Thanks for that video brotha. I'm a first time boat owner and I was looking at all types of cleaning products and this video just costed my wife all her toylet bowl cleaners jaja. Thanks bud
If you want to save even more money, you can use straight liquid chlorine (exact same type you put in pools) and mix with some surfactant (dish soap) and it will work the same if not better. Just need to wash it down with a 4:1 mix of water (4 parts water, 1 part of pool chlorine). Just the same with Chlorox, don’t let it sit on anything metal like your trailer as the Sodium Hypochlorite will corrode it. SH is the active ingredient in all bleaches. It doesn’t matter what brand.

wow wow slow down, use the toilet bowl cleaner only on tough stained areas like at the water line and below or in the bilges. The stuff contains hydrochloride acid that’s the active agent for the stain remover. You will find most of your expensive hull cleaners contain it as well (On Off for example) It would also take off any wax you may have previously applied. If that’s what you want to do and re wax go for it. Will it bubble? if scrubbed with a brush yes very small bubbles but enough to get in and clean your scum line. For the hull and top side of the boat I use car wash with a few shots of bleach mixed in plus water 5 gallon Loews bucket. I use a power washer plain water on my non skid surfaces figured out it works just as well on the smooth. My boat is all of 42 feet, I have experimented six ways to Sunday as far as cleaning and using different agents to clean while not removing wax.
