As good ol zip ties would say "u don't need to worry about safety" hahaha. That car needs a sticker that says balls must be this big to drive this ride!👌💪
This guy is crazy if one of those turbos explode man he’s done I seen tubos exploded and go through metal nothing in between him and turbos look sick but dangerous
Oh yeah the main danger here is definitely the turbos and totally not the fact that he's going nearly 200 mph. If that car blew anyways he'd be injured.
@@danktoast8004just look up turbo explosion and you'll understand. You can survive a 200 mph crash with a rollcage, you won't survive if that turbo disentagrates.
@@Ole_CornPop I completely understand the potential danger if that turbo blows, I'm saying that it's innocuous to bring that up because that car is a death trap whether that turbo blows or not.
@@Ole_CornPopcars of this caliber do not run turbos that have a possibility of exploding out of the housing (they DO test that and design to prevent just that!) Turbo explosions you see are cheap turbos and mostly diesels! Turbine explosion is very rare to begin with however diesels are pushing 100-150psi and the explosions are due to other factors as well.
I'm sorry I wouldn't drive it unless there was like a titanium cover/ shield around those turbos. I have had a turbine wheel saw through the exhaust and went though the hood and a good ways in the air
It looks like he's running dual exhaust crankcase scavenge setups. Each exhaust pipe pulls from a common catch can that pulls air from each valve cover.

How did this pass tech? NHRA driveline rules clearly state “Open drivelines passing any part of the driver's body must be completely enclosed in 1/8-inch (3.2 mm) minimum thickness steel plate, securely mounted to the frame or frame structure” Edit: just read the description, it didn’t pass tech
Lol right?! He probably has to buy the head guy teching the cars a 30rack just be able to run practice. That exposed drives shaft next to his knee is grounds for a whole Lotta "naw bro, im good on the ride along"
"What did you see close before you died? A light?"
"Actually a Driveshaft.."
Vet - Where did you get your shrapnel wounds brother? Iraq?
This guy: napa Sonoma raceway

Oh and yes, can I get a side order of just a bit of traction? That'd be great. Amazing build
Just imagine what that ujoint failure would feel like 😬

I wouldn't by any means go to the extent saying it's a death trap

Pussies have lips also...
@@Z-Ack you must have a mirror checking yours out. Learn something new every day huh?!
Same with the driveshaft 😂
That driveshaft not being covered has me cringing 🤣🤣🤣
Yea i seen that too…
Dangerous!
@@christopherclaure6689 honestly what part about this car isn't dangerous
Agree, saw that too 😂
You would be surprised how many drag cars are built like that 😂
How about no protection from the turbos they pop regularly lol
Weird that you can't here much spool action. What are those after the turbo dumps? Big catch cans by the looks but I don't get the purpose?

4000hp terrible tires great suspension. Suspension guy needs a raise and they need a new tire guy lol. And a better diff would help a lot.
Bad ass video , sir!!
Thank you!
Cadillac rolled early. Redlight!
Than told him he couldn't run this car with the exhaust inside the car. Turbos are outside now..
Could someone tell me what the piping is going into the turbo dumps behind his head? The blue silicone hoses

I wonder how fast if there want an instant burnout like i think thus thing can go 200mph
The O'l grocery getter ❤
How much power is that car putting out
Probably around 1500 k/w
4k hp ish from what I understand.
Where is this car at
That’s badass
"your turbo has a car attached to it "
I'm watching it now I forgot bout this
How much boost does this beast make??
All of it
Probably like 500 psi of boost but you gotta wait two business days to get that boost
When your car can have a birdstrike 😂
What happened to the car
I wanna see you at tx2k, you should sign up
If you wreck that's going to be he🏒🏒
Ride passenger ... Yea...
Undriveable - like everything in America
Do you think that’s bad you should deal with our women….
Looks like hes ripping the fuck out of it to me.

He couldn’t run in big tire class because he didn’t pass tech. All he could do was make test passes
imagine how embarrassing it must be to lose with all that, i’d feel like it’s a waste
Cars a death trap. If anything comes apart your screwed
I mean I'm not saying I don't like it but spinning ain't winning
Cadillac did not win. No one could visibly see the car rolling before the start? Wow people are blind or it was just a no money race.
Looks like the rule makers overlooked that one. That setup makes no sense.

Has that thing ever made a clean pass? She bad though
Not with that turbo setup. He never got it ironed out. He has the turbos on the sides now
The most idiotic design and lack of safety I have ever seen in a car of this caliber. Wow
Fukin awesome right
