I don't think you understand what I was saying. Yes, of course cars have a radiator, but once that liquid heats up the only method of cooling it down is air flow. Exactly why the radiator is located on the front of all vehicles. However, on a boat fresh cold water is constantly circulated through the engine. Obviously this is going to cool a lot more efficiently...
turbos and superchargers make different power at different levels. the problem with boosting a marine engine is that its nearly impossible to get a good intercooler in there, thats y they dont last very long. u can get air 2 water intercoolers but those, in my opinion, dont work as well as air to air.

Dude, I'm not sure how it could be a 350 unless it's been sleeved down significantly, and had its stroke shortened. 350ci is about ~5.7L. As Gambantein and I said, it's rocking a 4.5L engine.

Just one question what are you using for an outdrive. I'm working on building a powered trimaran using a Chevy 383 stroker but I don't really know what to buy for an out drive that will work well
that motor was a NISSAN, it is an import, and its probably out of an infiniti q45, or any other of the 45 series infinitis. if you're one of those types that uses an american car just because its american, you need to rethink your strategy. the only time domestics do as well as they're intended is if they're built right. otherwise, like with anything mechanical, it will break.
@corotor12345 Air tanks can be made out of aluminum. Ive owned bagged trucks so I know. Thats exactly what they look like. I doubt a few lbs is a concern when people run blown big block chevys in jet boats.
I have a kona with out board 80hp. way way slower than this thing . I used to have a 280z with turbo/wastegate link removed. 2 blown head gaskets over the years. but it was fast and fun. when that turbo was spinnin! .

the motor doesn't really last longer when u turbo it , it just makes way more power then a n/a motor or a supercharged motor

It came from a car.... an Infiniti Q45. Revs to 7000 rpm from the factory... not too shabby for a V8
recent tests show that skiers arms lengthened by an average of 3.8 inches after 2 runs behind the boat.

It's a twin-turbo Nissan VH45 engine - (i.e. 4.5L V8).
