This is coming from an African American woman who is now divorced over 25 years but has lived a single life full of many dates in the 25 years I've been divorced and have come across plenty who were his type. I can spot a NON committing serial cheater a mile away. This man is a PLAYER who got caught, nothing more nothing less. A huge fan of theirs and really loved the podcast kicking off - I have to say i may not be able to listen anymore after hearing how condescending TJ is towards Amy. Literally every single thing she says he has a rude comment back and puts her down - she wants pasta after a run? He says she’s making excuses to eat carbs, she likes certain music? He says terrible choices, she scrolls instagram? He knocks her for it. She has new year resolution, he says they’re pointless, she sleeps too late, doesn’t cook, told the wrong people about their relationship at the wrong times, I mean quite literally every single thing she says he has a rude response and I don’t know how she takes it. Y'all drag kids into everything. You always want couples to stay married "for the kids", even if the kids aren't even born to one of the spouses. And the spouses problems trickle down making the kids miserable, too.
Let me tell you, kids thrive seeing their parents happy, not seeing them in a miserable or loveless relationship.
What goes on between spouses is not the kids business. If we learned to keep it that way, kids would be much better off. I know, because I was one of "those" kids. Trapped between one parent who hated the other. Best thing my mom ever did, was divorce my dad.
Move on, keep the shit between the two people who were married, and leave the kids out of it.
