The vendor snow balls do knock you down. They just changed it to being in a party. So it doesn't work it raid. But does work in your group within the raid.

Haven't had any competition yet but every once in while a low level alliance will try to quest there. Eggs going for 1.5g+ stack of 5 atm on my server. Also tons and tons of light feathers that are 1.75g+ a full stack of 20. So far sold 415 small eggs in stacks of 5, little competition on the AH now with some under cutting me down to 1.25g per 5. Hope doesn't fall to quickly cause have 3 alts all full of eggs to list hah.
Interesting trick for hunters similar to drinking after feigning. Food items that regenerate percentage health continue to heal you after you pick up combat, so you can feign and eat as well as feigning and drinking.
The frost power elixir can also be obtained from the present in the mail you get after doing the grinch quest, so do both the cookie turnin and the grinch
I actually popped one of the healers last night with a snowball when they were drinking in UBRS and it made them stand up and stop drinking. Lmfao they didn't seem too happy after that.
They should have done it in Thunder Bluff. Stormwind is the capital of the Alliance so putting the event in the secondary capital is nice. In the Horde everything seems to happen in Org except Halloween. Also snowballs still have a chance to knock the player over.
If the Smokeywood Pastures Special Gift @ 6:26 gives us garbage (like the 10 light leather it gave me) are we forced to buy the profession rewards or can we get more gifts? D:
Back in Vanilla my buddy and I got a temporary ban for wrapping up slimy bones and then mailing them to random people, charging 1g COD. Our message would say something like "here's the epic you wanted". I still laugh about that.
Best item to wrap and give to another player - Monkey Brains Unfortunately this was added into the game in Cata, so you can’t do this in Classic. The thing that is so great about Monkey Brains is that it has no sell price. I drove my guild leader nuts one day when I filled all the empty slots in the guild bank with these. He had to remove them from the bank and manually “DELETE” every single one. And aside from that it just has a funny name. Not sure about how it works on classic but you skipped over a HUGE benefit of the snowman disguise. Back in vanilla it was instant cast and made you untargettable and could use it when jumping off high areas and freeze your location in the air. If it’s still like this...how could you skip it!?
Anyone know if Winter Hats drop from world mobs? I’ve read old comments from 2005 saying that people got a red or green winter hat from low level kobolds. So have any of you had this happen and can confirm that they don’t just drop from bosses?

The vanilla ones were 6 to all stats for 1hr, there were some that were 10 to all stats for 1hr and this years are the same, 15mins stamina buff. Yes, I have some VERY old chars whose inventories have never been cleared out XD Just found the cookie issue earlier tonight, my original first char has the 6to stat cookies in her bank because they were so good, I made lots, plus they never used to be soulbound and you didn't need to cook them you could just make the gingerbread on one char and post 5of them and a milk to all your ALTs lol. Which is why I had some leftover on her.

It's not about the RNG to get great rewards. It's about just competing the event and having fun with it. The whole point is to just have fun and enjoy it.
How to scam lazy people in the first few hours of the event: farm small eggs, make gingerbread cookies, sell 5 cookies and 1 milk for 3g. I made 120g doing this and 1 day later theres tons of small eggs that are now going for 20s each

Shadowpower you can stack with arcane power. You also can knock down people with a snowball as long are they in your're group.
The frost power does stack so well worth getting.

snowballs are extremely op in AV you can use it to knock drek into the alliance wiping him or use it to knock him out of the room resetting his hp
