- In this video, I'm talking about the many reasons why the way Sea of Thieves does Twitch Drops suck and make the game worse for all players! This follows the egregious way Twitch Drops were handled recently for the Sea of Thieves Season 13 Community Weekend which required 8 hours of watching on different days!

Got my twitchdrops at the lowest possible brightness and quality on my phone with muted audio and on the charger lol. Straight pointless.
Bro u got the best points. The move from 20 mins to 1 hour is when I stopped. I don’t watch anyone on twitch. I just don’t do that so I always forget and then the whole hour thing just makes me not even want to attempt it lol
Theyre not ALL Bad. But the influx of Eastern Winds really gets me.... Anything other than that Im a happy pirate. For example: rascal seadog set was top notch for me! I Really like em! And the seasoned tankard, that is the basic tankard we see in the taverns and the new bucket whit iron hoops. Anything piratey! But no more Eastern Widns Rare PELASE!
For myself, it was nothing to watch Phuzzy on my 2nd screen while I did other things. The time was going to pass anyways. The thing that irks me, is when a player posted the differences between season 12 and 13 numbers, j'Otoro (the one who handles the sea of thieves twitter account) blocked the poster, as well as anyone else who posts those differences. They don't engage with their community anymore, and that's a huge issue.
Rare is made up of a bunch of adult children who want to be celebrated for being lgbqt.
I always called for winning in-game cosmetics.
1. The way it works right now is fine (from the perspective of a drop farmer).
2. They don’t make cosmetics for twitch drops.
All the drops are lame anyways not missing out

The Bucket is kinda neat for a certain aesthetic. But i've realized that SoT really lacks in regards of good cosmetics. Yes, we have a lot of them. No, 90% of them look bad in their full set and terrible outside of it.
Shoutout to stuff like the Party Boat set, DA set, and merchant set. There is stuff in there that looks genuenly nice in a lot of custom outfits.
In truth, has SoT/Rare handled anything well since, perhaps, A Pirates Life? That sounds harsh, but thinking back and considering the current state of the game....
Game has been downhill since Arena left imo.
It's really a case of you don't have to do it and there is no really big issue with how long it takes. Twitch drops have always artificially inflated channels and that's the point. I would like some cool login bonuses and voyages tho

twitch drops themselves are stupid since they cause people to watch streamers not for the content itself but for some external feature in order to artificially inflate numbers. funny that streamers where complaining about drop farmers since it basically means your content is so boring people would rather just farm the drops on someone who isn't even playing the game and leave. I suspect the only reason Rare is doing this with the latest drop is to inflate watch time on twitch something which has been going down for awhile, their is a reason they don't make the bonus twitch drop based on watch time on twitch anymore.
I never understand why they put out drops like this, usually twitch drops are unique or cool, something that makes you want to go out of your way to watch people to earn the drops, not what they did
