We're pretty likely getting two separate matches with JoJo characters next season, so I'm definitely looking forward to that.

This is JoJo's second Death Battle the first was Jojo Kujo vs kenshiro ( JoJo's Bizarre Adventure versus Fist of the North Star)

@@PourReactions It was indeed a movie, but also an entire franchise. I believe it was an '80s anime. Don't quote me on that I don't know the exact time it came out. However IT IS most definitely one of the bloodiest anime of all time.

Jojo is without a doubt top tier, it’s been my favorite for years and basically everyone who actually takes the time to get into it puts it in their top favorites

@@PourReactions theres actually several games, the one you probably saw was "all star battle R" which was a remake of an old game which was just called "all star battle," the most famous game though is probably "eyes of heaven" but yeah, there are jojo games dating all the way back to the 90s (the jojo manga started in 1987). street fighter and persona as well, while not jojo games took a ton of inspiration from jojo
'Down too long in the midnight sea' is a reference to the song 'Holy Diver' by DIO's namesake. Almost every character, stand and power in JoJo is a reference to a real life musical artist, band or song.

Jojo is my favorite show of all time to me nothing compares but you should not watch it. Unless you can handle the weirdness or have watched at least a good handful of anime prior do not watch it.
That's good to know. I've seen a decent amount of Anime but mostly the more mainstream stuff. DBZ, My Hero, JJk, AoT and such.
