    John Williams is definitely pure genius.
    In 200 years from now, he will be cited amongst biggest composers ever.

    I must have watched Fiddler a million times. I never realized John Williams was involved with the score. I shouldn't be surprised at all. An incredible nugget to find for sure, this is one piece of music that always gives me chills when I hear it. Just incredible!!!

    Best performance ever! The interviews reveal kindness. When an orchestra weaves into the end of a cadenza, heaven. Here, with your sustained stratospheric note + oboe, perfect! I fell in love with Gustavo when I first heard this. But don’t worry Maestro P, xo xo

    As a violinist, it always disturbs me that his fingernails are so long. Of course, even with short nails I don't come close to his brilliance.

    Listen to Stern's original recording again. Perlman is more casual, almost lazy, with his interpretation of the music.

    • @jacobsmith1877
      @jacobsmith1877 5 років тому

      Abe's Mission Control Agreed. Stern's intonation was far more precise and his ricochet was more rhythmic and percussive where Perlman's is an uncontrolled bounce
