Yes sir, that is messed up to the max. But why would they keep attacking or even start attacking? Why wouldn't shlub say something beforehand knowing how messed up that was? Cmon they're a married couple, a team! Unless I'm missing something, yall gotta back each other up before it gets all nasty like that, like taking her to the side and calmly explaining how to both apologize and talk with people.
She is a God after all, she's got work to do on relating to people, especially monsters. I feel personally that should be elaborated on before going to an event like this.
After all, she's stating what she likes about her husband, and relating it to what she does as well. That's pretty reasonable, even if It comes off as offensive and ignorant.

That's literally the joke, everybody kills everybody and the people who pretend to be better than the rest are just as savage. But at least the monsters were trying while she wasn't.
Yeah, there's value to keeping to your morals in the face of provocation. But people also need to learn that you cannot place the blame on the one who attacked you if you were goading them to do it.

I already get the joke blud, but it’s so damn predictable it’s just insulting, hell if they wanted to go the ‘moral high ground’ then maybe write the monsters to be a little less cliche, maybe have her make a fool of herself without falling back on murder as they do a public dressing down of her and SHES the one to throw a fit.
