@@molinelligarage1004 yes i remember my dad bought a 68 nova brand new with the 6 250 cu cylinder engine and 2 speed power glide transmission. Unfortunately it rusted a bit over the 18 yrs he had it . The engine ran pretty smooth though although I had to replace the carburetor with a newer 1973 version to really smooth it out .
I appreciate the comment 🙏 ..for this old girl ...I'm sure it's fine 🙂 Definitely wouldn't use it on a newer engine . Remember..the term shelf life was invented by the oil company 👌 Check out project farm ...he does tons of testing on old sealed motor oil..thanks for tuning in
That’s ridiculous, how old do you think the oil is when it comes out of the ground? There is no shelf it sits on down there, at what point does it become not oil?
@@molinelligarage1004 just gota fuck with ya a little bit buddy, i always harass people when they pour it that way 🤣 you done pretty well not to spill though
I run 5-40w (had to order it online ) oil in my slant , went from 7psi to 10psi idle and 40 down the road. She needs some love in the botom end but still runs reliability!
I remember my friends dad’s 72 dodge dart 4 dr with the slant 6. It was a great commuter car . He put at least 15k a year driving to his job
That would a sweet car to daily drive nowadays..thanks for the comment

The problem is that oil definitely is way pass it's shelf life so i would recommend using it at all.

Amazing. There is a picture on the bottle showing how to pour it smoothly, and people still can't figure it out 😂😂😂😂

Thanks for the comment

I have a question regrading the water weld you used 3 years ago, did that tank ever leaked? Or is it still holding?
@@iPrinceKw it held till I sold it ...I had it for a few years ...it's a great product 👌

Thanks for your reply.
I will try to apply it tomorrow to my plastic fuel tank, and I hope it goes as good as yours.
Many thanks once again.
@iPrinceKw no worries ...just clean and sand the area very well before applying ...if the prep is good .. the outcome will be good . Cheers
@ which sand paper you used?
