At the start, the guy 99% had impact fuse on the GBU, they are just bugged since several years now and even if you set impact fuse they will wait until the enemy drives away because they are pacifistic.

9.3 is so compressed rn because of the premium blackhole. Grinding Japan there hasn't been a pleasant experience, and 9.3-9.7 France was also bad for me as far as uptiers go.

The T-80UD is basically a T-80U but with T-90's engine and transmission, but without thermals and without 3BM46/60. Think it's just a bit too good for 10.0, but it ain't exactly busted considering Russian MBT's usually just explode upon a center-mass penetration, and the tank still inherits the poor gun handling/angles present on every Russian BMT (minus handling for T-72B3, T-80BVM and T-90M)

With the 10.0 spam and Soviet WR, my 11.0 T80UM2 Lineup decently consistent downtiers. Kind of nice to use it again.

In this new update I notice the machine guns become invisible to HE, if you shoot the MG the HE shel I’ll pass trough it. At least this happens with me + plus the ground break
I mean, the thing is pretty much a reskinned and thermal-less turms or T-72B (1989), shoots same gun/rounds, handles about the same and with comparable armor

This is a better choice compared to the turms for players who grinded Russia already since they wouldve learnt to not rely heavily on thermals, and they have the crew skills so no need to GE boost them. On the other hand, the 2S38 would be a much better purchase. The T-80UD is great but it can be replaced by T-72B1989, T-72B and the TURMS, while there are no alternatives to the 2S38.
Giving this thing 3BM46 and moving it to 10.7 would be a good idea.

Personally I have no issues with people shooting my targets unless it’s aircraft in ground when I have a task to kill aircraft in ground for the battlepass then I get a bit annoyed even more so if they do after I set them on fire but otherwise I just think good enemy is gone look for another

When you got the nuke, how exactly did you get into nuke plane without leaving the tank? Is there a keybind for it?
Read patch notes. Yes now when you get close to a nuke on your keybind bar where you select ammo and such a new icon appears, and when you get to 2500sp you can just press the button to get into a nuke without having to J-out.

So basically a t90 a with 3bm42 and no thermal but at 10.0... id still rather pick the turns but the straight up better forward speed and armor can come in handy. Not a p2w tank tho so i don't mind...u actually need to know what ur doing in it.

In all seriousness, it may be more comparable to the T-72B 1989 sitting at 10.0
with its horrendous reverse gear, but the T-80UD trading a larger and faster autoloader for a weaker UFP.

I try to not steal kills if I know they are not a threat, Ill just pop a track or the barrel to get the assist. If I see them moving the turret and barrel is still intact im takin that shit I dont care lol, not risking him killing someone and them one spawn leaving :D

How is it questionable? It's not that good (actually it is because it's Russian and everything Russian in this game must be broken right?????), if it were at the same br as the M1 and 2A4 it would be outright worse, it's fine at 10.0.

Hopefully in the future we get another diesel T80 with upgrades.
Pakistani t80ud can be added. It has Gen 2 thermals, a turret similar to t90A, and better APFSDS than any Russian tank with Nazia. Maybe a better transmission due to the MBT2000 using a newer version of this engine.

Give it some time, it just came out. Turms has been accumulating players for years, with the benefit of having been on sale many times. Not sure if it will also stay at 10.0, might affect its popularity too in the future.
Turms is gonna be a better option for newer players because of the gen 2 thermals. Which again is wild for a 10.0 mbt. All the Russian prem 10.0 lineup is just hilariously under tiered.
T-80UD hasn't gone through a sale yet. I would presume that most TURMS players got it when it was 50% off. Just give it time.

Type 16 needs a buff If they gonna be giving us enemies we can’t pen any where frontally
The Type 16 is still fine as it is. The Type 93 shell can still go through the lfp, drivers port, and cannon breech when facing Russian tanks frontally. This also applies to Chinese tanks. As for Leopard 2s and other wester tanks, hull and turret ring shots still work.

honestly on a value perspective I think the TURMS is a better one.
You get the same gun, pretty much the same mobility BUT you trade armor for gen 2 thermals which are super handy. And honestly, people know where the weakspots are on russian MBTs and will shoot you in the side, breech or drive port anyway even if you drive a T-64A, so I'd rather have the thermals.
And on top of that you get premium time + GE + some money since it's less expensive. Better grinder for sure.

@@Optimusprime56241 absolutely not. The T-80UD is the diesel engine version of the T-80U, using the T-72B's transmission.
It has a 870hp engine for 46t while the TURMS is 780hp for 43t, horsepower per ton is 18.9 for the T-80UD and 18.2 for the TURMS. In practice in the test drive, both cap out at 60kph, and the TURMS is only about 1kph slower than the T-80UD. They feel about the same when it comes to mobility as well.
The T-80UD is a major downgrade from the T-80U for engine power (which has a stock 1100hp engine and 70kph top speed).
Do not buy the UD thinking you're getting a U at 10.0. What you're getting is an up-armored TURMS with no thermals

We don't want extra backups, if you bring a single PREMIUM tank you should get 3 re spawns with it. I get it, you don't want premiums to be too strong, but I'd rather too many premiums respawning since I can't find a single match of people spawning more than once anyway. There's too many people with premiums for them to not respawn. Honestly I'd rather get hit by CAS than watch my team die 30 seconds into a match then all go to hanger. It's a waste of EVERYONE's time.
Comparing this to T-80U makes no sense...it's more like the T-72 89' because of the Round (3BM42) , Kontakt 5, around 500mm Kinetic hull kinetic protection and the same mobility.

This should be at least 10.3, armour alone, even the object 292 should be upped to 10.3-10.7 with that broken ass round, ru bias is still very strong

That intro reminds me of a game I had like a month ago. There was a plane in this one match that kept trying to bomb my Radkampfwagen with AGMs, but had a 5+ second fuse. He would drop the bomb and hit me directly 3 times throughout the match, and each time I was able to drive away and survive the bomb. After the second one he started to call me out for hacking and "Germany OP" and wouldn't believe that I simply drove away from the bomb. Wonder what that guy' up to these days.

The 120S is literally a slower/less armoured M1A1 at 10.0 but kept the thermals and shell, whilst the UD lost the thermals, shell and mobility but kept the armour.
