Wow, what a game of footy! Credit to the Blues, they fought back in the last quarter and turned the game around. They kicked the last few goals and made it an epic finish. I'm glad the Pies held on in the end. What a way to win it in the end for Pendles' 400th game! There were so many good things to take out of the game. The style of footy that was played was much more like the Collingwood style from last year. We haven't seen much of that from Collingwood this year. The spark was definitely there for Pendles' 400th. Well done. We can still make finals if we win all our remaining games and some other results go our way. But for now, let's enjoy this win. It feels great to beat Carlton twice in the season and to do it for Pendles' 400th. That makes it even sweeter. Go Pies 💪⚫⚪⚫⚪

There was no way those fireworks weren't gonna be wasted if that was goaled. Congrats and roll on big fella. And that's coming from a Swannie who's already over it before the seasons ended besides i'm not too worried about the coming flogging from the Maggies. I did say (I think rnd 16) we'd have some bastard match-ups for the run home but not the carnage that's gone on.

Carlton fight back was pretty dam good I can hand it to them. Just not good enough for the pie's well done done pies winning it for the goat of Collingwood. Big talking point will be about the Carlton's club medical. They should of ran on the field to get Mitch off for a head assessment. @@chriscoyne4827 Degoey is a big loss, mate. He's such an important player, and it's hard to replace him. He's had some bad luck with injuries this year. I reckon whoever knocks Carlton out of the eight this year and takes their spot would be satisfying enough and a nice way to finish off the season 🤣🤣

Don't think we're much of a chance this year though. The effort over the last 2 weeks has come back. But we're still not playing the fast ball movement through the corridor like we did in 22/23 and earlier this year. To often just kick it to 50/50s down the sideline - Back to the Buckley years.

You do realise he marked it in the goal square 🤦
Credit to the Blues for not waving their arms in front of the umpires when they should have had free kicks or 50 meter penalties. The late high contact on McGovern should have been awarded a 50 metre penalty at the end of the game. Obvious bias towards Collingwood and Pendlebury on his 400th game.
