I went to a INXS concert here in Florida & sat in the second row and I was the only one in my chair chanting their lyrics! He came over and grabbed my hand which freaked me out! Afterwards I saw the entire band as they were leaving the arena and Michael gave me a hug and Kirk gave me his water bottle + a half drunk bottle of Heinekin! A very cool band indeed! We miss you Michael!
That's how Michael was, always made an effort and made you feel like WOW and he was always amazing and so down to earth until the media invaded his life totally when he met Paula.

First live concert I saw out on my own, INXS, right there in Mackay, Queensland (1985). My old flat is down there in the corner... oops, missed it! These days I live in the Los Angeles area... if I'm up in LA, I try to stop in at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills and say hi to Michael. His mother's third of his ashes are buried there.

I used to listen to this song driving my 68 Firebird way over the speed limit on 285 around Atlanta in the mid 80s. Such was my misspent youth.

I always felt The Swing felt a lot more from the heart than Kick. Don’t get me wrong though, Kick is stellar. This one just edges it for me though.
