Test what works for you. Seems like a good system but don't assume the distances are the same in every car. In fact, one of my cars you sit so low by design you can't even see the hood.
I don't know about other tips but the one with lower bumper of front car where your car and the front car has 1m dist is true and valid for approximately all person
Although these tips are very much appreciated, the reference points are not accurate. All vehicles have differences in height, width, length, turning radius etc. The best thing to do is to get to know your car.
The following videos were done based on a basic sedan type car as reference as the general population of private motorists drive a sedan compared to SUVs, vans or pickups which are bigger
@@rdu239 but not all sedans are the same. Those reference points would literally only work for this one model or ones from different manufacturers based off of it.
That is inaccurate - if you change the chair position up and down, everything changes. You should measure your own car by moving your chair to a place that will be the same all the time = the maximum upper place that gives you maximum visibility. Then, buy some plastic obstacles and train with your car and find out the connection between virtual lines between your eyes and car lines, stop the car, and measure the actual distance to the plastic objects.
My advice if I can put into words is: practice is key. During your day to day driving memorise and visualise how much space your car takes in tight spots. So in time you will instantly know if you can fit somewhere or not Pro tip: Try to be as smooth as possible dont overthink it, dont try to be cool, dont rush. Some things in life need moderation. If you want to go quick do so smoothly, if you wanna park do so smoothly, if you are stuck in traffic keep your distance and do so smoothly. If your girl wont appreciate it if you constantly change frequency and speed, your car wont either
Once again... It all depends on the car, the height of the person driving the car, and the type of the car.... Look guys, just use your common sense in driving your own car. If you had driving a long time and use the same car, you will be fine.
Its for beginner, a guide for them, yes theres different car and oerson height but they kniw where to start, not blind on how to do this and that which end up making bad move
Man I knew how to drive in tight spaces year one. Took cones and placed them close to the sides of my vehicle. I'd drive through, then have to comeback between them repeatedly. It's helped train my eyes to drive in tight spaces. Also taught me it's alright to back down.
In my opinion don't over think! Having distance is always good just adjust seat such that you can see car front in SUVs based on that u can make decisions. When it comes to sedans car it might be bit diff yet will get idea by driving regularly
Just keep to the left side as close as possible 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️ than the right side will have more space so it definitely won’t hit, just keep watching the left 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
It's a great a lesson ..! I have a question, when there is a car parking a long the road and I want to turn and park in front of it but I'm afraid the car's back hitting their car's front parking how do I turn without hitting. Thank you for teaching..
These are just general guidelines. I drive both compact sedan and suv and it always takes time to adapt if I drive only one vehicle longer than couple of weeks.
honestly, I feel like disclaimers would be nice but the idea is good, he isnt supposed to give you the absolute benchmark for every car, he approximating them for you so you can easier find it in your own car.
So this is what a 10+ years exp drivers know huh… 😂😂😂 Damn sure they dont even check ref points.. it just starts feelin natural after a while. And what if the bonnet is not even visible!

Hello. My 2001 Honda Civic stop charging the battery, the battery went dead while driving, the horn also went dead, the gas metet went to empty and the steering wheel was stiffening up. What could be the possible cause?
Thank you. I wish you had replied esrlier because I have changed alternator and they have used a hammer to remove the alternator and in the proceds destroy my strutts which I will have to replace.
How can this work if everyone's height and sitting position is different
Approximately it is correct
@@deepalijain803 approximately distance between you and car next to you is -10cm

it's better to be approximately right than exactly wrong. these tips are approximately right. good enough.
I don't think veteran drivers think what to do, they just know what to do. Muscle memory.

It varies from car to car , as every car has different hood size and height. It Depends on the car you are driving.
This still somewhat works if your height and seating position are different. We're talking 2-3 inch differences based on these reference points.
Too complicated
I’ll just stick my head out of the window
I plan to walk!
In my country whenever you looking back like that and not using 3 mirror on your car i will fail for car driving license test
Thank you for sharing👍 Im learning a lot🙏

All the tips for driving are fantastics. Happy new year
THANK YOU, SIR for sharing this informative video...
The best tip is to know your car. Also if you have to back up to repeat, it's still better than trying to be forceful and scrap your car
Good. Very nice explanation and experiment. Best wishes
Do you have any videos on how to drive Toyata aphard on these few points like your video mentioned?
Also depends on the turning circle of the car you're driving
Great tips.. thank you.. But to work these tips our seat & mirror adjustment must be proper.. Can you pls. guide for that..?

Your vlog is very helpful. But talk slowly so viewers can grasp what you are telling.
Excellent Sir
We occasionally have to face a situation where the safe margin around car’s both sides is a few millimetre 😂😢
Yeah, true! And these reference points might not help because it's really about a quarter of an inch... I wouldn't risk it :)
come to India bro😅😅
Instructions unclear,i think ive just lost a side mirror
It's a great a lesson ..! I have a question, when there is a car parking a long the road and I want to turn and park in front of it but I'm afraid the car's back hitting their car's front parking how do I turn without hitting. Thank you for teaching..
Man you are awesome
In India, you learn this technique in 6 months. If you can drive in Indian traffic, you can drive anywhere in the universe.
I think the easier way is to have cameras installed on every side of the car that get activated to act as the driver's third eye when needed
These are just general guidelines. I drive both compact sedan and suv and it always takes time to adapt if I drive only one vehicle longer than couple of weeks.
These are really good tips, unfortunately in general drivers are regressing!
While reversing back, there is no curb stone, instead a high wall, then how to find out upto what extent we can go back ? What is the reference point.
Thank you.
From my experience it take time to get used to new car but no same formula works for all, over time you get the idea about your car

99% don’t know because only you can use these for yourself
It’s all starting to make sense now.
Great !
Wow than ku... 👍
Is this trick suitable for all type of cars?
I tried but not working in most of the cases. Really depend on types of cars and seating position
Great 👍
feature how tight parking technique on narrow streets. Thanks.
Even bro judgement is not same everywhere hight of the objects may be different
Indians seem to hv a lot to complain about 🤦♂️😅
Agreed, its all about experience. But nice content. He is showing efforts to teach us.
Thanks
Does it work with all types of cars, sedans or hatchback of different models all over the world. What abt in countries like India?
Does same rules about 3 m apply to T6 VW Van?
Icl you just have to feel it 😂😂😂😂
Seems more like a math class than driving lessons😢
Funny it depends on your car's turning radius. The real technique is to know your car's dimensions and how hard it turns.
I think this explains all the stupid low speed crashes in the Chinese dash cam videos I've seen.
Make sure you watch this at 0.75 speed. Too damn fast.
I like to drive with my seat fully reclined so I'm always 3m from the car in front, even when it's touching.
It is super
Good tips
But ill keep the feeling between my car and i 😂😂
Thx
thanks
Yes it's impressive, informative, but if in doubt get out and have a look.
I drive à Peugeot 3008. Have you seen it’s steering wheel? It’s sporty little rectangular that will not align with anything ..
Nice sir

does it work for bus? thank you
These will NOT WORK on a full sized pickup truck especially if it has been lifted and/or has an extended front bumper like a deer guard.
Lmao no shit. Also why would you think someone with a Chinese username would even consider that?
These kind of videos are causing more scratches

Your car's battery is dead now cuz of battery, the accessories that work with electricity won't work anymore. Replace your battery
Thank you. I wish you had replied esrlier because I have changed alternator and they have used a hammer to remove the alternator and in the proceds destroy my strutts which I will have to replace.
