My daughter, who played violin for the Hartford Youth Orchestra in the mid 80's, and I were fortunate to meet Itzhak Perlman, who had an engagement playing with the Hartford Symphony Orchestra before she went on tour with her group in China. What a wonderful human being.
That time I was in grade 7 of the school in a remote Siberian place. I always remember Jewish community concerts, everyday radio program in the morning of classical music by Moisei Gurevitch. Every morning. Now I know it was something. Worth of being here on the planet Earth.

The violin is abstract, it takes a master like PERLMAN to give it a soul!!!!!!! Baruch ha shem and his people of which I am proudly liked to be included.
It does! This exact orchestra with Itzhak Perlman and Gustavo Dudamel, plays: Schindler's List, by John Williams! I'd say that's about as good as it gets! ua-cam.com/video/cLgJQ8Zj3AA/v-deo.html
I saw Itzhak a few years ago in Seattle. No one, and I mean no one plays with more emotion than him. The violin becomes an organic extension of his heart. Of course when he played the theme to 'Schindlers List' there wasn't a dry eye in the audience. I listened with tears flowing down my Jewish face. ,
Superb, The orchestrations for ‘Fiddler On The Roof’ are among the finest for a musical movie, John Williams won an oscar for his treatment of this classic broadway score
Itzhak Perlman never ceases to inspire the world with his unique divine gift of music . You play and we listen- the busy world stops - I’m in a beautiful place every time I hear him the violin . Bravo 👏 Maestro
The highlight of my short career as a clarinetist was, as first chair of my HS orchestra, to play the first solo notes of Fiddler. It’s a joy to hear this amazing performance some 50 years later.
True master class!!! He plays the violin in virtuosso way, with such an easyness and comfortable energy... feeling that looks like doing a lot of fun with children... so perfect and accurate... it’s supernatural
I love the transition when an orchestra weaves in after a cadenza. Here, Maestro P's stratospheric-sustained note is followed by the oboist, clearly into her music + its style, 1:41 ❤️
I had the privilege of seeing and listening to Mr. Perlman play the violin at the Van Wezel in Sarasota, Florida. Delightful performance and a funny man.
My best friend told me that he was cousin to this virtuoso Perlman and now that I have seen and heard him I see my best friend in Mr. Perlman ! Good night my friend Howard in your eternal sleep!
un año mas tarde y continuo admirando esta majestuosa obra de arte de todos ustedes Prodigios Maestros en lo particular de cada instrumento y Direccion del Maestro Dudamel y los delicados dedos de Itzhak Perlman, un abrazo

Dudamel and Perlman together is honestly one of the best combinations I’ve heard so far
Breathtaking! Thank you God for giving us Itzhak Perlman 🙏!

Good God!
I would have loved to see Topal as Tevye. Unfortunately I wasn't born until the '90s.
Great Violinist Forever !

He also did great with Barenboim.

It’s incredible that John Williams arranged the film score and added some violin solo parts played beautifully by the great violinist Perlman here!
no, is not incredible, because John Williams is an absolute genius.
